Over on our main Facebook page we are currently conducting a retrospective of Starmer's Labour leadership and premiership through the medium of Karl's memes. This exercise is due to finish on Monday, in order to coincide with the handover of power from Starmer to Burnham.
Starmer is expected to make one final speech outside Downing Street on Monday morning (oh, the joy), before heading to Buckingham Palace to formally resign before the King. Once Starmer is shuffled out, Burnham will meet with the King and take over. He is then expected to head over to Downing Street to make his first speech as PM (joy, oh joy).
