TWITTER BAN IN PLACE

Despite our relatively small following on Twitter we appear to have fallen foul of social media's woke overlords.  Richey is now locked out of Twitter while an appeal is in process, although the account is still visible to others.  On Tuesday a number of prominent accounts were suspended, all of which were satirical accounts that mocked the left and political correctness.  Some of them have since been restored, including the famed parody account Titania McGrath.  Others affected included Jarvis DupontSir Lefty Farr-Right QC and Guy Verhoftwat.

Justifying our ban, Twitter highlighted a tweet from more than a fortnight ago that it said violated their rules on 'abuse and harassment'.  Again, Twitter has either failed to comprehend sarcasm or is deliberately targeting political opponents of the left.

The offending tweet was in response to a comment on the following tweet.  Note the comment: "Cops should have knelt on his neck".  This is important.

The Black Lives Matter street mural outside Trump Tower has been vandalised many times since it was installed.  All Richey did was copy in a video of a black woman defacing the mural with the comment: "Should they have knelt on her neck too" followed by a thinking emoji.  The tongue-in-cheek remark was intended to undermine his argument.  Little did he know that weeks later it would be undermining Twitter's argument - for how can they censor our account and not the user who made the original remark?

Richey has chosen to appeal the decision, pointing out the double standard.  Of course this could potentially lead to further action.  After all, Twitter's left-wing bias is not in any doubt - this is how their official account looks...

The video posted by Richey can be seen below.  It features a prominent anti-BLM activist called Bevelyn Beatty pouring black paint over the bright yellow mural.

STARMER THE "BRYLCREEMED SHITHOUSE"

A Labour councillor in Liverpool has let rip at Keir Starmer on her Facebook page, labelling him a 'brylcreemed shithouse'.  Cllr Sarah Morton was one of a number of hard left candidates selected for last year's council elections in the staunchly Labour city.  Writing in response to the government's A-levels u-turn, she took umbrage not with the wicked Tories, but her own party leader.  Accusing Starmer of taking credit for the u-turn, Cllr Morton issued a warning to Starmer and his deputy Angela Rayner: "This was a grassroots win, so you and Ange should be worried, because they are coming for your jobs, and the rest of us arl [old] activists, will do whatever we can to support them".

The full post was shared in a screenshot by her colleague Cllr Malcolm Kennedy (see below).  Cllr Kennedy - a moderate and Starmer supporter - commented:  "I must admit that when Corbyn was leader I had some pretty stern criticisms. Lamentably, I failed to mention his hair style".  Kennedy also fired off a tweet to Brylcreem, joking:  "Are you interested in a great marketing opportunity?"

Tension in Liverpool Labour is still high following last year's controversial de-selections ahead of the council elections.  At least five sitting councillors were de-selected and replaced with hard left pro-Corbyn candidates, one of whom was Morton.

The left's campaign against Starmer has picked up in the last week and they are now openly discussing a leadership challenge next year.  It's almost like-for-like revenge for the leadership challenge against Corbyn one year after he was elected leader.  On Sunday the hashtag #StarmerOut trended on Twitter for several hours.

Cllr Morton defended her comments about Starmer in a response to the Liverpool Echo...
"As a councillor and trade unionist representing a ward that consistently ranks highly on markers of deprivation, I know that many of those I represent have been frustrated by the positions taken by the Labour leadership on issues such as support for renters, the Black Lives Matter protests and the response to the Coronavirus crisis.
The post was to my personal Facebook account for friends only - and is an account which doesn't identify my political role or use my full name.
I’m a working class woman and anyone who knows me will tell you I’m not known for mincing my words. I use a different social media account for my public-facing councillor duties and would express my position differently in such a context".

ON THIS DAY IN 1976, CORBYN'S MATES...

The Provisional IRA shot dead an elderly garage owner in south Belfast.  Four masked terrorists arrived at Creightons petrol station in Finaghy with two bombs.  Initially they attempted to rob the owner, 77-year-old William Creighton.  Mr Creighton resisted and became involved in a struggle during which he was shot.  Two customers who arrived at the pumps were then held at gunpoint until the bombs had been planted.  After the terrorists fled the customers pulled the wounded Mr Creighton to safety before alerting the police.

Around ten minutes later the bombs exploded.  The area was being cleared by security forces at the time and a police officer and four military police were injured by flying glass.  Windows in nearby houses were shattered and the resulting fire largely destroyed the garage.  It took firemen over an hour to extinguish the flames.

