MAN OF THE PEOPLE?

Richey recorded a video last week in which he discussed all things Andy Burnham, but primarily his faux working class persona.  The man has never had a proper job in his life!

REEVES SNEERS AT 'WHITE VAN MAN'

In echoes of Jeremy Corbyn's 'kinder, gentler politics', Rachel Reeves and a sympathetic media have framed the heckling incident earlier this week as simply 'bad manners'.  In an interview with Channel 4's Helia Ebrahimi on Friday, the Chancellor was set up perfectly in order to repeat this mantra by way of turning it into an attack on Nigel Farage.  The Reform leader had responded to the initial incident by declaring he would 'like to buy this man a pint'.  Reeves refused to be drawn into a personal attack on Farage, but spoke about general courtesy, respect and civil debate over shouting and being 'aggressive'.

It's a bit rich coming from someone who takes part in a shouting and jeering contest every week in the House of Commons.

Watch the clip below (one minute watch)

It's all about taking the moral high ground with Labour at the moment, especially when it comes to the white working class patriots that the party despise.  Keir Starmer used a recent attack on the Unite the Kingdom march to speak about 'our values', suggesting that the marchers were somehow a subhuman element that did not represent Britain.  Reeves echoes this sentiment by referencing her upbringing and suggesting that flags do not maketh oneself a patriot.  The way she spews the words 'flag in your van' is reminiscent and no different from Emily Thornberry's sneering social post about a 'white van man' during a by-election in 2014.

These university-educated snobs have become so detached from the working classes that their party was originally founded to represent.  It's why they are so woefully ill-judged when faced with dissent, whether it be street hecklers, the Leave mandate or the rise of Reform UK.  They keep making the same mistake - smearing the masses with their silly labels and then expressing horror when the masses double down.  For many, there is no way back for Labour after years of sneering and contempt.  As the party has long abandoned this demographic, how else are they to get attention other than scream and shout?

If you haven't seen the clip of the 'white van man' heckling Red Rachel on the petrol forecourt, it can be seen below.  Technically, he wasn't a 'white van man', as he was driving a pickup truck, but the term 'white van man' is often used as a disparaging slur against working class people.

The man spoke for the nation, Red Rachel speaks only for her Fabian clique of bourgeois Marxists who absolutely do not 'love our country'.

MEME MONDAY #32

Karl is currently taking some time out from meme-making following last week's disappointing fund-raising effort.  In the meantime, we will explore some themes that we failed to squeeze into our tenth anniversary album.  These are are memes that span our ten years.

We will call this collection "The Workers"

REDS MARCH IN MANCHESTER

It will come as no great surprise that the Tory conference in Manchester has been met with hate and bile from the intolerant left.  Green fanatics, trans clowns and Remainiac Steve Bray (aka Drunk Steve from the Valleys) have all been in attendance (the latter deploying his usual tactic of screaming abuse at Tory members in the street).  However, it was the appearance of a bunch of black clad, masked indivudals carrying red flags that won the prize for most sinister stunt.

Click below for the video.

This video clip has drawn a lot of views on social media, due in no small part to the left-wing International Magazine.  It's interesting to note that while the magazine positions itself as an unapologetically communist outlet, the video does not show the banner carried at the head of the march.

This is the banner.

The viral tweet that carried the video declares: "Workers did not welcome the Conservative Party's annual conference in Manchester".  Leaving aside the fact that Manchester is Britain's third largest city and only a few dozen 'workers' decided to unanimously dress in black, don red masks and march under a communist banner - how many of these supposedly 'working class' activists are actually 'workers'?  Their chant "Victory to the working class" rings a little hollow if those chanting it are actually jobless layabouts living on benefits handed out by the same government they claim is suppressing them.

Of course this is just conjecture.  If they are true to their stated principles, they can simply unmask themselves and post selfies on the production line they don't work on.

WORKING PEOPLE

Across two of his six allotted questions at PMQs on Wednesday, Keir Starmer uttered the words 'working people' six times.  It was calculated and had as much to do with electioneering as it did taking Johnson to task.  He has revisited these words time and again in recent months as he seeks a foundation on which to achieve something that eluded Brown, Miliband and Corbyn - a Labour general election victory.

