KHAN'S FAKE FOLLOWING

Do 3.2 million people really follow London mayor Sadiq Khan on Twitter?  We highly doubt it.  Read on...

With Elon Musk's Twitter takeover on hold, attention has been drawn to the world of Twitter bots and fake accounts.  Musk says the hold-up revolves around Twitter's claim that less than five per cent of Twitter profiles are fake.  Musk says the figure is more likely to be around 20 per cent and there is lots of evidence to back him up.  On Wednesday several news outlets - including the New York Times and Daily Mail - reported on an audit that had been carried out on popular Twitter profiles.

The auditors found that of Joe Biden's 22 million followers, a whopping 49 per cent were fake accounts.  The same audit also found that of Musk's 94 million followers an even greater figure of 73 per cent were fake.

Another indicator of the proliferation of fake accounts can be seen in the level of audience engagement with some supposedly popular accounts.  The aforementioned New York Times has 53 million followers listed on its profile, yet its posts rarely garner more than 100 comments.  BBC News has several accounts.  Its UK profile has almost 14 million followers, yet some of the stories it posted on Wednesday received less than ten comments and as little as a dozen retweets.  Its World profile has more than twice the followers - over 36 million - but that does not show in the engagement it receives.  

Perhaps one of the most stark differences between followers and engagement can be seen over at Time Magazine's account.  Despite its supposedly 19 million following, Time can receive as little as zero comments on its material.

Sadiq Khan has two accounts on Twitter.  The one pictured above is the larger of the two, but he also has another with 1.1 million followers listed.  It was from the latter account that he tweeted an article he'd written for The Independent earlier this week, in which he bemoans a 'surge in far right terrorism'.  The tweet attracted much more interest than his usual couple of dozen replies - more than 500 in fact.  However, despite supposedly having a million followers, the comments were overwhelmingly negative towards the mayor.  Many reminded Khan of his previous 'part and parcel' remark with regards to terrorism, while others noted that Islamist terrorism was a far greater threat.  Some objected to his silence on the far left terrorists of BLM and Antifa, while others pointed out that he should be focusing on rampant criminality in London.  One of the latter tweets came from Reclaim's Martin Daubney, previously a Brexit Party MEP.

The reaction to Daubney's tweet highlighted the absurdity of Twitter's claim that just five per cent of Twitter users are fake accounts.  Whereas Khan had received 215 likes for his initial tweet - Daubney received more than 1,600 for his reply.  Logic dictates surely therefore, that Daubney must have millions of followers himself.  No, he has less than 112,000 compared to Khan's 1.1 million.

It could be argued that Daubney's response had been retweeted four and a half times as many as Khan's initial tweet and therefore garnered a larger audience, but that still doesn't add up.

Khan, it seems, is followed by a lot fewer people than Twitter suggests.  The game is up and thanks to Musk everyone knows it.  It's time for the tech giant to give up the game and give free speech a chance.

FOX TROLLS THE COVID TROLLS

Much to the delight of lefty Covid bedwetters everywhere, Reclaim's Laurence Fox has contracted the Wuhan virus.  Unfortunately for the haters, Fox has almost fully recovered after just three days and has been rubbing their noses in it on Twitter.  The vaccine critic delivered a typically deadpan rebuke in a live video (see below).

Fox has since confirmed that in addition to Panadol and 'hot toddies', he is taking Ivermectin.  The mere utterance of Ivermectin has inevitably led to accusations he is taking 'horse de-wormer', as happened to US talk show host Joe Rogan last year.  Rogan had actually been prescribed Ivermectin by his doctor, as have millions of people around the world for several decades.  Fox says he bought his dose 'over the counter' during a holiday in Mexico last year.

The establishment is so obsessed with Covid vaccination that any suggestion of a treatment is ridiculed.  Even the proven benefits of vitamin C, D and zinc have not been promoted during the pandemic.  Meanwhile, there were another four medical emergencies at football matches over the weekend, including the death of a Fulham fan.  This is not normal.

FOX'S TOP TEN COVID CUN...

It's fair to say that the Reclaim Party have got off to a slow start.  They've spent thousands on election deposits and lost every penny.  How long it will be before Laurence Fox bores of his new career is anyone's guess, but one thing is for sure - he will not fail to entertain along the way.  Here is a man who does not take himself seriously, which is perhaps a view shared by the electorate - albeit such an attribute did not stop the current Prime Minister from reaching the very top.

Fox and his deputy Martin Daubney (ex-Brexit Party MEP) are worth a follow on Twitter.  In an age of mass psychosis and tyranny it is essential that we rally around voices who speak up for freedom - whether that be Tory backbenchers, irreverent former actors or libertarian GB News presenters.  We are in this together and together we are always stronger.