Mr Creighton had been looking after the garage while his son was on holiday and died on his way to hospital.  Locals were furious.  It was the second time the Protestant business had been bombed by the IRA.  Creightons was one of the targets during Bloody Friday in 1972, when the IRA exploded more than 20 bombs across Belfast.  No-one was killed at Creightons that day, although nine people were killed elsewhere.

Two men were later charged with Mr Creighton's murder, having been arrested during a siege nearby.  Creightons of Finaghy was attacked again in April 2019, when an incendiary device exploded causing damage to six vehicles.  The 'New IRA' claimed the attack and also threatened to kill company directors of 11 businesses it accused of working with the police (including Creightons).

DIANE'S MASK FAIL

On the day compulsory face masks were introduced in England, Diane Abbott's former lover Jeremy Corbyn was pictured shopping with his wife.  Clearly they both considered themselves too important to bother complying with such tedious rules, but at least Diane is trying.  Last week she posed for a photo outside a charity shop in her constituency.  While her companions were both still wearing their masks, hapless Diane had hers hanging down under her nose.

Experts will tell you this is the equivalent of a man wearing a condom over one of his testacles, but then this is the same woman who turned up on election day wearing two left-footed shoes, so no surprise to find she can't wear a mask correctly!

LABOUR MEMBERS NOT CONFIDENT FOR 2024

Pro-Labour website LabourList has conducted a poll of its visitors in which over half said the party could not win the next general election.  Of all the possible outcomes, the most popular response was a Tory majority (26.7%).  This compared with just 8.4% for a Labour majority.  The 7,197 polled thought that a Labour-led coalition (14.9%) or a Labour minority government (11.7%) was more likely than a Labour majority.

There was worse news for Keir Starmer when it came to his leadership.  Asked whether they were happy with his leadership the response was almost a 50-50 split, with 'very unhappy' being the most popular response (34.3%).  This was marginally ahead of 'very happy' (33.8%).

While those polled were split on Starmer, the response was more universal on other questions.  81.5% thought the party should support the cancellation of local authority debt.  75.2% thought that proportional representation should be introduced for all UK elections.  70.8% agreed with Dawn Butler that the Metropolitan Police is institutionally racist.

Readers were also asked who their favourite shadow cabinet members were.  Amazingly the most popular response was David Lammy.  He was followed by Ed Miliband, Rosena Allin-Khan and Angela Rayner.  There were mixed results for the most senior members of Starmer's team.  While Lisa Nandy (Shadow Foreign Secretary) and Anneliese Dodds (Shadow Chancellor) polled well, the incredibly dull Nick Thomas-Symonds (Shadow Home Secretary) appeared way down the list with just 392 votes compared to 2,727 for Lammy.

The poll was carried out between 14-16 August and 80.9% of those polled said they were Labour Party members.  Full results can be found here.

STARMER'S WELSH HYPOCRISY

Keir Starmer has been very critical of the government over the last week in relation to the A-levels controversy.  Half a dozen attack videos have been put out via his social media accounts and he has persistently used the words 'fiasco' and 'incompetence'.  Strangely, his many messages have not been passed on by Welsh Labour MPs.  Why?  Because they are fully aware that the Labour-led Welsh government used the same algorithm to assess grades.

Embarrassingly for Sir Keir, there is barely any difference between what happened in England and Wales.  Just hours before the Tory government announced its u-turn on A-level results, the Welsh education minister announced an identical u-turn for Wales.  The timing of the Wales announcement was undoubtedly spurred on by the Westminster u-turn that was scheduled to be announced at 5pm.  Just after 2pm a series of hastily written soundbites were put out by Labour education minister Kirsty Williams in the form of this statement.  In the second paragraph she even says it: "In light of decisions elsewhere".

Unlike the overbearingly repentant Gavin Williamson, there was no hint of regret or admittance of wrongdoing by the Welsh government.  First Minister Mark Drakeford later tweeted a very brief appraisal of the u-turn, again no hint of an apology.

So it seems that unfortunately for the leader of the Labour Party - the only difference between the actions of his man in Cardiff and the Tories in Westminster is that the Tories apologised.

BURNHAM SILENT ON RUSHOLME INCIDENT

The scene in Rusholme, Manchester, on Friday night

Friday night's ugly scenes in Manchester were just the latest in a long line of major incidents completely ignored by the national media.  The scenes came a week after disturbances broke out in a small seaside town in Kent.  That incident was exposed by Nigel Farage on his YouTube channel.  Will Rusholme in Manchester be the next destination for the intrepid politician-come-reporter?  He's a brave man if he does head that way.

