CORBYN ATTACKS 'INSIPID' STARMER

Happier days

Jeremy Corbyn has refused to say whether Keir Starmer should quit the Labour leadership.  Corbyn was interviewed by Krishnan Guru-Murthy on Friday night and said it was 'up to him [Starmer] what he decides to do'.  Corbyn talked up his own record and party policies, suggesting that his successor had abandoned those policies and had offered 'nothing but insipid support for the government'.

Asked whether he could ever see himself moving back into frontline Labour politics, Corbyn gave a defiant broadside at his ongoing suspension: "I've never left Labour politics, I will always be part of Labour politics and my voice will always be there".  It's clear that Corbyn is still bitter about his treatment at the hands of Starmer.

MUTTON-HEADED LAURA'S CAR CRASH

Following the Queen's Speech frontbencher Laura Pidcock spoke to Channel 4's Krishnan Guru-Murthy and showed viewers that she is in way over her head (like so many of her colleagues).  It wasn't quite as bad as an Abbott or Burgon interview, but she is clearly very inexperienced at this game (despite being persistently spoken up as a future leader).  At times during the interview she appears confused, stalls for time and repeats over and over the same thing - "hypothetical" is a popular word - and says that Labour has "always said that people should have the final say" (on Brexit).  However, she was elected on a manifesto that said Labour accepts the referendum result.  As a further example of her naivety/stupidity she doesn't appear to know what meat is produced from sheep, despite the fact she represents a rural constituency.  Shocking, watch below.

If this is the future leader of the Labour Party, they are in for a long stretch in opposition.

No mention of a second referendum in this 2017 leaflet

REMAIN BITCHFEST

If Corbyn truly believed he could unite the Remainers of Parliament, tonight he will surely be scratching his head in disbelief.  By announcing his intention to lead a caretaker government he unleashed a war of words that looks set to rumble on well into the Parliamentary recess.  Much of the discord revolves around Jo Swinson's outright opposition to Corbyn taking the top job.  Pro-Remain Corbynistas were not not amused and unleashed their usual vitriol, not least little Owen Jones who appeared on Sky News to rattle off a list of 'crimes' carried out by the Lib Dems when they were part of the coalition.  It's no wonder the Lib Dems don't want to share power with them.  All Corbyn's loony left do is pour scorn on anyone who doesn't share their politics, then cry foul when their victims turn on them.  They have made so many enemies in the Commons that some opposition MPs are considering voting with the government rather than back Corbyn.

For her part, Swinson gave this shaky interview to Krishnan Guru-Murthy in which she threw Harriet Harman under the bus and left her at the mercy of the Corbynista keyboard warriors.  Did Harman (and Ken Clarke) really tell her they were prepared to lead a caretaker government?  Harman publicly threw herself behind Corbyn's coup this morning in a tweet.  Swinson doesn't sound too sure about what she is saying...

REDWOOD VS REMAIN TV

John Redwood is the latest Brexiteer to get an ear bashing from the Remain media.  The Tory MP was calling on Theresa May to get us out on April 12th with no deal when Channel 4's Krishnan Guru-Murthy suddenly interjected with an outburst of "cloud cuckoo land!"  The interview went downhill fast after that with Guru-Murthy calling Redwood and the ERG "irrelevant".  When Redwood claimed that polls were showing people in favour of no deal, Guru-Murthy lost the plot completely and just kept repeating the words "not true" over and over again like a stuck record before ending the interview abruptly.  Watch the exchange below.

Now having watched that very unprofessional and almost aggressive interview, contrast and compare with how Guru-Murthy interviewed Heidi Allen of the Independent Group/Change UK.  He did question the polling she quoted, but doesn't jump in straight away and the tone is completely different.  At least Redwood could quote his source (ComRes) whereas Heidi couldn't quote fuck all.

The bias is unreal!
