MEME MONDAY #100

We would have loved to have compiled a special one hundredth edition, but sadly poor health and work commitments are still holding us back.  It's just a bog standard Meme Monday...

Mon 7 Sept - 60 shares
Tue 8 Sep - 30 shares.  Lefty singer Pink (real name Alecia Moore) took
offence to being likened to Eddie on her birthday in 2023, lashing out at a
troll on her social media.  She failed to see the irony as a 'trans ally',
forgetting that Eddie is just a 'beautiful woman'!
Tue 8 Sep - 64 shares
Wed 9 Sep - 81 shares
Thu 10 Sep - 78 shares.  This post received a handful of despicable remarks
from lefty trolls and a grand total of twelve laughing emojis (out of more than a
thousand emoji reactions).  The left really are pathetic.  As a mark of respect
in honour of Charlie, not one of these clowns was banned from our page.  As a
free speech advocate, he would have sought to debate, not censor
Thu 10 Sep - 260 shares
Sat 12 Sep - 152 shares
Sun 13 Sep - 607 shares
Sun 13 Sep - 70 shares.  A reference to Orwell's 1984

Half a dozen Facebook Stories were published across the two pages last week, including another three editions of Diversity Is Strength...

ALERT SYSTEM GOT BURNED

Louise Haigh is said to have authorised the recent emergency alert, or was she
simply hung out to dry on account of the backlash?

It was one of the first major mis-steps of the Burnham regime - the disastrous decision to utilise the emergency alert system to issue a nationwide alert over the threat of potential wildfires.  Mobile phones across the country began blaring on the evening of Friday 14 August as the UK government warned the sheeple against going out into the dry grass and lighting barbecues and fireworks.  This was not an 'emergency', it was government overreach and it backfired spectacularly.

At BTLP, there is no such thing as a government alert on any phone belonging to either of us, as we strongly opposed this system from the outset.  We saw that it was clearly designed to expand the state into the private spaces of ordinary citizens in preparation for their planned digital social credit system.  It was highly unlikely to serve any life saving purpose, in fact in certain circumstances it could actually cost lives by alerting bad actors to the presence of hidden targets.  For instance, in acts of terror we were previously told to run, hide, fight - in that order - how are people supposed to remain successfully hidden when their phone begins blaring?  Then there is the most publicised drawback that claims domestic abuse victims can be at risk if hidden phones suddenly begin blaring and draw the ire of their abusers.  Of course, neither of these scenarios has reportedly cost any lives three years since the system was officially launched, but likewise no lives have been saved either!

At the time of our initial opposition, we were criticised by a fair few followers, many of whom appeared to be still wound up too tight from the scamdemic.  The fact it was a Tory government that rolled out the alert system added fuel to the backlash.  Perhaps things would have been a wee bit different if it had been a Labour government rolling it out, but when it comes to state overreach we were not going to give the Tories a free pass.

Various tests of the system began in 2023, at which point we advised people to either opt out in their phone settings or simply switch off their phones as the test was being carried out.  We were accused of overreacting - 'it's just a text message' - while others accused us of having tin foil wrapped around our heads.

National test alerts asides, most people in the UK had never received an emergency alert on their phone, with its only active use being targeted to specific areas or regions.  One 'emergency' related to an undetonated WWII bomb in Plymouth (that never detonated), while its only other uses related to three storm warnings, none of which can be proven to have had any impact whatsoever.  Most people tend to take notice of weather forecasts and word of mouth, and have survived their entire lives on this basis.

Then everything changed on August 14.  For the first time a national emergency alert was sent out - for the threat of wildfires, as opposed to an actual imminent wildfire bearing down on inhabited areas.  The trigger for the decision appeared to be a series of fires that struck the Midlands the previous day.  These fires destroyed several properties, but everyone involved was successfully evacuated without an emergency alert on their phones.  Perhaps local people would have forgiven the government for the imposition of an emergency alert in such circumstances, but a national alert over potential wildfires came 24 hours after their houses had already burned to the ground.

The decision to issue a national alert was catastrophic to the cause of the nanny state.  According to The Daily Telegraph, a huge spike in internet users searching for how to disable the alerts lingered long after the wildfire alert was sent out.  Likewise, an emoji poll we conducted on Facebook garnered an overwhelmingly negative response to the emergency alert system - contrasting with the backlash we received three years ago.

68 per cent of respondents indicated they had already opted out prior to the wildfire alert, with 29 per cent saying they would now consider doing so.  Just three per cent of the 115 respondents wanted to persevere with the alerts.  No-one told us to wrap our heads in tinfoil.

