VINE SLAMS WALLPAPER STUNT

Labour moderate Alison McGovern has been grilled by Jeremy Vine over Labour's election disaster.  In somewhat uncharacteristically aggressive mode, Vine lambasted Starmer's 'pathetic' wallpaper stunt.  

Vine began by asking her the deliberately provocative question of whether Labour should invite Jeremy Corbyn back to the leadership.  McGovern was very careful not to criticise Corbyn, unlike some of her comrades, in particular Peter Mandelson who was scathing about Corbyn earlier today.

VINE TROLLED BY TALKRADIO HOST

TalkRadio's Mike Graham served up one of his most damning tweets for the Beeb's Jeremy Vine earlier this week.  Vine tweeted asking if anyone could provide him with 'good news' to share and Graham cheekily replied that TalkRadio had been named 'station of the year'.

"Epic trolling" commented one Twitter user.  Indeed, and no riposte from Vine.

Unlike Radio 2 and the rest of the BBC propaganda machine, TalkRadio and its array of excellent hosts provides an open debate and plethora of views.  Lockdown criticism is not banned on TalkRadio and the likes of Mike Graham and Julia Hartley-Brewer regularly give airtime to sceptics - unlike the heavily censored broadcasters of the mainstream media.

Long live the Independent Republic of Mike Graham.

OWEN'S CLEANER HYPOCRISY

One of the most recent mini-crusades of Owen Jones was attacking the bourgeoisie over continuing to employ cleaners during the coronacrisis.  Here are a couple of his tweets from last week.

The wee lad appeared on Jeremy Vine's Channel 5 show earlier this week to give further airtime to his cause, but was clearly not expecting a gotcha question from the host.  Vine asks Jones if he employs a cleaner himself and lo and behold it turns out that our working class hero does!  Watch below as his little smug face drops in horror as Vine delivers the damning question.

Note that Owen says he and his housemates have been paying their cleaner £50 a week during the pandemic so they're "not out of pocket".  However, this may well contradict his earlier assessment that professionals should be paying cleaners "wages as normal and letting them stay at home".  Owen says his cleaner is paid £20 per hour, so are we supposed to believe that his multiple occupancy takes just two and a half hours to clean per week?

Funnily enough Owen isn't the only socialist to have exposed himself to home help hypocrisy this week...

LAMMY'S TRIBES HYPOCRISY

One can surmise from its title and its author that Tribes is 352 pages of race baiting and poisonous identity politics.  Despite his Christian faith, Lammy opens with a quote from the Koran.  He then goes on to detail a DNA test he took and the journey that its results took him on.  It's far too tedious to list his DNA traits, but he's basically a 95 per cent mix of various African tribes and 5 per cent Scottish.  The rest of the book is part-biography and part-blueprint for a multicultural Britain.

The main problem with Dave's proposal is that it's doomed to fail. The huge chip on his shoulder that weighs so heavily on his thought process is self-defeating.  Multiculturalism has been widely discredited and rejected, but Lammy is clinging to it all the same, reminiscent of the Corbynistas who worship Marx despite every single implementation of his ideology resulting in death and misery.  It's no surprise that Dave is one of the few remaining exponents of multiculturalism.  One of his proudest achievements to date is his five years as a minister under the Blair/Brown governments.  Multiculturalism was a product of New Labour and Dave is very much a product of New Labour.

He's also torn as an individual.  That big chip weighing him down won't allow him to fully embrace a British identity.  His dedication to his ethnic identity always supercedes his civic identity.  The historical ills against 'his people' drive his intolerance towards native Britons and yet he married one.  No wonder he's confused.

In his book he quotes the Jamaican activist Marcus Garvey: "A people without knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without a roots".  Therefore it's acceptable for Lammy to champion his ethnic roots.  However, in the very same book he writes: "As long as British history is viewed through the lens of a white past opposed to a multicultural present, we risk perpetuating feelings of loss among segments of the population.  National pride will mean so much more if it’s accompanied by appropriate recognition of national shame".  So if it's OK for Lammy to embrace his ethnic roots, why is it unacceptable for native Britons to embrace theirs?  Why does history have to conflict with the present?  Lammy is as guilty of this combative attitude than anyone else.  He just can't see it because like most politicians, he is always in the right.

VINE DEFENDS SARKAR

Corbynista and unabashed commie Ash Sarkar has been taking some flak this weekend over a video clip in which she appears to mock the ethnic replacement of Londoners.  The clip was taken from an old Novara Media video from 2016 in which Sarkar argues that the views of Professor Ted Cantle are racist.  Cantle is opposed to identity politics and the failed and divisive multi-culturalism favoured by the left, so naturally having expressed views that differ from the left he must therefore be a racist.

The crucial "yes lads, we're winning" point in the video can be seen below.

Her attempt at flippancy is cringeworthy at best, naive and inflammatory at worst.  Taken out of context it has created a storm on Twitter and 'poor Ash' has been fending off criticism all day.  One of her many defensive tweets bemoaned her predicament and reaffirmed her belief that anyone who expresses concern at the rapidly changing demographics in our towns and cities is a racist.  Cue an unlikely ally...