While most people's thoughts were on the 75th anniversary of the surrender of Japan, one community was more concerned with the 73rd anniversary of the independence of Pakistan from British rule.  Pakistan Independence Day was on Friday and the locals in Rusholme were keen to celebrate - despite Manchester currently being subject to a local lockdown.  Hundreds of people gathered on Wilmslow Road aka 'Curry Mile', so named because of its claim to house the largest number of south Asian restaurants in the UK.

Social distancing was non-existent - as were face masks - but drums, car horns, flares, fireworks, flags, cheering and dancing were very much in practice.  As the situation spiralled out of control the police were forced to close off the road.  Videos emerged on social media of flag waving mobs threatening the police and cheering as they retreated (see below).

The crowds were later dispersed following the intervention of a local Labour councillor.  Cllr Ahmed Ali assisted the police in persuading revellers to leave the area.  No arrests were made.

DCI Carol Hobson told the Manchester Evening News: "It is really disappointing to see behaviour of this type whilst we, as a community, are trying to combat Coronavirus and keep each other safe.  Friday night is one of the busiest in terms of demand on the police service and incidents like this one pull invaluable resources away from other people who may need the police more desperately. These blatant breaches slow us down".

The illegal gathering was also condemned by the local Labour MP.  Pakistan-born Afzal Khan had earlier urged his community to 'celebrate safely' and even tweeted a message in Urdu.  Clearly it fell on deaf ears, but he was keen to blame outsiders for the debacle.

Strangely, the directly elected Mayor of Greater Manchester chose to stay quiet about the incident.  Andy Burnham is well versed in issuing statements about a whole host of issues, but on this he said precisely nothing.  He was joined in his silence by the mainstream media and there was no mention of it even in the local BBC news.  BBC Radio Manchester did however cover the story of a trans person who was 'misgendered' by a doorman.  Oh, the horror!

Meanwhile, the spread of coronavirus appears to be gaining pace - especially in BAME communities - but the politicians and the media don't want you to know the reasons why...

MOST SHARED: WEEK 278

Just as we thought Dawn Butler couldn't squeeze any more life out of her police encounter, up pops the president of the National Black Police Association to lend her some support.  She's definitely in need of some, seeing as she's found little sympathy beyond her Labour colleagues.  The wall-to-wall media coverage of what was an uneventful everyday incident has seriously rubbed up the public the wrong way, especially seeing as the violent crime epidemic in London shows no sign of slowing.

Therefore it's no great surprise to see last week's most shared featured that very theme.  This BTLP original was shared 4,742 times via the Facebook page.

BUTLER FORGES ON

It's now a week since Dawn Butler just happened to be the passenger in a car that was stopped by the police.  Yet still she is whipping up hatred against them and doubling down on her false claims of racism.  On Friday she had an article published in the socialist Tribune magazine in which she repeated her claims, including stating once again that the driver was black, not of mixed heritage or white.  Presumably Sky News has seen the entire clip, as it was Sky who broke the story and edited the clip for their news bulletin.  They will know either way for sure, but they say nothing.  This is not journalism and provides an insight into how the mainstream media are now pumping out propaganda instead of asking questions.  The driver was not black, we can see that from the flashes of pale skin that Sky didn't blur out, but they are happy to go along with Dawn's lies because they too want to portray British police in a negative light.

In her article Butler refers to a meeting she had with Cressida Dick last week.  The meeting was pre-arranged and not specifically held for the purpose of discussing her friend's police stop - yes, that's right Dawn, it was he who was stopped by the police, not you.  However, despite saying that the incident was 'briefly discussed', Dawn released a statement on Friday in which the incident is the only thing discussed (see below).  Here she says that her friend 'wishes to remain anonymous', but that the Met 'will indeed corroborate that the driver is a black male'.  No such confirmation from the Met has arrived yet.

Butler's undoubted narcissism continues to blur her judgement.  In her article she manages to namecheck George Floyd as if her friend's routine police stop is as earth-shatteringly significant as Floyd's death.  She also drops a ball by confirming that the car in which she was travelling has rear tinted windows, inadvertently corroborating the fact that there is no way the police patrol could have identified the ethnicity of the driver anyway - even if he was black, which he clearly wasn't.  Dawn is also now making complaints about the backlash against her on social media.

