NAZ SHAH'S YORKSHIRE FIFTH

Naz Shah's visit to flood-hit Pakistan is a reminder of where Labour's priorities lie.  During a cost of lockdown crisis that will hit low-paid British workers hard in the pocket, a Labour frontbencher jets off halfway around the world to plead for help on behalf of Pakistani flood victims.  It's a terrible tragedy no doubt, but does it warrant a personal aid flight?  Voluntary or otherwise, does aid work not also register as a second job?  Presumably Keir Starmer would have been only too happy to sanction such a trip and if anyone had dared ask he would have exempted it by way of Labour's 'limited exceptions in cases of public service'.  We were not aware such public service extended around the world.

The floods in Pakistan occurred at the height of the monsoon season in south Asia, but just like the heatwaves in Europe that occurred at the height of summer - the culprit was immediately identified by the establishment as 'climate change'.  That record isn't going to change any time soon.  Whatever the weather event - mild winter, cold winter, dry spring, wet spring - the blame will always be the same.  It's a scam that Labour is only too happy to indulge.  Naz Shah's Labour colleagues were quick to perpetuate tales of a 'climate crisis' and 'climate catastrophe' in Pakistan, including Preet Kaur Gill, Yasmin Qureshi and Anas Sarwar.

During her Pakistan trip Naz made several videos on behalf of the Islamic Relief charity, which is based in the UK.  She also wrote an article for the Metro newspaper about her visit and told Sky News that the £1.5million sent by the UK government was just 'one per cent of what the United Nations had asked for'.  She also bemoaned rising inflation in Pakistan and implored viewers to donate.  It was clearly a plea from the heart.

Shah describes herself as a 'proud Yorkshire lass' in her Twitter profile, but when other Yorkshire lasses were being groomed and raped by Pakistani gangs she openly mocked them on Twitter by retweeting an account that had written: "Those abused girls in Rotherham and elsewhere just need to shut their mouths.  For the good of diversity."  To alleviate any notion of ambiguity she also clicked the 'like' button on said tweet.

Ironically, Shah has since been appointed the 'shadow minister for crime reduction'.  One wonders if the remit includes gang rape.  Prior to that role she was the 'shadow minister for community cohesion' and before that the 'shadow minister for women and equalities'.  You might laugh, if it wasn't so insulting.

During Naz Shah's seven year parliamentary career she has repeatedly acted in the interests of her ethnic and religious kin.  She is an outspoken critic of Israel and had the party whip briefly withdrawn in 2016 when she was found to have posted a meme suggesting Israel be relocated to the United States.  She is particularly fond of one of her Commons speeches in which she defended the Prophet Muhammad, comparing criticism of him to the physical damage of statues that was seen during the BLM riots.  This speech has been pinned to the top of her Twitter feed for more than a year.

Since returning from Pakistan, Naz has given a keynote speech at the Islamic Financial News Forum 2022 in London.  There, she announced that the 'Islamic finance sector' is set to grow beyond $4trillion by 2030.  Asides from the question as to why there is a parallel faith-based finance system in the West, why is such plentiful wealth not called upon to help victims of, say, a flood in Pakistan?  The United Nations demanded £138million for Pakistan, but this is a drop in the ocean for a finance sector worth trillions.

These are the actions of a fifth column.  Parallel institutions, parallel rules, parallel finance - taking everything from a host nation while providing very little of positive note in return.

Furthermore, this fifth column has effectively captured the Labour party.  How else are the grooming gangs allowed to operate so freely in Labour-led towns and cities?  Why did Labour's current leader turn a blind eye when he was in such a lofty position as the director of public prosecutions?  And let's not forget who the victims are in these crimes - the very offspring of the workers that Labour once strove to represent.

The party of Keir Hardie is dead.

SPEAKER'S MUHAMMAD MOMENT

Lindsay Hoyle and Imran Hussain

Commons speaker Lindsay Hoyle has been forced into an embarrassing apology after referring to a Muslim Labour MP as 'Muhammad'.  Unfortunately for Hoyle, the MP's name is actually Imran.