Starmer has two main problems with his appeal to 'working people'.  Firstly, he is still a man of little substance.  His policies are thin on the ground and even when he proposes something new it is clear that it is of no help to anyone and will merely heap more on the already colossal national debt.  His other big thing at the moment is calling for a 'windfall tax' on energy companies, but that will just result in bigger energy bills as companies pass it on to customers.

Secondly, too many people are already aware that Labour politicians actually despise working people.  Who can forget Emily Thornberry's infamous tweet about the white van man in Rochester?  Starmer is no different.  It was he who drove Labour's anti-Brexit policy under Corbyn's leadership and without working people there would have been no Leave mandate in the first place.

Starmer's working people mantra was mocked in a recent cartoon by Morten Morland of The Times (click below).

With the ever increasingly woke narrative, establishment politicians now tread on eggshells whenever they speak.  We saw this with Starmer's desperation not to offend the trans lobby earlier this week when he refused to discount that a woman could have a penis.

Ironically, Starmer's recent decree that Labour is the 'party of working people' drew the ire of disabled groups.  A spokeswoman for Disabled People Against Cuts said: "As a disabled person and a pensioner I find this utterly offensive".

It seems that whatever anyone says these days there will be someone who is offended.  We used to have something called a stiff upper lip in this country, but in recent decades we have descended into a bunch of self-obsessed, state-reliant, nodding news junkies who fall apart at the drop of a globalist hat.  In many ways we have the likes of Starmer and his idol Tony Blair to thank for that.

GOVE SLAPS DOWN SULTANA

Labour's Zarah Sultana was dealt a blunt dressing down by Michael Gove on Thursday when she lamented government plans for voter ID.  Sultana addressed her question to Gove via Zoom, beginning with a very old Boris Johnson quote about ID cards.  However, ID cards and voter ID are not the same thing.  Of course Boris was opposed to ID cards back in his pre-Covid libertarian days, but Zarah's quote dated from a time in which it was a Labour government proposing them.  Gove skipped over this fact and highlighted one of the 'Labour-voting' demographics on her list that would supposedly be hit hardest by a voter ID requirement - the working class.  Gove pointed out that working class people were now more likely to vote Conservative than Labour.  Ouch.

TORY SCEPTIC SHAMES LABOUR

A speech made in Parliament by Tory lockdown sceptic Charles Walker has inexplicably gone viral, almost three weeks after he gave it.  The member for Broxbourne addressed the lockdown debate on January 6 with an impassioned plea to think of those less fortunate who endure great hardship when stay at home orders are given: "These are people who are going to be worrying about their jobs, about their future, about their mental health, about their family relationships because they will miss people terribly".  He added that 'sadly, some of these people are going to break', a reference to the inevitable rise in mental health problems and suicide as a direct result of the restrictions.  It's worth noting that accurate suicide statistics are exceptionally difficult to obtain right now, apparently because inquests are subject to delays (but strangely we have Covid statistics streaming out of our TVs on a daily basis).

In his speech Walker singled out sneering journalists for particular criticism, but he was speaking about a much greater demographic ie. largely middle class lockdown enthusiasts who are able to work from home and appear unwilling, unable or just plain ignorant about the plight of those who are stuck in much smaller accommodation such as high rises or bedsits, with no access to green space, who may be already be unemployed, have no access to the internet, have existing mental health issues or who are just desperately lonely.

Click below for the speech in full.

This is the kind of speech that resonates with blue collar workers, many of whom will be jobless and struggling as a result of coronavirus restrictions.  Walker's stern criticism of the metropolitan elite speaks to the red wall and puts Labour to shame.  Where is the party of the workers?

The truth is that today's Labour Party is overwhelmingly run by wealthy elites who couldn't care less about blue collar workers and are more concerned with woke middle class crusades that alienate and mock the working classes.  And when Labour activists express surprise and an inability to explain how or why this demographic continues to abandon them they expose the delusion of the modern left.  The leaders they have consistently elected for decades have all been millionaires who never held a proper job in their lives.  Labour no longer speak for the workers, because they don't speak to the workers.

