MORE THAN A 'CRASH' JEZ

Jeremy Corbyn has been heavily criticised over his reaction to the downed Ukrainian plane that was shot down by Iran.  On both his Facebook and Twitter accounts he described the incident as a "plane crash" and although there was a reference to an "appalling act", there was a complete lack of condemnation.  Sound familiar?

It's very much similar to his reaction to the Islamist attacks in London and Manchester in 2017, which he referred to as 'incidents' (as did Diane Abbott).  However, later that year he condemned the attack on Muslim worshippers at Finsbury Park as an "act of terror".  It's not difficult to see where his loyalties lie.

At a speech he gave to an 'anti-war' demonstration in London yesterday he said there "was no excuse for shooting down an airliner and there's no excuse for a targeted assassination either".  As he addressed the assembled mob of leftists he was shadowed by the controversial anti-Semite Salma Yaqoob.  She only joined Labour last year, but inexplicably rose to prominence and is the hard left's preferred candidate for West Midlands mayor in May.

Corbyn wasn't the only Labour figure to express Iranian sympathies yesterday.  The odious member for Huddersfield took the following sideswipe at President Trump.

No-one wants a war with Iran, the left do not own that sentiment.  Their so-called 'anti-war' message is nothing but opportunistic anti-West rhetoric and one-sided condemnation, twisted by anti-Semitism and Islamist sympathies.

CAMPBELL OUTFOXED

Alastair Campbell clashed with the Brexit Party's Claire Fox on the BBC's Politics Live earlier today.  Never one to miss an opportunity to bash Brexit, Campbell bizarrely claimed that our departure from the EU would help to destabilise the Middle East still further.  Shocking arrogance from Campbell, but Fox was swift to point out that the biggest destabilising factor in the region in was the Iraq War.  He laughed off her comments as only a true psychopath could, having contributed to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people with his dodgy Iraq dossier...

THE LEFT'S ANTI-WAR HYPOCRISY

Two Labour frontbenchers addressed 'anti-war' protesters yesterday outside Downing Street.  John McDonnell and Richard Burgon used the leftist rally to attack President Trump and the United States, while ignoring the other side entirely.  Supporters waved Socialist Worker placards that read "Down with imperialism", but their beef is limited to US and Western imperialism - the only crime they can possibly perceive.  Never mind that Iran and its proxies have been whipping up conflict and expanding their influence across the Middle East for decades.  There's currently a proxy war raging in Yemen, but funnily enough there's nothing about that on any of their placards.  Iranian aggression is ignored by the left, just like Islamist terror.

One thing is for sure - if Iran was a white, predominantly Christian nation they wouldn't be so willing to turn a blind eye.

McDonnell and Burgon were joined by the recently unseated Emma Dent-Coad

CORBYN'S ILLUSIONS OF GRANDEUR

Jeremy Corbyn's reaction to the assassination of General Soleimani was predictable as ever.  He tweeted that the UK should "stand up to the belligerent actions and rhetoric coming from the US" and followed this up with a letter to the Prime Minister (see below) demanding an urgent meeting of the Privy Council.  It appears that the Great Leader is stuck in his hard left bubble - one of only two places where he has any importance or political significance whatsoever.  The other is in his own mind.  He just got smashed in the election and most of his seats were lost in the Brexit heartlands.  Yet what do we hear this week?  He has tabled another Brexit-blocking amendment to try and stop us leaving at the end of this month.  In an ideal world this loser would continue in his post and destroy his party for good.  Sadly, a leadership election beckons, albeit containing a field of Brexit blockers.  The future is not bright for Labour.  As they say in Game of Thrones - the North remembers.

CORBYN QUESTIONS ISRAEL'S "RIGHT TO EXIST"

Jeremy Corbyn has been exposed in a newly uncovered interview where he questions Israel's right to exist.  The 2011 piece conducted with Iranian Press TV shows Corbyn discussing what he perceives as a pro-Israeli bias on the BBC.  He name-checks the then director-general of the BBC - Mark Thompson - as someone who "has an agenda".  Thompson's wife is Jewish.

In the video Corbyn says that the BBC displays a bias towards saying that "Israel is a democracy", "Israel has a right to exist" and "Israel has its security concerns".  The mind boggles.  How did this man become the leader of the Labour Party?  The hard left elected him.  How is anti-Semitism rampant in the Labour Party?  The hard left are in control now.

BOZZA TAKES DOWN JEZZA

As Boris Johnson made his debut as PM in the Commons, as predicted it was a car crash for Corbyn.  Johnson ridiculed Jezza over his flip-flopping Brexit stance and also took a swipe at his support for Iran.  Corbyn came back labelling Boris 'Britain's Trump', presumably an insult he'd read in this morning's Guardian.  Pathetic.

New Conservative Chairman James Cleverly summed up the faces on the opposition benches by way of emojis...

LATEST BURGON CAR CRASH

The Shadow Justice Secretary was interviewed by Sophy Ridge yesterday in yet another car crash interview.  It started off excruciatingly as Dickie broke into a broad smile greeting his interviewer who promptly spoke over him and his face dropped like a lead balloon.  He then goes on to talk about the Gulf crisis, getting in a couple of customary digs at Donald Trump before he is asked about the dodgy candidate Labour is putting up against Boris in Uxbridge.  The interview ends dreadfully with an exchange in which Dickie attempts to get the better of Ridge and comes off looking like the second rate politician he is.  Check out Sophy's steely glare on 7:46 as she responds to him and leaves the poor lad dumbfounded.  Why even bother trying it sunshine?  You're a loser.

Watch the full interview below.

CORBYN BACKS IRAN (SHOCK)

Predictable as ever, Corbyn comes out in support of Iran over the tanker bombings.

His capacity for supporting our enemies every single time is quite something, perhaps best summed up by the response of the Foreign Secretary...
