BUYER'S REMORSE

While many people correctly surmised that the huge petition that gathered pace over the weekend would not result in any form of systemic change, it has undoubtedly turned up the pressure dial on Keir Starmer.  Our part-time PM faced awkward questions upon his return to work this week, and while he squirmed in the face of media questioning, his strategy became clear - blame all those who didn't vote Labour.

Now we all know that there are voters up and down these lands who put their cross next to Labour candidates in July and who are now regretting that decision.  Starmer's plummeting approval rating and Labour's tanking in the polls are both indicative of buyer's remorse.  When he took office, Labour were enjoying a double digit lead - anywhere from 10-19 points depending on the poll - but that poll lead began to shrink rapidly, up to the point that some pollsters now have the Tories in the lead.

That is quite a turnaround for a government elected with a huge majority just a few months ago and, even with a fairly significant margin of error, suggests that a significant number of voters will have turned their backs on Labour.

Starmer knows this, too.  He is well aware of just how unpopular he is, no matter what bubble he envelops himself in.  His back door escape from the recent Labour conference in Wales shows that he and his advisors are well aware of the growing anger outside.  Imagine being a newly elected PM with such a huge majority, but being unable to show your face in public?

From pensioners to businesses, to farms and the poorest in society, twelve months from now there will be seldom few across these islands who are not feeling the pinch of Starmer's rush to inflict globalist policies on the UK.

Many of these people voted Labour and they're not going to do so again any time soon.  Starmer's assertion that those demanding another election are purely 'those who didn't vote Labour' not only misrepresents the situation, it is a lie on his part.

The petition in question - to call a new general election in light of Labour's lies - ran out of steam on Tuesday and is currently stalled at less than 2.8million.  An impressive figure nonetheless, and with a Commons debate likely to follow, it is sure to remind the masses just how unpopular this man is.

BRITS DEMAND A NEW ELECTION

Just after 16:00 on Sunday a petition on the UK Parliament website surpassed one million signatures.  There is nothing particularly noteworthy about reaching such a milestone, except that the petition in question only went online 24 hours earlier.

The petition demands another general election, in response to all the lies and u-turns undertaken by Starmer's wretched government since they took office.  It is reportedly the fastest growing petition in British history, surpassing the previous record held by a petition demanding 'justice for George Floyd' (yes, an American).

Pub landlord Michael Westwood is the man behind the petition, but he is as surprised as anyone as to its runaway success.

While the petition is unlikely to actually result in another election, it will heap further pressure on our disastrous PM and his government must not only respond to the petition - it must be considered for debate in the Commons.

You can sign Michael's petition here and don't forget to click on the confirmation link in your email.

A WELSH REBELLION?

A petition set up on the Welsh Senedd website has quickly become the most signed in the history of Welsh government.  Having gathered more than 100,000 signatures since Sunday, it is - not surprisingly - about Mark Drakeford's absurd 20 mile per hour speed limit.

The daft law designates a default 20mph limit for every road in a built-up area, with a handful of exceptions where local authorities have applied for exemptions.  The law was brought in on Sunday and affects around 3 per cent of all Welsh roads.  Needless to say, the law has provoked widespread dismay among drivers and the many businesses who will suffer as traffic backs up and deliveries are delayed.

The petition against 20mph has - at the time of writing - surpassed a quarter of a million signatures.  That's a whopping eight per cent of the entire population of Wales and far outstrips the previous record, which was set in 2020 and again, in opposition to another outrageous Drakeford imposition.  During the scamdemic, Drakeford declared a two week 'firebreak' lockdown and ordered supermarkets to bar the sale of non-essential items.  This led to a bizarre situation in which people were allowed to buy wine, beer and spirits (already subject to astronomical price rises thanks to Drakeford's minimum alcohol price) while being unable to purchase clothes for their children.  The petition against this decree garnered almost 68,000 signatures, a figure now dwarfed by the 20mph petition.  A Facebook group set up in opposition to 20mph has swelled to almost 50,000 members.

