TOON TUESDAY #113

It's been several months since we last indulged in some cartoons and this is by no means a return to a weekly feature, but we will do our best in between work shifts and GP visits.

The theme here is PANIC!  Remarkably, none of the major newspapers featured Mr Potato Head telling the nation to be afraid.  With the exception of The Mirror's Pete Songi - an unpublished toon featured below - there was no Wes Streeting in sight.  In fact, despite the obvious plethora of opportunities for a state engaged in such rampant scaremongering, most cartoonists opted to depict events in France or the forthcoming Budget.  The latter is scheduled to land tomorrow, so perhaps we will revisit that theme next week.