On Friday she tweeted a montage of abusive comments directed against her and, although she doesn't make any reference to them being 'racist', her party leader jumped in with such a claim.  Sir Squeaky retweeted the montage stating that: "The racism that Dawn and many other Black MPs face is abhorrent. Completely unacceptable".  However, if you look closely at the montage (see below), it's clear that only a fraction of the comments could be described as 'racism'.  The overwhelming majority are just generally abusive towards an MP who has abused her position to whip up hatred against the police service.

If Dawn Butler had chosen another course of action - perhaps in supporting the police and not conducting a week-long publicity drive against them - she would not currently be experiencing such a backlash.  And in supporting her race baiting it's clear that the future is grim under this Labour leader.

ASHWORTH WANTS OUT OF LOCKDOWN

The Shadow Health Secretary has constantly sniped at the government throughout this pandemic.  Jon Ashworth also repeatedly questioned the speed at which the lockdown was lifted.  It was as if he wanted Britain to remain in permanent lockdown, but as a Leicester MP perhaps he should have been careful what he wished for.  Remarkably, Jon is now complaining about the length of the Leicester lockdown, despite all the evidence to show that the city is the worst affected area of the country by far.

On Friday he was moaning about an email from health minister Nadine Dorries in which she confirmed that Leicester would remain in lockdown for now.  This is an "unacceptable way to treat people in Leicester" he tweeted.  This followed another tweet in which he declared: "People across Leicester have patiently observed the rules and made huge sacrifices. Many were hoping for progress today. Now we learn the restrictions will be reviewed early next week. People across Leicester deserve better".

Ashworth was retweeting a local BBC reporter who had quoted a government spokesman as saying that infection rates had declined in the city.  That was odd, because ten days earlier the infection rate in Leicester was 1,426 cases per 100,000 and according to the latest data released on Friday it stood at 1,515.  So in actual fact the rate is rising and yet Jon Ashworth is demanding that the lockdown be ended!  This is the same guy who warned against easing the national lockdown when rates were falling.  The mind boggles.

Below are the current top ten worst affected local authorities for infection rates as of Friday 14 August according to the government website.  Figures provided here are infections per 100,000 residents.  As you can see, Leicester is far and away the worst affected.

1)   Leicester 1,515
2)   Blackburn with Darwen 1,107
3)   Oldham 1,083
4)   Bradford 1,045
5)   Wrexham 1,010
6)   Merthyr Tydfil 961
7)   Rochdale 921
8)   Denbighshire 848
9)   Barnsley 837
10) Bedford 804

If Jon Ashworth wants to get Leicester out of lockdown then clearly that infection rate needs to drop.  Unfortunately it is very clear from the evidence that people across Leicester have not 'patiently observed the rules' as Jon puts it.  And there remains an uncomfortable truth that certain communities have done more than others to help spread the virus.  Take Jon's own Labour colleagues for instance.

In the past week alone two Labour councillors in Leicester have been exposed breaking the lockdown rules.  Cllr Ruma Ali held a barbecue to celebrate the end of Eid while her colleague Cllr Rashmi Joshi was filmed at a crowded Hindu temple.  Is this symptomatic of a wider problem in the south Asian community?  Or is it just a coincidence that Labour's Luton mayor Tahir Malik resigned earlier this month after attending a party while five Labour councillors in Sandwell were forced to apologise after attending an event organised by the Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council?

Cllr Ruma Ali pictured at her Eid barbecue

If Labour really want an inquiry into the disproportionate number of BAME deaths, they may not like what it uncovers.

MOMENTUM ARE THE BOURGEOISIE

Momentum have been ridiculed over a Facebook meme they posted to their page on Friday (see below).  It was deleted after a huge backlash, but the screencap trended briefly on Twitter.

As if we didn't already know it - the Corbyn project was run by metropolitan elites all along.  They think that £150,000 is some kind of normal everyday salary.  Tell that to the working classes, in particular those who live north of Watford in that place that used to be called the Red Wall.

Huge own goal by Momentum and the bunch of middle class Londoners who run it.  Glorious.

ON THIS DAY IN 1972, CORBYN'S MATES...

The Provisional IRA murdered two British soldiers in the Andersonstown district of west Belfast.  The army had commandeered the Casement Park sports stadium almost two weeks earlier and were still working on improving its defences.  One of those killed in the attack was the base commander, Major David Storrey.  The new base was situated in the heart of a republican area and was under attack on almost a daily basis.  A soldier had been shot and paralysed by a sniper while working on the perimeter fencing three days before Major Storrey's murder.