TOGETHER DECLARATION

BTLP are fully behind the #Together declaration against the imposition of domestic vaccine passports.  What was dismissed as a 'conspiracy theory' at the turn of the year is now perilously close to reality after this despotic government reversed all its previous assurances that such a measure would never happen in the UK.  Vaccine uptake in this country is among the most extensive in the world and in any case, we now know that Covid vaccines do not prevent the spread of the virus anyway.  So what is this all about if not about some form of social control?

It is also becoming clear that the vaccinated will be required to take regular booster shots, so does that mean that in future their vaccine passports will expire like an MOT or an insurance policy?  Will liberty hang on an annual booster shot?  What next?  Are we heading towards a social credit system of total state control, like in China?  Sorry, but didn't the British people reject communism at the 2019 general election?  What happened to our libertarian Prime Minister who once declared that he would destroy any ID card foisted on him by the Brown government?

These are very serious questions with very serious implications for the future of our country.

The leading light of the Together declaration is Alan D Miller, a London-based businessman who represents several organisations including the Night Time Industries Association.  He chaired the launch of the declaration on Wednesday and spoke alongside Laura Dodsworth (author of A State of Fear), consultant surgeon Dr Anthony Hinton, TV presenter Tonia Buxton, barrister Francis Hoar, entrepreneur Dan Astin-Gregory, Anglican priest Rev Jamie Franklin and restaurateur Alex Proud.

Martin Daubney also spoke briefly at the event.  After months of being seen in the shadow of Laurence Fox, the former Brexit Party MEP has now officially been unveiled as Fox's deputy leader.  Both Reclaim and Reform UK have backed the declaration, as has David Kurten's Heritage Party.

Needless to say, the pro-lockdown media gave the declaration a wide berth.  Thankfully, it did feature on GB News, a media outlet that has been a Godsend for rational and uncensored debate in the last few months.  Alan Miller appeared on Dewbs and Co on Wednesday and there was unanimous opposition to vaccine passports on the panel (watch below).

We the undersigned reject vaccine passports or any similar form of medical certification in the United Kingdom and invite you to add your voice to ours by signing this open letter.

Together, we represent more than 100 organisations, business groups, campaigners and professionals who have come together because we are gravely concerned about where the introduction of vaccine passports could lead.

In the UK, we enjoy many hard-won liberties and rights, all fought for and defended by our ancestors. These rights are not only fundamental to our understanding of democracy, they are rights we believe all humans should have.

Some of us are lucky enough to have been born with these rights, but others have experienced the perils of segregation, suppression, and surveillance first hand.

However with vaccine passports in the picture and digital IDs under consideration, some of our hard-won rights are now under serious threat.

We have already come together and made incredible sacrifices throughout the Covid-19 crisis. What began with ‘three weeks to flatten the curve’ turned into months of isolation with millions missing out on medical treatment, children deprived of education, businesses and livelihoods lost, families unable to visit elderly loved ones, and weddings, funerals, and social gatherings restricted or cancelled.

The glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel — ‘15 million jabs to freedom’ to protect the most vulnerable — soon faded as the goalposts kept on moving. When ‘freedom day’ finally arrived, the accompanying announcement of vaccine passports meant the prospect of returning to ‘normal' had once again slipped away.

We are human. We know this makes us seek safety above everything else. We seek it for ourselves, we seek to protect those we love, and we strive for a safe world for our children — and sometimes rules and restrictions can help us to feel safer.

But we also know life is about balance and catching ourselves when we go too far in response to our own fear.

Being ordered to produce medical certification at pubs, clubs, theatres, on public transport, at schools, universities, or anywhere else, is unwarranted and risks deepening the inequalities already present within our society.

Today it could be a vaccine passport to enter a pub, but what could it be tomorrow?

We can already see from where these measures have been introduced elsewhere in the world that they lead to many a free society would wish to avoid. Among the consequences are segregation, suppression and surveillance, being unable to dine together, long queues to enter venues, children barred from taking exams or socialising, and the nightmare scenario of being denied access to healthcare

We want a free, fair and open society for ourselves, our friends and our families. We want to eat, work, dance, and pray together. We want our children to be able to play, learn and grow together.

This is therefore the moment when we must catch ourselves, when we recognise we are going too far by requiring medical certification just to participate in normal life.

Now it is our turn to protect the freedoms our forebears sacrificed so much to protect - for ourselves, for our children and for our communities. Now is the time to say ‘no’ to any mandate requiring permission to participate in everyday life.

SATURDAY SUPERSTARS

A well shared photo over the weekend saw Laurence Fox head a superb line-up to trigger any leftist. The Fox was joined by his Reclaim colleague Calvin Robinson, Brexit hero Darren Grimes and Antifa nemesis Andy Ngo for a lunch meeting on Saturday.