Public recognition of government overreach and the planned digital social credit system has increased exponentially in recent years and we will continue to do our bit in raising awareness.  Our freedom depends on it.

MEME MONDAY #97

OK, so it's now Tuesday and we are a day later than usual on account of time constraints and Karl's surgery.  He is on his feet again and has even had all his staples removed, but he is still a considerable way off a return to full health.  He is producing more, including a new video we'll publish here later.  Last week's meme output was severely limited compared to previous weeks, because Richey did not do as much to top up Karl's output on account of a busy work schedule.

Wed 19 Aug - 1,398 shares
Wed 19 Aug - 104 shares
Wed 19 Aug - 150 shares
Thu 20 Aug - 54 shares
Fri 21 Aug - 24 shares.  Richey's sole effort last week
Sun 23 Aug - 290 shares

Two Facebook Stories were published last week.  R.I.P. Professor Arday - who should not have died - but who should not have lied, either.

MEME MONDAY #96

We are once again operating a skeleton crew this week, with just a handful of memes produced and evenly split between Karl and Richey.  It is likely to be some weeks before output can return to anything like previous levels.

Mon 10 Aug - 230 shares.  Just to clarify that the leader of Cambridge City
Council - Cllr Katie Thornburrow - is the one on the right in this picture!
Wed 12 Aug - 559 shares
Fri 14 Aug - 80 shares
Sat 15 Aug - 2 shares
Sun 16 Aug - 320 shares
Sun 16 Aug - 61 shares
Sun 16 Aug - 4 shares.  Too soon?

Richey produced two Facebook Stories last week, one of which incorporated one of Karl's memes when the (Tory) government first introduced the 'emergency alert system'.  The red half of the Uniparty had no issues in adopting this Tory policy, because socialism is more naturally suited to invading the privacy of citizens and dictating to them in their own homes.  Opt out in your phone settings and tell the government to do one.

MEME MONDAY #95

Slim pickings again this week as Karl continues his recovery.  He did produce three original memes towards the end of the week, while the rest of the week was made up of Richey's combination of reworked memes and originals.

Mon 3 Aug - 39 shares. Richey took this old meme and simply changed
the text in the speech bubbles
Tue 4 Aug - 132 shares
Fri 7 Aug - 941 shares. Karl's second meme since leaving hospital was
also our most popular meme in some time
Sat 8 Aug - 189 shares
Sun 9 Aug - 176 shares.  Paid for by Cambridge taxpayers, some of
whom consistently support left-wing candidates like the Labour
council leader Katie Thornburrow (circled). The huge student
population in Cambridge who vote for Lab-Green clowns don't pay
council tax and don't care how other people's money is spent
Sun 9 Aug - 4 shares.  Another old meme that
Richey took and re-edited
Sun 9 Aug - 29 shares

No Facebook Stories were published last week, but they will return soon.

MEME MONDAY #94

It was another difficult week as a one man band, but Richey did his best in between jobs.  He managed to film a short video midweek, but the memes were on short supply during that period.  Hoping for more content this week, fingers crossed.

Mon 27 Jul - 65 shares
Mon 27 Jul - 35 shares
Fri 31 Jul - 7 shares.  14 hours it took!
Sat 1 Aug - 27 shares
Sun 2 Aug - 6 shares
Sun 2 Aug - 2 shares.  Richey uncovered this old meme and updated it
Sun 2 Aug - 100 shares.  Karl reworked this from his Starmer version and it marks
his first work since leaving hospital last week

Richey managed two Facebook Stories last week, both of which drew pushback.  Firstly, people complained that the poll was 'fake news' (it wasn't) and secondly, the migration lobby took issue with the Ceuta post - declaring that a) most of the migrants had been returned and b) Ceuta is not in Europe.  The first part is true, in that most of the invaders were returned, but not all of them.  Unaccompanied minors who claim asylum cannot legally be removed, many of whom from previous stormings of Ceuta have been transferred to the Spanish mainland and granted asylum.  Secondly, while the territory of Ceuta is located in north Africa, it is part of the European Union and the intention of the invaders is to use the Spanish territory as a stepping stone to the Spanish mainland, from where they can disperse across Europe.

It is a fucking invasion, numpties.

It's not been easy the last two weeks, but you can show your appreciation for Richey's efforts by buying him and the bed laden one a very reasonably priced pint each here.  The irony is that Karl won't be drinking alcohol of any descripion any time soon!