The 20mph law is inspired by the same mindset that gave Londoners ULEZ and increasing numbers of UK cities 'clean air zones'.  It has nothing to do with health and everything to do with the imposition of so-called '15 minute cities' where our movements are controlled by the state.  We can but hope the Welsh rise up and fight 20mph just as the infamous 'blade runners' are doing against ULEZ in Greater London.

Some of the new 20mph signs have already been vandalised

NEIL OLIVER'S MONOLOGUE 14.05.22

Neil Oliver tackles the despicable WHO pandemic treaty in his latest monologue.  What is the WHO pandemic treaty you may ask, for there has been no mention of it in the mainstream media - quelle surprise?  The WHO treaty will mean nations who sign up to it will no longer have control over their own response to new diseases.  If the World Health Organisation was to dictate lockdowns, mask mandates or vaccine passports then that's what the signatories would impose on their citizens.  The very concept of the treaty subverting democracy and national sovereignty, which is of course at the heart of the globalist agenda.  The WHO is another unelected body that is not accountable to anyone.  Boris Johnson has already indicated that he will sign up on our behalf, undermining the Brexit vote and keeping the UK on course to join Klaus Schwab's new world order.

Neil does not take the implications lightly: "Be in no doubt, this so-called pandemic treaty is the single greatest power grab that anyone has seen in our lifetime - it's nothing less than the groundwork, the laying of deep foundations for global governance".  He ends his piece by delivering a stern and defiant message, in that he will not comply with any WHO diktat 'while there is breath in my body'.  Hear, hear!

Click below for Mr Oliver's take on the latest disturbing globalist assault on our lives and liberty.

Despite the media blackout on this dystopian treaty, a very successful poll on the UK Parliament website is on course to reach the 100,000 threshold required for a Commons debate.  A debate is the very least we could demand for something that could affect every single person in the United Kingdom.

BLAIR PETITION SURPASSES 600K

The petition to rescind Tony Blair's knighthood has now surpassed a whopping 600,000 signatures.  Unfortunately, as a Change.org petition it has little chance of success.  There will be no debate in Parliament, regardless of how many signatures the petition receives.  Change.org petitions have garnered millions of signatures in the past, but there is no evidence they have resulted in anything but failure.

If you still want to add your signature to the petition, you can do so here.

There is currently no such petition on the UK government website.

PASSPORT PETITION SURPASSES 250K

A petition against domestic vaccine passports - also known as 'freedom passes' or immunity certificates - has surpassed 250,000 signatures on the UK government website.  The petition is currently one of the most popular on the site, but it took the government 39 days to respond.  The response was so long in coming that in the meantime a date had already been set for a Parliamentary debate.

The government's response was provided on Wednesday and states that a decision would be made in advance of stage four of lockdown easing ie. when hospitality fully reopens.  The fact that Boris Johnson, Michael Gove and Nadhim Zarhawi have all previously said that domestic passports would not be implemented shows that this government cannot be trusted.

The government response is carefully worded and leaves plenty of room for their original plan to be enacted.  That plan dates back to at least November and will require non-vaccinated individuals to use an app on their phone to gain entry to venues.  The individual will have to take regular Covid tests in order to receive a QR code via the app.  Welcome to the Bulls Head - it's 1984.

The full government response to the petition is as follows.
"The Government is reviewing whether COVID-status certificates could play a role in reopening parts of our economy, reducing restrictions on social contact and improving safety.

The Government is reviewing whether COVID-status certificates could play a role in reopening parts of our economy, reducing restrictions on social contact and improving safety.