BATTLE OF THE GINGERS

Labour's Paul Embery continued to promote his excellent new book on Thursday with an appearance on BBC's Politics Live.  After batting away host Jo Coburn's repeated attempts to label Millwall fans 'racist', the author went to town on his snooty colleague Lloyd Russell-Moyle.  The Brighton MP was flabbergasted as Embery explained how his metropolitan ilk had abandoned the working classes.  "How dare you!" shrieked the comical Russell-Moyle, before he embarked on a sanctimonious response that consisted primarily of how offended he was - without countering any of Embery's observations.

Of course the likes of this woke Corbyn loyalist cannot form a coherent argument when it comes to Labour's abandonment of the working classes because they would rather not even acknowledge their existence at all.  These are, after-all, the scum who voted for Brexit and Labour do not speak for them.

WHY THE LEFT HATE THE WORKERS

Paul Embery and his new book

Paul Embery is currently promoting his book Despised: Why the Modern Left Loathes the Working Class.  Speaking to TalkRadio's Julia Hartley-Brewer he explains why it is so many of his Labour colleagues regard the proletariat as scum.  Watch below.

DESPISED

Paul Embery is a member of the Labour Party, but he has just released a book in defence of the working class - in particular the attitude of the left towards the proletariat.  In fact Despised is subtitled "Why the Modern Left Loathes the Working Class".  Predictably the response of the intolerant left has been to label him a 'fascist', much to the amusement of Embery and his supporters.  Have any of them actually read his book?  Highly doubtful.

Embery is a curious, but laudable case.  He was a lifelong trade unionist until he was thrown out after appearing at a pro-Brexit rally.  As an exponent of Blue Labour he rejects globalism and uncontrolled mass immigration in favour of a civic socialism that shares many conservative values.  Unlike the hard left - that seeks to undermine and ultimately dismantle the family unit - Blue Labour endorses family values as central to its politics.  The ideology was founded by Labour peer Lord Glasman and more information about it can be found here.

Former Labour MP Kate Hoey and Conservaive journalist Tony Parsons are among those who have endorsed Embery's book.  Last week Hoey tweeted that his book is what "every Labour Party member needs for Christmas".  It's probably a must for many conservatives too (large and small c).

LABOUR'S CLASS WAR HYPOCRISY

An anti-Tory campaign group launched last month is run by former Labour advisor Adam McNicholas.  One Rule For Them deploys class war-style smears, primarily against Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummings.  On Monday it released a video attacking Rishi Sunak, highlighting his wealth and banking background.  Voiced by someone with a thick northern accent it's clear that the remit for McNicholas is to claw back support for Labour among the working classes.

However, like many in his party McNicholas is far from working class himself.  He is just another member of the white collar metropolitan elite that now dominate the Labour Party.  A university graduate who has spent his entire career in PR, his most recent Labour role ended in failure.  In 2016 he was appointed campaign director for the party's attempt to win the first ever West Midlands mayoral election.  Labour lost to the Conservatives, albeit narrowly.

Adam McNicholas

Clearly McNicholas is no more working class than Rishi Sunak, despite his group's pretence about championing the workers.  As for Rishi, despite all the politics of envy being stirred up in the attack video (see below) it was the Chancellor who ensured that Brits were financially supported during the pandemic.  The UK's furlough scheme was one of the most generous in the world and Labour knows it.  Sunak's popularity, tied with the fact he is of an ethnic background that negates Labour's racially divisive politics, this video will be far from the last class war-style attack on the Chancellor...

ZARAH'S MIGRANT LECTURE

Labour's Zarah Sultana is the face of a new pro-migrant video from commie media outlet Double Down News.  The hard left MP for Coventry South spends five minutes telling viewers how Britain has a moral obligation to accept migrants fleeing war and persecution etc.  The problem is that everyone knows that they're coming from France, having already crossed continental Europe with the purpose of reaching soft touch Britain.  Sorry Zarah, but they already stopped being 'desperate refugees' some time ago.  The people crossing the English Channel to exploit our generosity are economic migrants.