"Just banter" says the TV and radio presenter.  Note also that Vine's tweet is 'liked' by that other race-baiting lefty Yasmin Alibhai-Brown.  Sarkar later responds to Vine directly saying: "Really appreciate this, thank you!"  Next time you're wondering about where Jeremy's political loyalties lie, remember his defence of the race-baiting communist Ash Sarkar.

VINE MOCKS VERHOFTWAT

Brussels megalomaniac Guy Verhofstadt came under fire yesterday from an unexpected quarter.  BBC snowflake Jeremy Vine happened upon a video of Verhoftwat ranting and raving about his hopes for a centralised single European state - similar to what Hitler aspired to.  These people are seriously dangerous.  Vine was not impressed either.

BEEB RUBBISHES SOROS CRITICS

The subject of George Soros was 'debated' on Jeremy Vine's Radio 2 programme this lunchtime.  We say 'debated', but what actually happened was so totally one-sided there was no debate at all.  Left-wing journalist David Aaronovitch was in the studio to vent how everything bad that is mooted about the shadowy billionaire is just a mix of conjecture, conspiracy theory, anti-Semitism and downright lies.  Small credit to Jeremy Vine who interjected at one point to let it be known that one of the many recipients of George's billions over the years has been Aaronovitch's own organisation.  So, exactly how 'impartial' is your correspondent?

Normally on Vine's show, what follows an opening monologue is a balanced debate where callers of opposing views voice their opinions.  However, today what happened was a series of comments were read out and several calls were taken - all of which defended Soros!  George couldn't have written it better himself, so much for dispelling those conspiracy theories beeb!!

TWIT OF THE WEEK

Ban the use of the term 'drivetime' because it is offensive and somehow celebrates a weapon of mass destruction?  Jeremy Vine is entitled to his views, just as we're entitled to mock them.  This one demonstrates snowflakery of the highest order, despite the fact Jeremy was born long before the dawn of millennials.

Many of us are related to or know victims of road traffic accidents, but does anyone actually manage to link it to the name of a popular radio show?  Other than Jeremy Vine, of course.  It's absurd.  By this same twisted liberal logic we must also surely ban bonfire night - as fire has killed millions over the course of human history!  And forget about carving that turkey this Christmas, don't you know knives have killed people too?  So inconsiderate to the victims of knife crime!

Oh, just fuck off.

SAFE SPACES AND JAZZ HANDS

Yet another symptom of the politically correct cancer pervading our education system was exposed to ridicule yesterday when it emerged that the students' union at Manchester University had outlawed 'clapping' aka applause.  Students would now be required to deploy sign language, otherwise known as 'jazz hands', so that sudden outbreaks of noise didn't cause anyone anxiety.  PC buzz words were rolled out in defence of the plan - it would create an "environment of respect" they said, it would make proceedings more "inclusive".  It sounds a lot like the 'safe space' policies that have been adopted in various places of further education (and some liberal workplaces), whereby individuals can retreat to a designated area in order to escape opinions they don't agree with - oops, sorry - an area that is "welcoming", "inclusive", "tolerant" and "supportive".

Bollocks.

As Jeremy Vine rightly pointed out on his Twitter feed yesterday (pictured below) - it's a good job the young men of 100 years ago weren't so fragile when they were sent off into the carnage of the Western Front.  It was a rare and cutting quip from Vine, but you'll be hard pushed to find that tweet now as he's since deleted it.  Radio 2 listeners will be familiar with the touchy feely approach from Vine, so perhaps it was no great surprise that snowflakery got the better of him.

When Jeremy featured the issue on his radio show today he was actually very sympathetic towards the student rep advocating the 'Jazz Hands' notion.  This limp-wristed larry was immediately followed by an altogether more abrasive guest who argued that such ideas were borne from a desire to treat students as if they were toddlers.  Larry must have been wishing for a safe space there and then!  Yet that is exactly the point isn't it?  It's a sorry world indeed in which society is churning out young adults that can't handle an opinion that differs from their own, who burst into tears when someone slates Corbyn or run around in circles screaming when something mildly provocative occurs in front of them (Heaven forbid actual violence).  In 2016 the students' union at Edinburgh University tried to eject a member from a 'safe space' because she waved her arms, thus violating a rule outlawing 'gestures of disagreement'.  The mind boggles.

If society was to break down and descend into chaos (as it will do this March according to Alastair Campbell, Tony Blair, Ki££ock and co), these people will surely be the first to perish.  Their supposed (very questionable) intellect won't save them, they can't even handle opinions and applause, let along someone coming at them with a big stick.  They would soon wither and die from a diet of grass and leaves because they can't bring themselves to kill for meat.  A pampered pooch wants for nothing, until he has nothing.  Then he is of no use to anyone.

Make no mistake, this leftist pandering to every wild whim of every minority, no matter how small, is not behaviour that should be encouraged and nurtured, it should be stamped out.

PS. Kudos to the BBC reporter who raised a very valid point and stumped the Manchester students' rep today.  Regarding the jazz hands proposal he asked "What about blind people?"  Think about it.