As set out in the roadmap by the Prime Minister, this review will include assessing to what extent certification would be effective in reducing risk, and the potential uses to enable access to settings or a relaxation of COVID-Secure mitigations.  The Government will also consider the ethical, equalities, privacy, legal and operational aspects of this approach and what limits, if any, should be placed on organisations using certification.  It will draw on external advice to develop recommendations that take into account any social and economic impacts, and implications for disproportionately impacted groups and individuals’ privacy and security.  The Government will set out its conclusions in advance of Step 4 in order to inform the safe reopening of society and the economy.

As the Prime Minister has said, there are complex ethical issues - and we can't discriminate against people who, for whatever reason, haven't had a vaccine".

STURGEON'S GRIP IS SLIPPING

It's fair to say Nicola Sturgeon is having a rough time of it at the moment and it's about time.  The mainstream media have largely given her a free ride over the course of the pandemic, with scandal after scandal being brushed aside.  Her persistent absence from COBRA meetings, scientific advisor's second home trips and MP Margaret Ferrier's 800 round trip with Covid are just a few of the incidents that are rarely discussed now, yet it seems we'll be hearing rumblings about Dominic Cummings and Barnard Castle forever.

However, the Alex Salmond saga is not going away and there are plenty of signs her authority is beginning to slip.  The removal of Joanna Cherry from the SNP's frontbench at Westminster led to furious infighting and divisions in the so-called 'nationalist' party were laid bare.  Her authority has been directly challenged again by Police Scotland over her threat to effectively close the border with England, under the guise of Covid policy differences.  The deputy chief constable declared over the weekend: "We are a United Kingdom and to try to intervene with that would not be particularly effective".  That was a brutal slap down and the second time the police have refused to support her border threats.

Sturgeon is also likely to provoke a backlash when she announces her plans to ease the lockdown in Scotland.  She could easily score huge points over Westminster if she ended it more quickly, but this is a socialist we're talking about and if there's anything we know about socialists - they love control.  As with last summer, the lockdowns in Scotland (and Wales) are likely to be even more drawn out than in England.

While the SNP is still almost certain to win again in May's Holyrood elections, its lead has slipped from an all-time high of 39 points back in October, to 31 points.  Similarly, support for Scottish independence has dropped from a record 14 point lead in December to just five points.  Crucially, in the most recent poll 10 per cent were undecided.  It seems that Sturgeon's assured victory in IndyRef2 is no longer set in stone - not that it's going to happen any time soon anyway.

On that note, a huge petition has been building on the UK government's website in opposition to IndyRef2.

Nicola and her phoney nationalists would love to portray this petition as the work of the imperialist English, jam-packed with signatories from Northumberland to Devon.  However, just a cursory glance at the heat map for the petition shows that the overwhelming majority of signatures are from Scotland itself.

In another acute embarrassment for Sturgeon and comrades, the constituencies providing the most signatures are mostly SNP seats (figures correct at time of writing)...

East Renfrewshire 3,076 (SNP)
Edinburgh North & Leith 2,584 (SNP)
Edinburgh West 2,525 (Lib Dem)
East Dunbartonshire 2,428 (SNP)
East Lothian 2,314 (SNP)
Lanark & Hamilton East 2,063 (SNP)
Edinburgh South (Lab) 2,045
Ochil & South Perthshire (SNP) 2,039
Stirling 1,926 (SNP)
Aberdeen South 1,923 (SNP)
Central Ayrshire 1,842 (SNP)

The Unionist cause in Scotland is far from dead.  Long live Great Britain.

DRAKEFORD'S R RATE LIE

Disinformation and misinformation have been key to the fearmongering campaign waged by governments across the UK during the pandemic.  Whether it be the Tories in Westminster or the socialists in Cardiff and Edinburgh, the misrepresentation of data has been used to maintain fear.  After all, a population that lives in fear is easier to control.  And despite countless dodgy graphs presented by SAGE scientists, the mainstream media gives them a free ride and they are never challenged when the information is proven to be either false or wildly exaggerated.