From start to finish there is barely a sentence that drops from Zarah's mouth that isn't total nonsense.  From her opening gambit about the 'enemy of the working class' this is class war student politics, full of communist soundbites like 'know your enemy'.  In fact the whole production has the feel of a media studies project straight out of the university classroom.  Interspersed with provocative images aimed at creating sympathy for migrants, while demonising the Tories and those with wealth, the biggest problem is that this doesn't speak to its intended audience.

Labour have already lost the working classes and the sight of a young female MP with a plum in her mouth is enough to have most ordinary people turning off within seconds - and this is without the knowledge that Zarah was educated at one of the finest grammar schools in the Midlands, followed immediately by university and a career in politics.  Like her idol Corbyn, this girl who is lecturing the workers has never had a proper job in her life.  She says that the Tories 'hold the working class in contempt', but in actual fact those who despise the working class more than anyone else are the metropolitan elitists of the left.  Insults like 'gammon' and 'boomer' haven't come from the Tory ranks, they're used by the likes of Owen Jones, Ash Sarkar and those who sneered at the working classes with the paper machĂ© creation put on display in Bristol recently.

Watch below, if you have a strong stomach.

"No-one puts children in a boat unless the water is safer than the land".  How many times do we have to say this - they're boarding those boats from France, not Syria.

SNEER THEM ON THE BEACHES

The sneering of the middle class left has reached fever pitch in recent weeks.  After the mob of predominantly white latte lefties toppled the Colston statue they followed it up by dumping a paper mache sculpture of a white working class bloke next to the empty plinth.  Naturally, their interpretation of an English working class male was a shaven-headed, braindead xenophobe.  The irony of their own prejudices was lost on them.

While they assume a moral and intellectual superiority over the rest of us they are not sharp enough to see the self-defeating culmination of their own arrogance.  From 2015 they backed a privately educated metropolitan multi-millionaire to deliver their twisted ideology, but were dumbfounded when the working classes said 'no thanks' on December 12.  They were the only ones who didn't see it coming and yet they continue to sneer and mock and repeat the same mistakes even now.

This is how the editor of the hard left Canary news website responded to scenes of packed British beaches in the recent heatwave...

How ironic that the all-powerful proletariat continues to be held in so much contempt by the disciples of Marx?  Keep up the sneering Kerry-Anne and co, your movement will go far.  Not.

THE BRISTOL SNEER

We can all agree that slavery is bad.  Anyone who lives in a civilised society would and should condemn slavery.  However, if we live in a truly civilised society then we should all condemn the actions of a criminal mob who tear down statues and deface monuments because they find them personally objectionable.  If we allow it to happen just once without reproach then we can quickly find ourselves on a slippery slope to anarchy.

There have been no arrests over the toppling of the Colston statue in Bristol, despite the incident having been filmed and shown around the world.  Given the disgraceful attitude of Avon and Somerset Police at the time this is perhaps no great surprise.  On Monday a new monument appeared a few metres away from the empty Colston plinth.  Perched on a wheelie bin was a clay sculpture of a bald overweight man in a string vest holding a mobile phone with a Cross of St George on it and a caption reading: England for the English.

The following pictures were shared on Twitter by Caleb Sivyer, who claims to be a senior lecturer at Bristol's University of the West of England.  He referred to the sculpture as a 'fantastic new statue'.

This is how the middle class left mock the working classes of this country and they're not even ashamed of it.  They do so from an apparently morally and intellectually superior mindset and yet these are the same people who continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, expecting a different result.  They were shocked and dismayed when Leave won the 2016 referendum and spent the next few years sneering at Brexit voters.  Leave voters quietly waited for the government to implement their democratic mandate, while Remainers marched in the streets and demanded that those stupid people should have their vote overturned.

They were dismayed when the Brexit Party romped home in the European elections, but they were not deterred from their sneering ways.  When Jeremy Corbyn got smashed in the general election a few months later they were devastated, not least because the working classes had backed a Tory government like never before.  How did this happen?  They were so puzzled and angry.

Yet still they sneer and mock the backbone of this country.  We can only hope they keep it up and continue in their eternally futile expectation that they will get a different result next time.

