Karl has added a fourth design for the 'Diversity is Strength' series.  This new one, featuring Sadiq Khan, will be deployed for the capital.  It appears that the Golders Green attack was a homegrown Islamist attack after-all, not an Iranian attack as many had proposed in the comments the previous week.  There are far too many who believe the propaganda about 'Iranian sleeper cells'.  If there are so many, what are they waiting for?

SILLY LILY

It's a beautiful thing to watch the left eat the left and that's exactly what has happened to lefty luvvie narcissist Lily Cole after a daft Instagram post in which she posed in a burqa.  Coming just as Afghanistan fell to the Taliban, her timing was impeccable.  She posted two pictures, one with the veil down and one with it up, under the guise of promoting her new book Who Cares Wins: Reasons For Optimism in Our Changing World.

Her accompanying caption read: "Let's embrace diversity on every level".  What next Lily?  Are you going to black up too?  For someone who supposedly embraces the left, this is a hapless display of naivety.

In addition to howls of cultural appropriation, feminists raged over Lily's insensitive timing.  Times columnist Janice Turner was particularly scathing...

Cole has since apologised and claimed that she hadn't read the news at the time she posted.  Good grief, that's lame.  She has also been criticised over an interview in which she says she now identifies as 'queer' ie. someone who is not straight.  Just to be clear, Lily lives with her husband - a man.  It's probably news to him, too.

All this is presumably meant to boost her book sales.  Good grief, she really is lame.

LAMMY DEFENDS ADELE

Professional race baiter Dave Lammy has unexpectedly sprung to the defence of a white woman accused of 'cultural appropriation'.  The bizarre turnaround is probably not quite as groundbreaking as it seems as the woman in question shares much in common with Lammy.  They were both raised in Tottenham by single mothers and both have both done rather well for themselves in adulthood.

Of course it's highly doubtful that Adele would use terms such as 'poppycock' and 'humbug'.  It's equally doubtful that if she were from the shires of England rather than his own backyard, Lammy would not be as forgiving.

CANCEL CULTURE SPREADS

The cancel culture unleashed by Black Lives Matter and their media backers has now spread beyond statues and TV comedy.  The Rugby Football Union is planning a review on whether to ban the popular terrace anthem Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and Uncle Ben's rice is to remove the black farmer from its famous logo.

Once again the BLM Marxist trend is following a similar pattern to the US.  Earlier this week it was revealed that the US-based Aunt Jemima syrup brand would be removing the black lady from its logo and changing its name.  The brand has maintained its name and logo for 130 years, but now suddenly its origins are deemed too offensive.

Trevor Phillips, the former head of the Commission for Racial Equality, lashed out at the RFU's decision to review Swing Low, Sweet Chariot...

While the mainstream media has ignored such views, and the understandable anger of England rugby fans, they have been very busy this morning talking up a supporter of the review - former England rugby player Martin Offiah.  However, Offiah is not supporting a ban, as the following interview with TalkRadio's Julia Hartley-Brewer shows.

The mainstream media is once again supporting the Marxist culture zealots, but unlike the censorship of TV shows and products such as Uncle Ben's - which is out of the control of consumers - the RFU will be hard pushed to stop tens of thousands of England supporters singing an anthem they have belted out for decades.  We have seen sporting capitulation on football pitches this week with 'taking the knee' before games in scenes reminiscent of Nazi Germany, something that the FA has been able to introduce without embarrassment as there are no fans present to make their feelings known.  However, the re-introduction of fans to the sporting arena could throw a spanner in the works and it will be interesting to see how the authorities will drown out dissenting voices.

JAZZ MEMES FOR THE DAY

Regarding the 'jazz hands' fiasco, this meme simply had to be done.  It was in the pipeline before we spotted Jeremy Vine's tweet along a similar line (he's now deleted it).  Ours will remain.

Furthermore, regarding 'jazz hands', the gesture itself conjures up memories of black and white minstrels, in particular Al Jolson.  Those leftie hypocrites at Manchester Uni have probably never heard of him to be fair.  Further excellent commentary on this issue can be heard via this YouTube video.

We also noted that the curious and rather eccentric behaviour of our Prime Minister today may well have been an attempt to mock the morons...

A late entry in the Dawn Butler vs Jamie Oliver "cultural appropriation" nonsense.

Labour MPs last week were keen to tweet their virtue signals to the faithful, particularly those in towns and cities now dominated by the faithful.  If you live in those areas and are involved in electioneering you will almost certainly have come across the saying: "Even dead Muslims vote Labour".  It's absolutely spot on, postal fraud is at its strongest in these areas and they can swing elections at interface areas ie. wards or constituencies that cross into non-Muslim areas.  No wonder Labour is pandering to the every whim of this community, including turning a blind eye both to Muslim grooming gangs and the anti-Semitism within their own ranks.

It was widely reported today that Jewish Labour MPs are being offered bodyguards at next month's Labour Party conference.  Regardless of whether the likes of Berger and Smeeth go through with this, that it is being discussed is a clear sign that Labour is almost beyond repair on this issue.  Corbyn doesn't care, for him and his ilk the opinions of a few hundred thousand Jewish voters are easily eclipsed and outweighed by millions of Muslim voters who adore his anti-Semitism.