Similarly the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales fail to receive the scrutiny that so-called journalists ought to be deploying now that the facts about this virus are so publicly available.  Take Mark Drakeford's press briefing on the 27th of November.  During that broadcast he claimed that the reproduction rate of the virus in Wales 'could be as high as 1.4'.  However, five days later a report demolished that claim.  The Technical Advisory Group are the Welsh verson of SAGE and advise Drakeford's government.  Their report, dated the same day as Drakeford made his claim, stated: "As reported by SAGE, the R value in Wales is estimated to be between 0.8 and 1.0 (the same as last week)".

This huge discrepancy was reported by the Daily Post in North Wales, but in Drakeford's following press briefing not one journalist asked him about it.  The mainstream media are so complicit in this conspiracy they are acting like state media.

So why did Drakeford lie about the R rate?  Primarily to justify his lockdown measures, a by-product of which is to maintain fear.  That press briefing took place a week before the hospitality sector was forced to close by his alcohol ban, something which is only being voted on in the Senedd today - four days after the industry shut.  This is in itself an affront to democracy and to all those landlords and landladies who may never open their doors again.

The puritanical spite of Drakeford was highlighted again last week when a TV advertising campaign on behalf of Welsh drinks producers was effectively banned.  With positive cases likely to rise again in the New Year, the direction of travel for the First Minister appears to be full-on prohibition.  By closing pubs he will have forced people to socialise indoors where there are no control measures in place.  But this isn't the only reason that cases are likely to spike again.

In addition to the Christmas 'dispensation' on family gatherings, Wales is currently rolling out the new rapid result lateral flow tests.  This will boost the case rate far more than indoor gatherings as mass testing equals more cases.  Make no mistake, Wales will be closed again in January, and ironically the arrival of the vaccine has only increased this prospect.  Drakeford will be keen to make the most of his draconian powers while he can still justify them.

Two petitions have been presented to the Senedd in regards to the alcohol ban and anyone in the UK can sign.  Click below to add your signature and register your disgust at Drakeford's all-out assault on the hospitality industry.  Both petitions need to collect 10,000 signatures in order to qualify for a Senedd debate.

THE LONGEST WAIT

Remember the grooming gangs petition on the government website?  Clearly the government would rather you didn't.  The petition ran its six month course last month and closed, but despite surpassing the 100,000 signature threshold way back in March we are still waiting for the Parliamentary debate.  At that time it could be argued that coronavirus was more of a priority, but the Commons was sitting throughout June and most of July too.  It is now 213 days since the petition reached its target, the longest wait for any eligible petition on the government website.

The government response to the petition twice references a paper that it says will be released this year.  It also refers to a 'cross-government Child Sexual Abuse Strategy' that it says will be 'published shortly'.  Almost six months later neither has materialised.

On the day the government responded to the petition, Priti Patel said: "Victims of these sickening child sex abuse groups have told me how they were let down by the state in the name of political correctness.  What happened to these children remains one of the biggest stains on our country’s conscience.  It is shameful.  I am determined to deliver justice for victims and ensure something like this can never happen again".

The Home Secretary talks a good talk and she appears sincere, but clearly she is up against a number of obstacles - primarily a civil service determined to undermine and even sabotage her work.  We've seen this recently by internal leaks regarding her attempts to stem the flow of migrants across the Channel.

Whether it's bogus asylum seekers or grooming gangs, at some point she is going to have to deliver.  Kicking either issue into the long grass will not be appreciated in working class communities who lent the Tories their vote last December.

GROOMING GANGS RESPONSE STILL PENDING

The grooming gangs petition that enjoyed major success at the beginning of last month appears to have been put on the back-burner during the coronacrisis.  The petition aims to force the government to release Home Office findings into grooming gang activity, as promised by previous Home Secretary Sajid Javid.  However, that investigation was pledged almost two years ago and Javid was later accused of shelving it.  Priti Patel, his successor as Home Secretary, reportedly enquired about the whereabouts of the report in February.  Later that month the government said it would not be releasing the findings of the report as it would not be in the 'public interest'.