It was the persistent sniper activity that led to a detachment of troops being sent out to monitor the housing estate beyond the Main Stand.  On the fateful morning, just after 9am, Major Storrey left the stadium to check on the patrol.  He had only just returned to active service after being injured and hospitalised in rioting a week earlier.  Accompanying him was a Royal Engineer by the name of Craftsman Brian Hope.  As they were crossing a small stream that ran behind the houses a bomb exploded, killing Craftsman Hope.  When other soldiers arrived they found Major Storrey lying next to the stream, still breathing.  He died two hours later in hospital.

The homemade bomb was thought to contain around 35lbs of explosives and had nuts and bolts packed around it.  The explosion shattered several windows in the surrounding houses.  Some locals discreetly voiced annoyance that the bomb had been left in an area where their children often played.

36-year-old Major David Anthony Storrey served with the 19th Regiment Royal Artillery.  He came from Ascot in Berkshire and was survived by his wife and three children.  Craftsman Brian Hope, 20, was affectionately known as 'Bob'.  He was a mechanic attached to Major Storrey's regiment.

KHAN STILL ON COURSE FOR LANDSLIDE

The latest opinion poll for next year's London mayoral election shows that Sadiq Khan still commands a huge lead over his Tory challenger.  The Redfield and Wilton poll was carried out between 5-7 August and uses a sample size of 2,500.  Comparing it to the other most recent poll - carried out by YouGov in March - Khan remains on 49 per cent, while the Conservative's Shaun Bailey has gained two percentage points and is up to 26 per cent.

At 49 per cent Khan is well within the margin of error to take victory in the first round of voting, for which a candidate requires more than 50 per cent of the vote.  This comes despite Khan's woeful record during the pandemic, from his disastrous slashing of public transport services to his avoidance of scrutiny in the Greater London Assembly.

There is better news for Shaun Bailey in head-to-head polling.  If Khan fails to reach the 50 per cent threshold he would go up against Bailey in a run-off.  The latest poll suggests the result would be 61-39 in Khan's favour.  This is 12 points closer than it was in March, when YouGov scored it 67-33 in Khan's favour.

However, the latest polling figures present barely any advance at all when compared to the first YouGov poll conducted almost two years ago.  In December 2018 Bailey was polling 28 per cent in the first round and 38 per cent in the run-off.  The failure to make any impact on Khan's lead has led some in the party to suggest that Bailey should be given the elbow in favour of a 'big hitter'.  Either way, time is running out if they want to avoid a crushing defeat in just eight months time.

A TALE OF TWO INTERVIEWS

Mark and Patricia McCloskey confront BLM protesters

At the end of June a wealthy couple in St Louis, Missouri sprang to international prominence following an incident outside their home.  Mark McCloskey and his wife confronted Black Lives Matter protesters who had just broken into their private estate.  Believing their lives and property to be in imminent danger, the couple took up arms and stood in front of their home to ward off the threat.  Video footage of the couple pointing their weapons later went viral.

The McCloskeys, who are both lawyers, have since endured a barrage of death threats, a further protest outside their home, a police raid and are being prosecuted for their actions.  As the entire incident took place on private property, the pair are confident they will win their case.

For greater context St Louis saw several nights of serious rioting a few weeks prior to the McCloskey incident, including the deaths of two people.  On May 30 a looter was killed during an attack on a FedEx lorry.  The driver was forced to stop by rioters who had blocked the road, after which his vehicle was mounted, he was threatened at gunpoint and his trailer broken into.  Fearing for his life the driver sped away, inadvertently trapping a looter under one of his wheels and dragging him to his death.  Three nights later retired police chief David Dorn was murdered.

77-year-old Dorn had gone to his friend's pawn shop after the security alarm had been triggered.  When he arrived he was confronted by several looters, one of whom shot and killed him.  Four serving police officers were also shot that night in St Louis, none of whom fatally.

While the deaths in St Louis were afforded little airtime by the mainstream media, the McCloskey story was in much demand and Mark McCloskey was given plenty of opportunities to defend himself.  Unlike in Britain, where all the mainstream news outlets promote a BLM agenda, US viewers can choose to watch Fox News if they want a more honest appraisal of what the other networks would describe as 'peaceful protests'.

The following two interviews given by Mark McCloskey show just how diametrically opposed the narrative is when it comes to Black Lives Matter.  First up is his Fox News interview, followed by CNN - during which the presenter actually criticises Fox for its stance.