The topics for discussion are not clear, although Grimes recently tweeted that he had resigned from the Conservative Party over vaccine passports.  Is he about to join Fox and Robinson in the Reclaim Party?  Or was he merely there to take advantage of Andy Ngo's presence in the UK?  Ngo is currently holidaying here and any self-respecting critic of the far left would jump at the chance to meet the man who has singlehandedly done more damage to Anfifa/BLM than anyone.

Over the years Ngo has infiltrated Antifa and last year exposed the violent reality of what the media repeatedly dubbed 'peaceful protests' following the death of George Floyd.  He has been assaulted several times by far left thugs during the course of his work and has been subjected to numerous death threats.  His book Unmasked: Inside Antifa's Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy was a national bestseller in the US.

Both Grimes and Fox tweeted the above photo with the tag 'white supremacist lunch club', in reference to the clearly diverse nature of the club.  Ngo commented: "Gay, black, Asian white supremacists".

As Western society has become more diverse, so has conservatism.  This is a good thing as it makes a mockery of the left's persistent characterisation of the right as 'racist'.  The rise of President Trump alerted many to the reality of the broad church of Western conservatism.  Leftists looked away in horror and stuck their heads in the sand, but the roll-call of prominent MAGA-capped black conservatives was endless.  However, the likes of Candace Owens, Sheriff David Clarke, the Hodgetwins, Diamond & Silk, David J Harris, Terrence K Williams and Joel Patrick were conservatives long before Trump was elected.

The condescending left do not own or represent ethnic minorities.  In any case, the cultural backgrounds of many such communities are more naturally tilted towards conservative values, as opposed to the decadent, debauched surroundings of the modern left.  Together, we will beat the rise of the far left, but in the meantime we have bigger globalist fish to fry.

THE GOVERNMENT THAT CRIED HOPE

The appointment of Sajid Javid changes everything, apparently.  Unfortunately, that is according to a mainstream media that has lied throughout this pandemic.  While the early sentiment expressed by him is world's away from the despotic Hancock, there is little evidence to back up media claims that he is a bona fide lockdown sceptic.  Firstly, he has never been a member of the backbench Covid Recovery Group of anti-lockdown MPs and has always supported the government on Covid restrictions.  Secondly, all of the soundbites attributed to him on Monday are worthless as we have heard it all before - time and time again.  The UK government is the epitome of the boy who cried wolf.  Whether it's Christmas, Easter, summer or June 21, we have learned that when they dangle the carrot of liberty before our eyes it is a lie.

When Javid says there is 'no reason to go beyond July 19' he's not wrong, but Johnson made exactly the same noises up to a week before June 21.  If there is no reason for a July 19 delay, what exactly are the reasons why this can't end tomorrow?  Why didn't it end on June 21?  Why didn't it end months ago when the at risk groups were vaccinated, as had previously been indicated by Hancock?

The truth is that this won't end unless we make it happen ourselves.  The huge march in London on Saturday will have sent a message, but it was only the latest march in a series of mass rallies this year.  It is not enough.  We need to unmask now, businesses need to open up and restrictions must be abolished en masse.  If we as a people truly yearn for our freedom then we would reclaim it, and there is little that the authorities could do to stop us.  If every nightclub reopened and thousands of youngsters piled in on Friday night, the police would not be able to control that situation, especially if on the same night every pub and restaurant announced that they were to abolish restrictions on their premises.  We can do this - if we really want it.

FOX & CO IGNORE LABOUR BAN

An open air debate banned by Kirklees Council went ahead anyway on Thursday thanks to the defiance of its organisers.  The debate in Batley's marketplace had been billed as a 'free speech rally' by Reclaim Party leader Laurence Fox.  The chief topic for discussion was the ongoing fallout from the Muhammad cartoon incident at Batley Grammar School - the teacher involved is still in hiding from Muslim fanatics three months on.  A spokesman for Labour-run Kirklees Council said their ban on the rally was on the grounds of 'public safety':

"The council welcomes healthy debate and respects freedom of speech.  We also have a responsibility to make sure all events we permit on our land are safe, well organised and take into account potential disruption to local residents and businesses.  That’s why we ask organisers - in advance of an event - to provide details of their plans, how they have assessed potential risks and how we can work together to make sure their event goes smoothly for everyone.  This is a common sense approach and is standard practice across local authorities.  In this case, the event organisers have not requested permission for the use of the council’s land.  In the absence of assurances on public safety and legal compliance with Covid requirements or the impact on residents and businesses, council staff had no choice but to notify the organiser that they did not have permission to use the council’s assets".