PS. Caleb Sivyer also says on his Twitter profile that he is an academic researching 'gender theory'.  We can give you a shortcut pal - there are two.  And also, Saint George was Greek - not Turkish.

THE 'SOCIAL WORK PARTY'

Back in February the Brexit Party's Claire Fox took part in a debate that included Labour's Faiza Shaheen.  The full debate can be found here, but of particular interest is Fox's assessment of how the modern Labour Party treats the working classes it was designed to represent.  She ties in Brexit as a prime example of how Labour lost the workers and lost the general election.

Watch below for her superb analysis.

ETERNAL LOSERS OF THE LEFT

Everything that we've been saying for years has been condensed by Paul Joseph Watson into this awesome ten minute video.  Focusing on Labour's latest election humiliation, Watson explores the reasons for it and the moronic inability of the hard left to comprehend why it keeps happening.  All the sad losers are in here - Ash Sarkar, Little Owen, Paul Mason, Femi Izawally, Steve Coogan, Lily Allen and Hugh Grant.  We really ought to stop telling them how they're going wrong, one day they may get the message.  Then again, five minutes on Twitter will tell you that these hateful morons are never going to get the message.  It's on repeat, bring on 2024.

We can't share this video to Facebook because Paul Joseph Watson is banned from that platform, but you can subscribe to his YouTube channel here.  You can subscribe to our channel too while you're at it.

PARTY OF LONDON

by Richey Edwards

Following their election defeat many Labour supporters immediately began repeating exactly the same mistakes that led them to such a heavy defeat.  It was the same response that followed the EU referendum and fed growing resentment over the following three and a half years.  If Labour thought they could get away with talking down to the people in their heartlands, those who elected them without fail for a century, taking them for granted and trying to reverse their 2016 decision - they were sorely mistaken.  Yes, the election humiliation was about more than just Brexit, they lost seats across the south of England too, including even in their new heartland of London.  But primarily, above all else they were hammered by working class voters in the north of England.

BTLP's #PartyOfLondon hashtag was not understood by everyone.  That didn't matter, it wasn't for everyone.  Its target was the Labour heartlands - the old heartlands of the north of England and south Wales, places that were also the Brexit heartlands.  We tapped into the perception that Labour had abandoned its working class northern roots in favour of a metropolitan London elite.  Its activist base was increasingly being drawn from the middle classes and pro-Brexit voices were slowly being stamped out and excommunicated.  All of the top people on Labour's front bench represented London seats, including all four of those who would occupy the Great Offices of State - Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott and Thornberry.  With the exception of Corbyn, they all indicated they would back 'Remain' in Labour's People's Vote con, in itself an infuriating insult to those who had voted Leave.  Just behind those four was a London barrister and anointed knight Sir Keir Starmer.  His whiny voice was anathema to those northern Leave voters and the fact he'd been appointed Shadow Brexit Secretary whilst consistently opposed to Brexit just made it all the more nauseating.  That he is one of the favourites to succeed Corbyn goes to show that Labour still doesn't get it, even now.

Imagine how the election of Starmer would go down with those northern working class voters who have just ditched Labour and astonishingly crossed straight over to the Tories because of decades of being taken for granted by London elites?  It would only reinforce that 'Party of London' perception.

It also didn't go unnoticed that after the election was called the London-based leadership did everything it could to parachute London candidates into northern seats vacated by those that had been driven out or retired.  Islington councillors popped up in places like Liverpool, Leicester and Coventry as potential Westminster candidates.  In West Bromwich Tom Watson's replacement was a Lambeth councillor who prints anti-Brexit messages on the receipts at his London kebab shops.  West Bromwich voted overwhelmingly to Leave.  The imposition of such candidates sparked huge resentment in local constituency parties that was reported in various local news media outlets.  Again, the perception that Labour had abandoned the Midlands and the north was strengthened.

One of the only decent remaining Labour MPs to make it to this election was Caroline Flint.  A Londoner herself, she represented a Yorkshire seat and had backed Remain in 2016.  However, rather than lie through gritted teeth like many of her colleagues did following the result, she fought to get Brexit done.  Cynics might suggest that she did so to placate her Leave-voting constituents and therefore survive the onslaught that was to come.  The fact she saw it coming actually put her head and shoulders above her Yorkshire colleagues in Westminster.  The likes of Yvette Cooper, Ed Miliband and the hideous Mary Creagh thought they could continue to bash Brexit and their dopey constituents would continue to slavishly cross their boxes on the ballot paper.  Flint knew there would be consequences and she knew the reasons why.