The incident occurred during a debate on Tuesday regarding 'racism in cricket' (yes, they really held a parliamentary debate after one cricketer was referred to by a racial term once in ten years).  Hoyle introduced the member for Bradford East as 'Muhammad Hussain'.  Imran Hussain then rose to his feet as someone is heard correcting the Speaker.

In response to Hoyle's faux pas, the subtitles on Parliament's live stream automatically generated the name 'Mohammad Yasin'.  Yasin is the Labour MP for Bedford, but he was not participating in the debate.

Hoyle has since apologised:  "This was an honest mistake.  I called Imran as soon as I could to apologise - and he accepted".  Imagine the outcry if this slip of the tongue was from the mouth of a Tory minister?  There would be howls of Islamophobia and a media witch hunt lasting days, if not weeks.  As it happens, Sir Lindsay was elected a Labour MP.

BRADFORD COUNCILLOR TO STAND DOWN

A councillor in Bradford has hit out at Keir Starmer after announcing he will not stand for re-election next year.  Cllr Richard Dunbar (pictured) has represented the semi-rural Thornton and Allerton ward since 2014 and is the council's LGBT spokesman.  Dunbar posted the news on his social media accounts and called on Starmer to 'consider his position'.  You may want to skip to paragraph five below.
Hi Everyone,

I want to share some news with you all.

You will all know that I take very seriously my role as an elected member of Bradford Council for Thornton, Allerton and Sandy Lane. I have been in this position for nearly 8 years and at no point have I taken it for granted. I have used my position to try and better the lives of those I represent and stand firmly against injustice in Bradford and across the world.

In light of the above, it therefore gives me no joy, to announce that I intend to stand down as your Councillor after my current term comes to an end in May 2022. I have arrived at this decision following some significant changes in my personal life (all good) which for the time being I am unable to share but which would make it very difficult to carry on as a Councillor.

I need to assure you that this was by no means an easy decision to make but I want to thank the members of the Thornton and Allerton Labour Party for their support, my ward colleagues Sue Duffy and Bev Mullaney and, of course, everyone across the area for your support and challenge. I also have a great group of friends that have kept me grounded. I must also thank my mum who has always pushed me to work hard to make things better for others and challenge inequality at every turn. This is socialism and I am proud of it!

I believe passionately in the power of local government to transform people’s lives but this has been made all the more difficult under the Tories and their austerity agenda that has systematically attacked local authorities for the past 11 years. They should also be held to account for their ongoing racist implementation of the hostile environment policy and also for their catastrophic mishandling of the coronavirus crisis. I am sure a truly independent inquiry will lay this bare.

The last 17 months have been a real challenge for everyone but I must say I am deeply disappointed in the performance of the leader of the official opposition. For all the talk of levelling up and providing 'new leadership' it pains me to say that all we have had is an attack on party democracy and no policy programme that gives local communities and the country at large the hope it so desperately needs. I think the time has come for Keir Starmer to consider his position. For me this has never been about one man. But it is about ideology and what we fundamentally stand for as a party. When people are openly saying they no longer know what Labour stands for then it is time for action to be taken. Will Keir put his own interests ahead of the Party and the country at large? I will not leave Labour-I will stay and I will organise for us to be much better than we are at present.

There are nine months to go before I leave office but I want to assure you that I will continue to work hard on your behalf up until that point. Whilst I suspect some people will be happy at reading this news let me be clear that when I do leave it won’t stop me from calling out injustice and calling on our ‘leaders’ locally, regionally and nationally to be bolder and radical when it comes to ensuring the people we serve have the best chance to not only survive but thrive in all aspects of their lives. The most important step they could take is to take more decisive action on tackling the harsh realities of climate change.

I can’t thank you the people of Thornton, Allerton and Sandy Lane enough for your support over the past 7+ years.

People told me back in 2014 that a young working class lad couldn’t win in Thornton, Allerton and Sandy Lane. Collectively we proved people wrong because we worked hard, are honest with people and we get results. I think to win with a majority of 52 the first time around to a majority of 1074 for my second term proves Labour knows how to win locally with the right policies and right people.

