The penultimate edition of The Month in Cartoons is here. There's midterm action, Ron versus Don, Hancock Down Under, a political World Cup, COP27 scammers, the G20 minus Putin, industrial action galore, an austerity budget, bad news for Wee Nippie, anti-lockdown protests in China and much, much more.
The December edition of The Month in Cartoons will be our last. Richey will release a video in the next week or two to explain the reasoning and what, if anything, will replace it.
Meanwhile, here are a selection of toons that didn't make the cut in November.
October was a crazy month, mostly thanks to the shenanigans at the top of the Conservatives. There were also plenty of comical antics courtesy of Joe Biden, with other less slapstick contributions coming from Ukraine, Russia, China and Iran. The 'died suddenly' pandemic is also explored in this month's compilation.
Our latest compilation of political cartoons covers the election of Liz Truss, the ensuing media campaign against her economic policies, the Labour conference, the death of Gorbachev, Biden's divisive quasi-fascist speech, some cheeky Republican governors, the rise of Meloni, the cost of lockdown crisis, the fallacy of electric cars, nuclear scaremongering, Putin on the back foot, Iran protests and, of course, the death of Her Majesty the Queen and the ascension of King Charles.
August was dominated by the never-ending Tory leadership contest, with just those two politicians being the only MPs who were not on holiday. The government was AWOL as Brits reeled from the news that energy bills would surge by 80 per cent on October 1. In other toon action were the warmongering Democrats on a mission to poke the Chinese dragon and the Federal Stasi Bureau of Investigation raiding Mar-a-Lago - while the Clintons, Epstein's clients and Hunter 'crack-pipe' Biden remained unhindered.
Also featured: the inflation-raising Inflation Reduction Act, bugs for tea, Afghan women, Satanic Verses, the climate scam, a drone strike, the leader of no opposition, the last leader of the USSR, inflation, inflation and more inflation...
As you might expect, much of last month's edition is taken up by Johnson's demise and the various campaigns to succeed him. However, there is much more to get through - including the 'woke intermission', Starmer's union troubles, the Dutch uprising, Hunter's latest debauched antics, the heatwave, the climate scam, the 'liberal world order', Sleepy Joe's repeat Covid, jabs for babies and more!
With news interest in the Ukraine war on the wane, May was an extremely varied month for topics. There were the local elections, Beergate, Queen's Speech, Sue Gray report, US Ministry of Truth, monkeypox, WHO treaty, new NATO applicants, the Davos gathering and rising inflation to name a few - all chronicled in our latest compilation of the best political cartoons...
Another action-packed month featuring Boris Johnson, Rishi Sunak, Priti Patel, Macron vs Le Pen, Putin vs the West, Partygate, Porngate, Woke Disney, Elon Musk, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton and many more - including a wooden plank called Sir Keir.
The latest edition of the Month in Cartoons is understandably loaded with Russia and Ukraine, but it was a busy month and there's plenty more crammed into this 24 minute compilation - including Pfizergate, P&O, pump price records, trans nonsense, Rishi's mini-budget, Johnson's Saudi adventure, the Oscars slap and much more.
Last month Partygate and Covid gave way to Russia and Ukraine. The latest installment of the Month in Cartoons showcases the best political cartoons from February.
A new look Month in Cartoons lands a little late this month for various reasons that hopefully won't be repeated. A new section 'Woke Intermission' has been added to cover general leftist developments that don't fit in elsewhere. At 19 minutes and 51 seconds it's the longest ever MiC and gets in a wide range of January's stories, from Partygate and the Ukraine situation to the Djokovic saga and Keir Starmer's embrace of the Union flag.
Later than usual due to the Christmas break, the latest edition of the Month in Cartoons features new lows for Johnson, bad news for Starmer, two by-elections, Omicron scare-mongering and the introduction of Plan B. Click below or watch on our YouTube channel.
November was the month that COP26 drew to an end, migrants sunk in the Channel, a tennis star went missing, a new Covid variant arrived and the PM lurched from one disaster to another. Look away if you're a Boris fan. Cartoonists were not kind to the PM in November...
At just over 14 minutes long the September edition of the Month in Cartoons is the longest yet. Unlike the previous edition there is plenty of Labour action thanks to the party conference.
A bit later than usual this month due to holidays. August was choc-a-block with cartoons on Afghanistan, but there were plenty of other topics on offer including never-ending jabs, vaccine mandates, more travel confusion, the green agenda, pit closures, a shortage of lorry drivers and the various escapades of ministerial trio of Rishi, Raab and Gove.
In our seventh cartoon compilation we uncover the damp squib of 'Freedom Day', Johnson and co self-isolating, the 100th birthday of the CCP and Keir Starmer clinging on to his leadership following the Batley and Spen by-election Watch below for those things and much more...
This month's edition is packed with lockdown and sporting references. 'Freedom Day' is cancelled by the Tories and their SAGE masters, the Indian variant becomes the 'Delta variant', Hancock comes unstuck, Portugal goes amber, the G7 meet, the green left-wing agenda continues, footballers continue their kneeling nonsense, 'women' born men do weightlifting, the Tories lose a by-election and there is a baby named Lilibet Netflix Oprah Spotify Markles-Windsor.