On election night it was tragically Flint herself that paid the price for the actions of others.  Miliband and Cooper survived, but only just, and saw their majorities slashed so fine that their once safe Labour seats are now marginals.  Creagh departed Westminster, but at her election count used her speech to attack Brexit one last time and in doing so further alienate her former Wakefield constituents.  She was still in denial, something Flint had never been.  She explained to Sophy Ridge on Sky this morning what led to so many seat losses in the north, including her own. Flint namedropped Keir Starmer and Emily Thornberry as prime examples of the London elitist snobbery that had taken the north for granted.

Labour is now in serious trouble going forward from this election defeat.  The perception that it is a party of London is no longer a theory, it is fact.  Labour gained one seat at this election - one.  An astonishing fact in itself, but if you were told this at any point in Labour's history your mind would immediately have drifted to the north, Midlands, Wales or Scotland as to where that seat was won.  It was actually won in Putney, a leafy well-to-do heavily Remain voting seat in south-west London.

Labour is far from its roots and is in a state of denial.  Elect Keir Starmer or Lady Nugee as leader by all means.  Then watch what remains of your so-called 'red wall' in the north crumble into dust at the next election.  That's why I'm backing either of those for the leadership.

SORRY LEN, BUT YOU ARE A REMAIN PARTY

Prior to the Labour conference Len McCluskey was the only trades union leader to resist a second EU referendum.  A northerner himself he could see how damaging such a policy would be for the party in the Labour Leave heartlands.  McCluskey and his Unite union had to be dragged kicking and screaming into supporting the idea at Labour's party conference.  Now the party is committed to another referendum he is having to make the best out of a bad situation.  It's not an easy position to defend, granted, but this week he desperately implored the working classes not to vote for the Brexit Party and outright lied about Labour's fake 'people's vote'.  "Labour is not a Remain party" he repeatedly told the BBC this week.  However, we now know that Labour's referendum would be a 'choice' between Remain and a newly negotiated deal that keeps us tied to all of the institutions of the EU.  There will be no Leave option.

In many northern seats the presence of a Brexit Party candidate is not going to hinder the Tories, it's going to help them.  Most of those intending to vote Brexit Party are not traditional Tory voters, they are traditional Labour voters and Len knows this.  Hence his desperate plea.  Nigel Farage is also well aware of this situation and has quite rightly pointed out that the Labour 'surge' of 2017 was helped in no small way by the collapse in the UKIP vote.  Hundreds of thousands of pre-referendum UKIP voters switched back to their traditional Labour vote post-referendum.  As we have not left the EU there will be plenty of Labour Leave voters considering a vote for the Brexit Party and thereby tipping the balance in some northern marginals.

We must continue to remind people of the false choice of Labour's second referendum.  Sorry Len, but when you're offering Remain vs Remain the workers are left with no illusion that you're a Remain party.

LABOUR'S RAMADAN LOVE-IN

It's that time of year folks.  Of course most of you would be forgiven for not knowing what time of year it is we're referring to, but it's basically the time of year when Muslims fast and Labour politicians suck up to them.  Yes, this is the party that bends over backwards to accommodate their priority voters...

Dismiss Islamist terror attacks as 'incidents'?  Check!
Scream blue murder about attacks on Muslims?  Check!
Hate Israel, love Palestine?  Check!
Sweep child sexual exploitation by Pakistani grooming gangs under the carpet?  Check!
Ignore female genital mutilation and label anyone who speaks out a racist?  Check!
Fast-track planning permission for new mosques and madrassas?  Check!
Encourage Muslims to sign up to postal votes?  Check!

And finally, show your love for Ramadan on Twitter in toe-curling dhimmitude...

Back in the old days when Labour's sole purpose was to speak up for the working classes of England, Scotland and Wales, could anyone have predicted that the party's priorities would change so drastically?