Rest assured I won’t be taking my foot off the pedal for the next 9 months. Lots of work still to do!

Thank you,

Cllr Richard Dunbar
It will come as no great surprise to learn that Dunbar is on the left of the party and can be seen pictured alongside Jeremy Corbyn on his Facebook page.

AUSTIN MITCHELL DEAD

Labour's Austin Mitchell alongside Tory MP David Davis at a Leave rally in 2016

Former Labour MP Austin Mitchell passed away on Thursday morning, aged 86.  Mitchell was the MP for Great Grimsby for almost 38 years and stood down at the 2015 general election.  The following year he campaigned for a Leave vote in the EU referendum during which he happily shared platforms with Tory and UKIP politicians.  He was a familiar face to many prior to entering the Commons, thanks to his role as a TV presenter in the 1970s.  It was Mitchell who anchored the famous encounter between the football managers Brian Clough and Don Revie (see below).

Austin Vernon Mitchell was a Bradfordian by birth and was raised just north of the city.  He was university educated at Manchester and Oxford.  He would go on to become a university lecturer in history and politics, beginning with a stint in New Zealand.  It was during his stay there that he first became involved in Labour politics, joining the NZ Labour Party in 1961.

He was a complex character during his four decades in UK Labour.  He was a member of the Socialist Campaign Group of MPs, although he did not always espouse socialist views.  He failed to nominate the far left candidate in the 2007 leadership election and backed Gordon Brown over John McDonnell.  In 1983 he penned a memoir entitled Four Years in the Death of the Labour Party, his account of the 1983 general election defeat that was largely the result of Michael Foot's unelectability.  That defeat was not surpassed until Jeremy Corbyn's defeat of 2019, during which the seat of Great Grimsby turned blue for the first time since 1945.  Perhaps it was a testament to Mitchell that his Remainer successor could only hold the seat for four years.

Both wings of the Labour Party paid tribute on Twitter.  Leaders past and present remarked on his haddock stunt of 2002, in which he temporarily changed his name to promote the fishing industry.

Mitchell was married twice and leaves a widow and four children.

SHAH'S DODGY DEFENCE

Naz Shah has condemned anti-Semitic remarks blared out over a loudspeaker at a rally she herself addressed last month.  The speaker reportedly led the Bradford crowd in various Arabic chants that included "God, purify al-Aqsa from impure people" and "God, lift the curse of the Jews off the Muslims in Palestine".  Shah released a statement via social media (see below) in which she claimed ignorance on the basis she doesn't speak Arabic.

The statement is a bit rich for a woman suspended from her party in 2016 for the very thing she now claims to 'never tolerate' ie. anti-Semitism.  Just 48 hours before she issued the above statement, Shah retweeted her Labour colleague Afzal Khan (the MP for Manchester Gorton) who had taken part in a 'Friends of al Aqsa' rally.  The Friends of al Aqsa are headed by Ismail Patel, a Leicester-based activist who has strong links with Hamas.

Patel also has shared platforms with both Jeremy Corbyn and George Galloway.

Naz Shah certainly doesn't do herself any favours.  Three days after issuing her statement asserting that she does not speak Arabic, she tweeted the following...

Note the Arabic writing at the beginning of the message.  In English it reads: "We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return".  Did she copy and paste it or has she simply been telling porkies about her knowledge of Arabic?

CONVICT WINS SEAT FOR LABOUR

Mohsin Hussain (left) with his twin brother Hassan. Both men were convicted of
ABH in 2014

A convicted criminal standing for Labour in the Keighley Central ward of Bradford has won the seat.  We reported on Mohsin Hussain's string of convictions last week, but despite the best efforts of local Tories in drawing attention to them, voters have elected him anyway.

Two vacancies were up for grabs in Keighley Central and Hussain finished top of the pile.  His colleague Christine Chapman failed to pick up the other seat.  All those who finished above her share something in common, suggesting that ethno-religious identity trumps party loyalty in this part of Keighley.