Tucker Carlson (Fox News) speaks to Mark McCloskey

Chris Cuomo (CNN) speaks to Mark McCloskey

Despite all the death and destruction across America over the last few months, the McCloskey incident in which no-one was hurt attracted worldwide media attention.  The Chris Cuomo interview clearly presented a BLM agenda and sought to demonise the McCloskeys.  Watch below as our very own Good Morning Britain presenters displaye an identical agenda...

Ben Shepherd & Ranvir Singh (GMB) speak to Mark McCloskey

American patriots should count themselves lucky they have Fox News.  All we have is the same old leftist news propaganda on every channel.

MET HIT BACK

The Metropolitan Police clearly have their work cut out dealing with huge levels of post-lockdown crime, but this week they have been somewhat distracted from that role by the outrageous actions of an entitled MP.  Dawn Butler continues to milk what was a fairly innocuous incident, writing in The Guardian on Tuesday and doing the rounds on every media channel that will have her.  The Met finally hit back on Wednesday as the Deputy Commissioner released a statement expressing support for the officers involved in the Butler stop.  Sir Steve House is the Met's most senior officer, second only to Cressida Dick.

"The stop of a car in which Dawn Butler MP was travelling by Met officers on Sunday has prompted a lot of debate and it is important that the facts are fully understood.
The officers who undertook the stop were from the Violent Crime Task Force and were in the area as part of our proactive work to protect communities from violence.
Criminals often use vehicles to travel in and to commit crime, therefore officers will often check cars to see if there is anything that requires them to stop it and do further checks. The officers ran a number plate check on the vehicle. At this stage, the officers still didn’t know who the occupants of the car were, including their ethnicity because the car windows were tinted.
As a result of an officer making a human error as he inputted the car registration, the Police National Computer returned details of a car from another part of the UK.
The officers were not initially aware of this problem and as a result felt, with good reason, that they should do further checks on the car by stopping it and engaging with the occupants. I expect officers to have professional curiosity and I would have done the same.
I have viewed all the available video material of that interaction and I have read their statements - the officers acted professionally and politely, explaining why the stop was made and, when realising there was a mistake, explaining this and continuing to answer the occupants’ questions. Ms Butler has said that she has no complaint about 'how' the stop was conducted, rather her concerns lie in why the stop was initiated and I have discussed these concerns with her.
The officers in this case came into work on Sunday to keep Londoners safe.
Officers expect to be scrutinised and there are existing, appropriate and proportionate processes for making complaints and for facts to be established, and on the occasions where there is fault - unlike this case - for consequences to follow. The increasingly routine trial by social media is unfair and damaging to individual officers and has the potential to undermine the role our communities need us to do to protect them and keep them safe from violence.
I am grateful to these officers, as I am to all our officers who act professionally, humanely and in the service of the public.
I would also like to condemn the abuse that some on social media have directed at Ms Butler. It is unwarranted and unacceptable and we are working to support her".

Dawn Butler also faced criticism from police veteran Norman Brennan yesterday.  Speaking to TalkRadio's Ian Collins, Brennan condemned Butler's actions and the 'trial by social media'.  Watch below.

As for Dawn Butler, she is still doubling down on her claim that the only reason the police stopped the vehicle was because "there were two black people" inside.  Obviously the police couldn't have known this and in any case we can clearly see from her own footage that the driver was not black in any conventional sense.  Despite this, Butler informed communist news outlet Novara Media on Tuesday that her friend "is black, he's not mixed heritage, he's black".

Only a true narcissist like Dawn would continue to dig such a hole for themselves.

LABOUR BACK THE MIGRANTS

The migrant invasion via the English Channel is being welcomed by many in the Labour Party and any attempts to stem the flow is predictably being met with criticism.  Once again Labour shows its true colours and provides a timely reminder that however unable and/or unwilling this Tory government is to stop the boats - if Starmer was in Number Ten he would probably be offering to collect the migrants directly from Calais.  After all, in the eyes of the left these are the Labour voters of tomorrow.

On the Twittersphere many Labour MPs and activists are signalling their support for the illegals.  While Starmer himself has said little about the situation, his Shadow Home Secretary has written to Priti Patel denouncing the government's 'lack of compassion' for the migrants.  Nick Thomas-Symonds' letter can be seen below (click to enlarge).  It was retweeted by Starmer.

