CHAR TROLLED BY OWN SIDE

Hapless Labour MP Charlotte Nichols has been trolled on Twitter after a self-indulgent and somewhat bizarre tweet.  On Wednesday she bemoaned the fact that she could not renew her 26-30 railcard as she turns 31 in April.  She accompanied her narcissistic musing with a photograph of her fellow Labour MP Tony Lloyd, pictured with an arms seizure during his time as Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner...

It didn't take long before detractors began to mock the neurotic MP and quite rightly so - how could she tweet something so flippant when there are millions of British people currently forced to choose between eating and heating?

One fellow Labourite was clearly not amused by Charlotte's 'humour' and fired off a series of mocking tweets...

Despite being part of Corbyn's 2019 intake and a member of the Socialist Campaign Group, Nichols is not popular on the far left and is routinely accused of being a 'centrist'.  That's certainly the vibe from the above tweets.

And people say the Tories are divided!

ENEMY OF MY ENEMY

Sinn Fein refuse to take their seats in Parliament, but they are still trying to influence the Brexit process by linking up with Brexit blocking mainland parties.  The Marxists continue to maintain close links with Corbyn's Labour, but also the separatist parties in Scotland and Wales.  It's only natural for such alliances to blossom as both Plaid and the SNP also look to undermine the British state and ultimately break it up.  'The enemy of my enemy is my friend' is a very appropriate term, but these parties share so much more.

The SNP, Plaid, Sinn Fein and Labour are all situated on the left and in the case of the so-called 'nationalist' parties they all vehemently oppose Brexit.  This is particularly distasteful in the case of Plaid, in that Wales voted Leave, but it also further illustrates the falsehood that these are nationalist parties.  Advocating independence for the home nations, but within the European Union, is a laughably absurd policy.  There is no independence for any member state of the EU, only submission, diktat and slavery.

Sinn Fein, Plaid and the SNP also share outlandish policies in their attitudes to multi-culturalism and mass immigration.  Despite appealing to actual nationalist tendencies by espousing the preservation of cultural identity, they all support mass immigration to the point of Labour-style open borders.  Open for all that is, except for those nasty English.  The hypocrisy is staggering.  A migrant who has settled in Wales, having at least some basic knowledge of the English language, is even less likely to learn Welsh than an English person who has relocated to Wales - and yet Plaid, the so-called 'Party of Wales', promote freedom of movement.

These are not nationalists.  These are leftists appealing to nationalist sentiment, but whose agenda is to deliver a new state trapped inside the EU while the national, cultural and ethnic integrity of said state goes down the pan in favour of mass migration and submission to a foreign power (the European Union).  The only way to protect the cultural identity of Scotland and Wales is to maintain our United Kingdom, free and independent of Brussels.  The EU is not your friend, or your saviour.  Neither is Sinn Fein.

REMAIN BITCHFEST

If Corbyn truly believed he could unite the Remainers of Parliament, tonight he will surely be scratching his head in disbelief.  By announcing his intention to lead a caretaker government he unleashed a war of words that looks set to rumble on well into the Parliamentary recess.  Much of the discord revolves around Jo Swinson's outright opposition to Corbyn taking the top job.  Pro-Remain Corbynistas were not not amused and unleashed their usual vitriol, not least little Owen Jones who appeared on Sky News to rattle off a list of 'crimes' carried out by the Lib Dems when they were part of the coalition.  It's no wonder the Lib Dems don't want to share power with them.  All Corbyn's loony left do is pour scorn on anyone who doesn't share their politics, then cry foul when their victims turn on them.  They have made so many enemies in the Commons that some opposition MPs are considering voting with the government rather than back Corbyn.

For her part, Swinson gave this shaky interview to Krishnan Guru-Murthy in which she threw Harriet Harman under the bus and left her at the mercy of the Corbynista keyboard warriors.  Did Harman (and Ken Clarke) really tell her they were prepared to lead a caretaker government?  Harman publicly threw herself behind Corbyn's coup this morning in a tweet.  Swinson doesn't sound too sure about what she is saying...

CORBYN'S CASH FOR IRA

Why did Jeremy Corbyn and several of his colleagues push for so many amendments to the proposed Northern Ireland bill?  They tabled a raft of amendments including one related to a 'Troubles fund' in which victims are compensated by way of a special pension.  Corbyn and his pals have proposed a clause that the pension should be eligible to "all seriously injured victims of Troubles-related violence".  The key word there is all.

It's been pointed out that such a vague sweeping statement could pave the way for ex-paramilitaries to claim the pension.  It doesn't take a great leap in logic to unlock Corbyn's motive.  As a firm supporter of Irish republicanism it's clear that he is still seeking the best for his IRA chums.  Perhaps by tabling so many changes Corbyn thought his pension-related amendment would slip through unnoticed.  He was sorely mistaken.  Victims and their families are outraged.

Matthew Jury, a solicitor who represented victims of the Hyde Park bombing, said:  "What this means is that even the IRA terrorist who blew off his fingers building his bombs is entitled to a pension.  By the back-door, taxpayers will be paying terrorists a state-funded pension.  And it means that terrorists' own victims, as taxpayers, will be forced to finance the retirement of the very people who took their limbs, their loved ones and their lives.  Corbyn must know this and it's monstrous.  These attempts to create a moral equivalence between terrorists and their victims and terrorists and British soldiers has to stop. There is none.  Terrorists in Northern Ireland willingly and actively engaged in violence.  Their victims did not.”

Here here.  The disgraceful amendment was also signed by Labour MPs Nick Brown, Tony Lloyd, Stephen Pound and Karin Smyth.  Lloyd is the Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, so we can clearly see where Labour's loyalties are going to lie were they to win power.  At the funeral of the murdered journalist Lyra McKee earlier this year Corbyn and Lloyd were pictured cosying up to Sinn Fein leaders Michelle O'Neill and Mary Lou McDonald.

The bill is currently being scrutinised by the House of Lords.

The funeral of IRA murder victim Lyra McKee is currently taking place in Belfast.  Theresa May is sitting alongside the Irish Taoiseach, while Jeremy Corbyn is sat next to Sinn Fein leaders, naturally.  He is accompanied by the veteran Rochdale MP Tony Lloyd.