Following the government's refusal to act, the petition was set up on the government website.  A few days later on March 5 the petition crossed the 10,000 name threshold required for a government response.  Five days later it broke through the 100,000 barrier required to be considered for a Parliamentary debate.  At this point the government had yet to respond.  It's perfectly understandable that a Parliamentary debate during the present crisis is not necessarily a top priority for government, but over a month later they have not even issued a response.

It's worth noting that the World Health Organisation didn't declare a pandemic until March 11 and the UK government didn't issue its first advice until March 12.  Could no-one seriously find the time to respond to the petition prior to this?

Of course they could.  In any case, other petitions on the same website have garnered a government response during the present crisis - more than twenty in fact.  The list of petitions having received a government response in the last few weeks include calls to make hedgehogs a protected species and introduce legislation for motorists passing horses.  No-one is going to detract from these causes, but neither petition received half the number of signatures received in relation to grooming gangs, a national scandal that has wrecked thousands of lives.

Most of the recent petitions the government has responded to have barely crossed the 10,000 mark, let alone got close to the 100,000 threshold.  On this very day the government responded to a petition calling for the UK to close its borders.  The number of signatures on this currently stands at less than 15,000.

While the grooming gangs petition is by all means not the only petition awaiting a response - there are 19 in all - it is the petition that has been awaiting a response the longest.

Coronavirus should not and must not be used as a means to bury this scandal once again.  To do so would make this government no better than the local authorities and police forces that have covered up these gangs for decades.

If you want to add your name to the petition, please click here.

GROOMING PETITION NEARS 100K

The petition calling on the government to released the Home Office report into grooming gang activity has doubled in size over the weekend.  The government was obligated to respond when it crossed the 10,000 threshold four days ago.  The response is yet to materialise, although they've a lot on their plate at the moment to be fair.  The petition will cross the 100,000 threshold in the next few hours, making it eligible for a debate in Parliament.  Labour's suspension of Trevor Phillips has already brought this scandal back into the news again, so it's vital to keep up the pressure.  Click on the image below to sign.

RELEASE THE REPORT

We rarely share online petitions any more.  They are overwhelmingly futile, ignored by the powers that be and seriously - what has Change.org ever actually changed anyway?  It's been almost a year since we last shared a petition and many told us at the time that it was pointless.  That petition was for a no deal Brexit on April 12th.  It reached the required 100,000 threshold to be considered for a debate in Parliament, but we know how the story ended thereafter.

A new petition currently doing the rounds is also directed at the government, namely their refusal to release a report into grooming gangs.  By covering up the findings they're no better than the Labour councils and police forces that have aided the criminals for decades.  Last month Priti Patel reportedly demanded to know what had happened to the report, but then two weeks later the government announced that it was shelving the report as it was "not in the public interest".  Sajid Javid, who preceded Priti Patel as Home Secretary had previously said there would be "no no-go areas of inquiry".  What on earth is going on?

Perhaps this petition can help force the government's hand?  Maybe not, but it has quickly surpassed the 10,000 name threshold for which the government is required to respond.  It has also attracted publicity and anything that raises the profile of this hushed up national scandal must be a good thing.  At the time of writing the petition is almost halfway to the 100,000 threshold required to be considered for a debate.  Click on the image below to sign.

BIG PETITION ON WAY

Remoaners currently bouncing off the walls of their rubber rooms have predictably turned to the government petition website to get their message across.  Helped along by media publicity, the anti-prorogation petition has quickly amassed more than a million signatures.  You'll recall that the media helped manufacture another big anti-Brexit petition earlier this year.  That petition included some rather dodgy signatures and it appears that this latest effort is no different.