The hard left Socialist Campaign Group has put out its own statement regarding the situation, declaring 'solidarity' with the migrants.  The statement has been signed by all the usual suspects - Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott, Burgon, Butler and 26 others (see below).

Many of those named above have tweeted incessantly about the situation in recent days, but support for the invasion is not limited to the hard left.  Here's a selection of tweets from Labour MPs including those from both the hard left and the centre, proving that open door migration is a unifying aim of the party whoever is in charge...

Once again the Labour Party are misjudging voters.  A YouGov poll released earlier this week suggests 50 per cent of Brits don't believe the UK has a responsibility to protect those making the crossing, compared to 35 per cent that do.  While most current Labour voters may support the migrants, the party cannot win an election by further alienating the people who once upon a time elected a Labour government - the working classes.

The final destination for migrants will not be the communities where Labour MPs live.  The metropolitan elites who dominate today's Labour Party will not suffer the consequences of the actions they support.  It's the working classes who will compete for hospital beds, school places and jobs.  These are the people who are outraged at what is happening in the Channel and if the Tories don't get hold of this problem then Nigel Farage will fill a political vacuum - again.

Last weekend the Labour Party in Bath found out just how strongly people really feel about the situation.  They decided to take up the old communist standard of whipping up hatred against the rich, but their Twitter poll backfired spectacularly - yes, even on the predominantly left-wing platform of Twitter...

The final result of their poll is not available, because they deleted it.  Needless to say, overwhelmingly white and affluent Bath is not going to be a recipient of most of the so-called 'refugees' landing in Dover.

Make no mistake, a Labour government would open the floodgates - again.

MOMENTUM'S ANTI-POLICE VIDEO

Momentum have jumped on the Dawn Butler bandwagon with a video straight out of the divisive anti-police Black Lives Matter playbook.  The racially charged video is presented by Walsall activist Mish Rahman and plays on statistics for lockdown fines, interspersed with images of beach-goers and, naturally, Dominic Cummings.  Rahman scoffs at suggestions that disproportionate fines could be explained by BAME people having been more likely to break lockdown rules, but recent evidence suggests that this may well indeed be the case.  How else can it be explained that towns and cities experiencing spikes in infection rates are overwhelmingly home to large Asian communities - or to put it more accurately - Muslim communities who exist parallel to British life and operate by their own rules.  And then there are the relentless BLM demonstrations - all of which illegal under lockdown rules - but which Rahman doesn't mention once.  Watch below.

Rahman is hoping to get elected to Labour's ruling National Executive Committee later this year.  He may need a spot of luck now that the Great Leader's reign is over.  Some things haven't changed though and the mammoth election process is another four month Labour epic.  Why does it always take them so long to elect their own people?

WELSH BREXITEER MOCKS BUTLER

The Dawn Butler circus will have gone down like a lead balloon with the overwhelming majority of British people.  Even the heavily edited version of her confrontation with Met officers shows that she is an entitled snob whose uppity arrogance will resonate with barely anyone beyond middle class Remainers who have embraced the Black Lives Matter anti-police Marxist narrative.  Sir Keir Starmer has naturally endorsed Butler's concerns, as have her comrades in the Socialist Campaign Group.  The likes of Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott, Burgon and Sultana are in that group.  Enough said.

Her humiliation of those police officers is going to backfire spectacularly in the working class communities Labour can't afford to alienate any further.  While it's true the Old Bill are not universally revered, the sight of an MP using her privilege to speak down to people of any profession is a huge misfire.  This was perhaps best exemplified by a video made by a Welsh politician on Monday night.  Richard Taylor, a former Brexit Party candidate, was on holiday in Spain when the Butler story broke.  He responded in hilarious, but cutting fashion (watch below).

Mr Taylor knows a thing or two about the police, having been convicted of dozens of offences in his youth.  Having found Christianity while serving one prison sentence, the Llanelli native turned his life around.  A lifelong Labour voter, he was converted to the Brexit Party last year and stood in the general election.  He came second in Blaenau Gwent behind the Labour candidate, slashing the Labour majority by more than 3,000 and easily saving his deposit by securing more than 20 per cent of the vote - one of the best Brexit Party results in the country.

Mr Taylor is now a member of a party committed to abolishing the Senedd - the Abolish the Welsh Assembly Party.  The party campaigns for a return to direct rule, arguing that only one in four people voted for the assembly back in 1997.  If Covid-19 teaches us anything, it's that things were definitely a lot simpler in the UK before New Labour introduced devolution!