Fox called the decision an 'affront to democracy' and went ahead as planned.  Also speaking at the rally was the popular local independent candidate Paul Halloran, who has indicated that he would stand as a Reclaim candidate in future.  Neither Halloran or Reclaim are standing in next week's by-election, but George Galloway is - much to the dismay of his former party.  Galloway addressed the rally and had some damning analysis of Labour, outgoing Batley MP Tracy Brabin and identity politics.

In a separate interview, Galloway went further: "Labour is going out in a puff of wokery.  Its trans-mania infatuation has turned off millions.  The visceral dislike of Labour on white English working-class estates is palpable.  People have concluded Labour doesn’t like them - and they heartily reciprocate".  Ironically it's the Muslim vote that Galloway is reportedly mopping up in Batley and Spen, dividing what had previously been a block Labour vote and almost certainly delivering the seat to the Tories in the process.

Both the Labour and Conservative candidates ignored an invitation to attend the debate, something Fox alluded to on Twitter.

The rally was attended by around 200 locals and heard from Fox, Halloran, Galloway, Martin Daubney (ex-Brexit Party MEP) and candidates from the SDP and Monster Raving Loony Party.  Labour's absence and their council's attempt to halt the event will have done the party no favours in Batley.  And say what you like about Galloway, but he is a man who defies the contemporary cancel crybabies of the left and will share a platform with anyone - including his political opponents.  This is called being a grown up!

LONDON TO KEEP ON FALLING

Aspiring politician Laurence Fox will get his first big test today when he stands in London's mayoral election.  A record 20 candidates are standing in the election, so Fox is among a very crowded field.  Each candidate needs at least five per cent of the vote in order to save their deposit, which is a whopping £10,000 in this election.  With the two leading candidates set to receive as much as 80 per cent between them, it doesn't take a genius to work out that most of those candidates will lose their deposits.

Fox will do well to keep his, but with a household name and big money backing his Reclaim Party, he could potentially do much better.  Some Tories are worried that his presence will 'split the vote' and hamper Shaun Bailey's chances.  Unfortunately, for everyone, Bailey has little chance of success anyway.

In the most recent opinion poll Bailey was 12 points behind Khan in the first ballot and 18 points behind in the final round.  The final round is required if no candidate achieves more than 50 per cent in the first ballot.  Khan had been polling more than 50 per cent earlier in the spring, peaking at 53 per cent in March.  Having fallen to 43 per cent on the eve of polling will dent his massive ego.

Contrary to the warblings of some Tory backers, there is nothing wrong with Shaun Bailey's candidacy.  They will blame Bailey when he fails to defeat Khan, but the sad truth is that there was no-one else they could put forward who would have been a significant threat to the mayor of this painfully woke city.  A rapidly changing demographic killed off their chances, not their candidate.

Bailey is a great candidate who is more than a match for Khan and has the common touch that Khan lacks.  Khan is great when it comes to ego-massaging selfies with his adoring woke electorate, but he runs a mile when a disgruntled peasant approaches.  He is archetypal of the modern Labour politician - working class people are like vermin to him and the sooner they are run out of London completely the better.  The future is grim for our capital city and it seems that no matter how much crime spirals out of control, the middle classes can't get enough of Khan.

For now all we can hope is that Bailey does better than expected and Fox, too.  A saved deposit for the latter would spare his blushes and give him a base on which to build.  The continuing overlap between his party and Reform may lead to an official merger later on, but the British people are crying out for a third party to challenge the two-party protection racket that offers nothing but lockdown and misery.

SKY NEWS OZ AND THE FOX

While BBC News refused to cover the huge anti-lockdown protest on Saturday, the unshackled platform of Sky News Australia was not only happy to give it airtime, but gave protesters their blessing.  On conservative show 'Outsiders' co-hosts Rowan Dean and Rita Panahi lashed out at 'lockdown lunacy' and Dean called out what many on the right in Britain are already well aware of - Boris Johnson is not a conservative.

Rowan Dean appears to be quite the fan of Laurence Fox, despite the fact the Reclaim Party leader considers himself more of a liberal than a conservative.  In keeping with his outspoken opposition to Covid lockdowns, Fox was at the demonstration on Saturday and spoke to former BBC and ITV reporter Anna Brees (see video below).

Note that once again Fox was shadowed by the former Brexit Party MEP Martin Daubney, whose ever presence in the Reclaim camp further blurs the lines between Reclaim and what is now known as Reform UK.  With Farage and Tice backing Fox for London mayor and Fox backing Reform UK for the London Assembly one wonders why they don't just join forces.  Egos play a large part - both Fox and Tice relish the spotlight, but they are also awaiting the outcome of these elections in order to assess each other's electoral potential.  Given our descent into tyranny courtesy of the main parties, the UK is screaming for a viable alternative.