Keighley Central, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (two seats)

Mohsin Hussain (Lab) 3,412 (29%) ELECTED
Mohammed Nazam (Con) 2,400 (20%) ELECTED

CRIMINAL PAST OF LABOUR CANDIDATE

Mohsin Hussain (circled) pictured last month with Tracy Brabin and Angela Rayner

The criminal past of a Labour council candidate in West Yorkshire has come to light after local Tories highlighted the issue.  Mohsin Hussain is standing for election in Keighley, but has a string of convictions behind him including actual bodily harm, resisting a police constable, dangerous driving and driving without insurance and a licence.

In 2014 Hussain was convicted of ABH alongside his twin brother, Hassan, and another man in relation to an attack on Ibrar Ahmed in Keighley.  During that attack Hussain and his brother used pickaxe handles while their accomplice used a baseball bat.  The motive for the attack was never divulged.  While on bail, Hussain committed a further offence of dangerous driving.  His earlier convictions were from 2013, when he was 18.

Mohsin and Hassan Hussain are sons of the late Abid Hussain, a Labour councillor and former lord mayor of Bradford who died last year after a battle with coronavirus.  Ironically, both men were studying for degrees in criminology at the time of their ABH conviction.  Now Mohsin is hoping to succeed his father by winning a seat in Keighley Central, a ward held by Abid for ten years up to his death.

Mohsin's convictions were brought to light by the Conservative MP for Keighley, Robbie Moore.  Moore posted the following video on his Facebook page last week, using Hussain's criminal past to tarnish Labour's bid to make Tracy Brabin the first ever elected mayor of West Yorkshire.

Mr Moore told Yorkshire Live: "If Keir Starmer wants to show he’s tough on crime, he would kick this Labour candidate out of the party for good".  However, Labour defended their candidate, saying:  "We are delighted that Mohsin Hussain is standing for Labour in Keighley Central.  Mohsin has been open and honest about his past.  He has sincere regrets but has since turned his life around and is now a pillar of the community".

It is true that Hussain made no secret of his past when he was put up for election.  In February he told the Keighley News: "I made a poor decision a long time ago – when I was still a teenager – and took full responsibility for my actions.  It was a moment in my youth when I made a big mistake, but it was a wake-up call and from there I made a clear decision to take a new path and I've worked hard to make something of my life".  Mohsin was 19 at the time of his ABH conviction.  In the interview he went on to discuss his legal qualifications, as a result of which he now runs his own immigration and asylum advisory firm in Keighley.

Hussain pictured alongside Rayner and Brabin during recent campaigning

In March Hussain appeared in a video for the Islam Keighley Centre, during which he praised the community centre's objective of 'preventing crime', this time without referring to his own past.  There is no reference to crime prevention on their website, judge for yourself.

BRABIN SLAMMED BY MUSLIM HOST

Labour's Tracy Brabin has been accused of snubbing the Muslim community in West Yorkshire after she pulled out of a mayoral hustings.  Brabin is standing as Labour's candidate for the new post of West Yorkshire regional mayor.  On Wednesday she was due to take part in a debate on the British Muslim TV channel, but after the event was moved from Wakefield to Bradford, she pulled out at the last minute.  Compared to Wakefield, Bradford is just over a mile further away from Brabin's native Batley.  The host of the event, Mohammed Shafiq, was clearly incensed and let rip on Twitter.

A spokesperson for British Muslim TV said that all five participants were emailed about the change of venue 24 hours prior to the event.  However, a spokesperson for Brabin claimed that the venue was changed 'at the last minute'.  Clearly rattled, the spokesperson told YorkshireLive: "Mr Shafiq’s claims are a complete misrepresentation of the truth.  Tracy was happy to attend.  However, British Muslim TV’s last minute changes to the venue, format and timings due to 'health and safety risks' - and a reluctance to confirm the new venue would be Covid secure - meant Tracy was unable to attend in person.  Tracy offered to attend by video -  as she has with many other media and community events - and was very disappointed that they couldn’t accommodate this".