MOST SHARED: WEEK 277

Black Lives Matter protests continue on both sides of the Atlantic, albeit on a much smaller scale.  Thankfully Britain's mob has yet to achieve the carnage that has taken place in American cities, but we are of course one black death away from similar scenes here.  Scenes outside Colindale police station in London on Friday confirm that we are now reaching a stage where any arrest of a black person is met with protest and a potential flashpoint.  BLM UK appear to be well organised and can mobilise quickly - no great surprise seeing as more than a million pounds has flooded into their coffers this summer.  Dawn Butler's exploitation of her recent encounter with the Met is another example of how individuals are desperate to inflame tensions and the mainstream media is only too happy to give them a platform.

Last weekend's Emancipation Day event in London brought BLM onto the streets again, complete with a new paramilitary-style unit calling themselves 'Forever Family'.  Many of the protesters waved placards demanding reparations for slavery, despite the fact none of them had ever actually been slaves themselves - or their parents or grandparents for that matter, something alluded to in last week's most shared...

DAWN BUTLER/SKY NEWS ANTI-POLICE SMEAR

Labour's Dawn Butler was all over the news and social media on Sunday in a co-ordinated attempt to smear the Metropolitan Police and exacerbate racial tensions.  At 12:18 Dawn tweeted that "she got stopped by the police driving through Hackney".  Despite declaring that she'd filmed the whole incident and there would be more details to follow there was no further update for almost five hours.  It was during the five o'clock news bulletin on Sky News that a heavily edited version of Butler's video was broadcast, alongside soundbites from an interview she'd conducted accusing the Met of 'racial profiling' and 'institutional racism'.  The broadcast can be seen below.

A number of things have occurred here which suggest that Sky News have collaborated with Dawn Butler to present a false narrative.  Firstly, you'll note that in Dawn's tweet she states that she got stopped while driving.  However, this is a lie.  While the steering wheel is not visible in Sky's clip, the policeman's name badge can be seen on the left hand side of his uniform.  Met officers' names are actually displayed on the right hand side of their uniforms.  The lettering is indecipherable in the clip, partially because it's back to front - in other words the video orientation has been flipped.  This mirroring effect suggests Butler was in the driving seat when she was actually the passenger.

Whether this is a result of Dawn's original mobile phone recording or if the effect was added afterwards is unclear, but tied with the false suggestion that she was the driver it doesn't look good.

What's more, another clip has since appeared that adds fuel to the fire.  In the Sky News edit Dawn speaks directly to the camera before looking across to the other seat.  As the camera begins to move toward who or what she is looking at, the video cuts to her confrontation with the officers.  This appears to be the very beginning of her recording and she is looking at the driver, who is naturally the first port of call for the officers.  The video below shows the new clip, but it has been reversed back to show the correct orientation instead of the back to front version shown on TV.  It also reveals another interesting detail concerning the racial profiling allegation Butler has made...

Although his face is obscured, it's clear that the individual in the driver's seat is not black.  The light-skinned person may be white or mixed-race, but he is not black.  This deals a further blow to Dawn's race baiting.

As for the confusion as to why the vehicle was stopped, the Met released the following statement on Sunday evening:

At approximately midday on Sunday, 9 August, police stopped a vehicle in Hackney.
Prior to stopping the vehicle, an officer incorrectly entered the registration into a police computer which identified the car as registered to an address in Yorkshire.
Upon stopping the vehicle and speaking with the driver, it quickly became apparent that the registration had been entered incorrectly and was registered to the driver in London.
Once the mistake was realised the officer sought to explain this to the occupants; they were then allowed on their way.
No searches were carried out on any individuals.
One of the occupants has since been contacted by a senior officer and they have discussed the stop, subsequent interaction as well as feedback regarding the stop.
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter further with the occupants if they wish to do so.

Could it be that it was just an honest mistake?  Butler clearly wasn't interested in the explanation and has instead sought to whip up racial tension and smear the Met at a time when race relations have been driven to their lowest ebb in decades.  It should come as no surprise to anyone that Sky News have happily co-operated with Butler in order to drive this latest piece of anti-police propaganda.  The mainstream media has done nothing but encourage the divisive agenda of Black Lives Matter throughout the summer.

It's worth noting that while Sky News, Channel 4 and others choose to broadcast Dawn Butler's racially divisive fake narrative, there were two murders in London over the weekend and over a dozen stabbings.  Yet instead of life and death situations, viewers are faced with Dawn Butler's sour faced narcissistic race baiting nonsense.
