TEARS OF A SNOWFLAKE

Remember the old adage of 'sticks and stones'?  It was a children's rhyme, intended to boost the self-esteem and resilience of youngsters against name-calling.  At the tender age of 27, Labour's Zarah Sultana should perhaps recall the rhyme more freshly than most, but not it seems, according to her emotional appearance at a parliamentary debate on Thursday.

The debate was held in order to discuss a definition of Islamophobia created by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims.  The MPs are calling for the government to adopt the definition and make it legally binding, therefore paving the way to criminalising criticism of Islam.

During her speech, Sultana highlighted various insults that had been directed her way since she was elected in 2019.  It was all too much for the lass, as she broke down several times and sniffled throughout.  Her colleagues Imran Hussain, Khalid Mahmood and Naz Shah sat nearby, but did not appear to comfort the poor girl.  Perhaps Zarah would be well advised to go and visit some of the places she referenced in her speech and experience real suffering, as opposed to her affluent and pampered lifestyle in the liberal West, which has clearly turned her into an emotional wreck.

You can see Zarah's tearful performance below.

MOST SHARED: WEEK 285

Persistent outbreaks of Covid-19 at university campuses across the country are no great surprise given the sight of students partying the night away in mass gatherings.  The resulting lockdowns, self isolation and suggestion that they may have to forego a traditional family Christmas has led to much 'trauma'.  Naturally, it's not their fault.  The government is to blame, obviously.

This inability to accept personal responsibility and decry the consequences of their actions as some great hardship is peak snowflakery.  The meme below summed this up perfectly and was shared 5,919 times via the Facebook page.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS OUT OF THE PRAM

Labour remoaners have been expressing their disgust at Labour's second referendum fudge.  The snowflakes have been chopping up their membership cards and tweeting their outrage.  A fine selection of the latest rattle-throwing exercise can be found below.

REMOANER ASKS MAY FOR BREXIT DELAY

Labour MP Anna McMorrin tabled a rather pathetic question for Prime Minister's Questions today.  The member for Cardiff North timidly pointed out that her daughter's birthday is on the 29th of March and asked the PM if she would delay Brexit as a "birthday present".  Top snowflakery and remoaning!  Watch below...

TWIT OF THE WEEK

Ban the use of the term 'drivetime' because it is offensive and somehow celebrates a weapon of mass destruction?  Jeremy Vine is entitled to his views, just as we're entitled to mock them.  This one demonstrates snowflakery of the highest order, despite the fact Jeremy was born long before the dawn of millennials.

Many of us are related to or know victims of road traffic accidents, but does anyone actually manage to link it to the name of a popular radio show?  Other than Jeremy Vine, of course.  It's absurd.  By this same twisted liberal logic we must also surely ban bonfire night - as fire has killed millions over the course of human history!  And forget about carving that turkey this Christmas, don't you know knives have killed people too?  So inconsiderate to the victims of knife crime!

Oh, just fuck off.