Despite the setback, Brabin can be fairly certain of victory in May.  The West Yorkshire region is mostly Labour territory and includes the solid Labour cities of Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield.  However, what will certainly rile some activists is the fact that she is already an MP and - like Dan 'Two Jobs' Jarvis in neighbouring South Yorkshire - she has no intention of standing down from Westminster.

At a time of mass unemployment, the fact that after May there could be two Labour MPs also operating as regional mayors is nothing short of a disgrace.  In addition to his basic £81,932 salary as an MP, Jarvis picks up an additional £79,000 as the Mayor of the Sheffield City Region.  Those figures do not include allowances and expenses.  If Brabin becomes Mayor of West Yorkshire she will earn a whopping £105,000 salary in addition to her MP's salary.

Labour's woke metropolitan MPs have long forsaken the working classes and are now only interested in making as much money as possible.  Shameful.

NAZ SHAH'S VE DAY NAZI PIC

In a story completely overlooked by the mainstream media, the MP for Bradford West was involved in a humiliating gaffe last Friday.  In her VE Day tribute Naz Shah wanted so desperately to include the Asian contribution to the Allied war effort that she included a picture of soldiers from the Indian Legion.  Unfortunately for Naz, the Indian Legion was a military unit that fought for Germany!

Indische Legion (German) was formed from an allegiance between the Nazis and pro-independence Indians who intended to fight British rule.  The legion saw action in Europe and in 1944 was transferred from the jurisdiction of the German Army to the Waffen-SS.

As you can see from the enlarged photo below, the uniforms are clearly not British.

Shah deleted the tweet once her gaffe had been pointed out by several Twitter users.  She later tweeted the same message again, but replaced the SS photo with one showing the Queen Mother inspecting British Indian troops.  Shah's re-composed tweet can be seen below or here.

Thanks to Steve Ward for bringing this story to our attention.

NAZ SHAH ASKS FOR IT

The odious member for Bradford West asked Twitter on Thursday whether the government had a "moral conscience".  Naz was referring to Labour's defeat over unaccompanied child migrants.  This is an issue that has had Labour MPs up in arms in recent weeks, while at the same time deafeningly silent over the mass rape of our own children by grooming gangs.  The hypocrisy and betrayal hasn't gone unnoticed, but even amid the depths of scum and villainy of the modern Labour party - Naz Shah stands out.

They say the internet never forgets, well going by the responses to Naz's tweet yesterday - neither have a lot of people.  After-all, wasn't it a bit rich for her to be taking the moral high ground...

BRADFORD GROOMING GANG SENTENCED

Another grooming gang convicted today, this time in Bradford.  Nine men, pictured above, with names like Mohammed, Ali and Saeed.  Imagine our surprise?  To be fair, one of them was called 'Kieran Harris', but if you can tell him apart from the rest you'll have done well.

Bradford City Council responded...

"The Safeguarding Board will look closely at this case to see if there are any lessons we can learn that could help us keep young people safer".

Bradford City Council spokesperson

Of course it goes without saying that the council is run by Labour, so empty words then.  Funny how they're always Labour councils where these gangs operate isn't it?

The convicted men are as follows...

Basharat Khaliq, 38, guilty of five counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration, jailed for 20 years
Saeed Akhtar, 55, guilty of two counts of inciting child prostitution and one count of rape, jailed for 20 years
Naveed Akhtar, 43, guilty of two counts of rape and cleared of one count of rape, jailed for 17 years
Kieran Harris, 28, guilty of two counts of rape, jailed for 17 years
Mohammed Usman, 31, guilty of two counts of rape, jailed for 17 years
Parvaze Ahmed, 36, guilty of three counts of rape, jailed for 17 years
Izar Hussain, 32, guilty of one count of rape, one count of attempted rape and cleared of two counts of rape, jailed for 16 years
Faheem Iqbal, 27, guilty of one count of aiding and abetting rape, jailed for seven years
Zeeshan Ali, 32, guilty of one count of sexual assault, jailed for 18 months

A tenth man, Yasar Majid, was cleared of rape.