Only British citizens and UK residents are eligible to sign government petitions and a postcode and email address have to be provided.  Yet strangely thousands of signatures are being collected from around the world, as shown below.  While many originate in EU countries, there are multiple entries from places as far apart as Brazil, China, Bermuda and Bahrain.

Perhaps finally the Remain lobby can smash the 17.4 million barrier, with a little help from Denmark, Greece and Fiji!

ABOLISH THE BBC

The Beeb's decision to abolish free TV licences for the over 75s has sparked a shit storm.  It's been a long time coming.  In the age of Netflix, YouTube and countless other entertainment avenues, people of all ages are beginning to ask why they are required to pay for the privilege of a handful of BBC channels they rarely, if ever, watch.  What's more, unless you're a leftie, liberal and/or remoaner, why on earth would you want to pay for a media outlet that aims to indoctrinate its viewers with politically correct anti-British anti-Brexit bias?  If you don't like the political stance of a certain newspaper, you wouldn't buy it would you?

The Beeb's latest bare-faced cheek comes just a matter of days after the D-Day commemorations, where we remembered the sacrifices of many thousands of young Brits on the beaches of Normandy.  Now the surviving veterans of that battle, and the many that followed, are being asked to stump up even more cash to fund the likes of Gary 'Revoke Article 50' Lineker and Graham 'Let's Take The Piss Out Of Trump & The Tories' Norton.  That jug-eared numpty picked up almost £2million last year alone.

If you're angry about this issue, or just angry about this hideous tax and the BBC in general, please sign the petition.  It's been up and running for months, but the furore unleashed in the last 24 hours has sent the numbers spiralling upwards and it will now be considered for Parliamentary debate.  Keep up the pressure and join the boycott!

MORE BY-ELECTIONS PLEASE

Given the near fatal blow suffered by 'Change UK' today, this is a timely petition.  Six of those MPs have now resigned from two different parties this year and not a single by-election has been fought and won.  When Douglas Carswell and Mark Reckless defected from the Tories to UKIP in 2014 they both instigated by-elections.  As they both won those by-elections they spent the rest of that Parliamentary term legitimately elected as UKIP MPs.  So come on Soubry and co - what are you afraid of?

NO DEAL PETITION PASSES 200K

With the absence of celebrity endorsements and 24/7 news coverage the 'no deal petition' is faltering.  Some have argued that petitions are futile, and point to the failure of the 'revoke article 50' media-sponsored petition.  Maybe so, but it's worth noting that since that petition did the rounds we are now much closer to no Brexit at all, especially with another extension promised and Theresa May involving the one person who is more incompetent than her - Jeremy Corbyn.

If it's the only act you carry out today in support of the Leave mandate at least you will have done something.  Sign here or click on the image below, and don't forget to activate your signature by clicking on the email that you receive.

NO DEAL PETITION CROSSES 100K THRESHOLD

The pro-Brexit no deal petition launched on Parliament's website has now breached the 100,000 threshold required for it to be considered for a debate.  We need to get this petition up to a million very quickly.  Why?  Because when the famous "Revoke Article 50" petition reached a million signatures the media circus swung into action.  In fact some news outlets started pushing it as a story before it reached a million.  If there is a blanket media silence on a pro-Brexit petition at the same stage, then the bias will be clear for all to see.

Please sign, share and make aware!

NO DEAL, NO DELAY

MPs fought for the meaningful vote.  Thankfully they got it, otherwise we could now be staring at an awful Brexit.  But make no mistake, few of them (if any) fought for it so they could rubber stamp a deal and respect the referendum.  No, they saw it as just another opportunity to subvert the will of the people and block Brexit.  They may yet succeed, but time is running out and if the government survives tomorrow's vote the ball is very much in the court of May.

What is clear from various polls and the general mood of the nation is that fear of 'no deal' is falling away fast.  The scare stories are not having the desired effect, apart from terrifying the brainless morons in the Remain camp who will swallow anything.  We know now from what we were told before the referendum that Project Fear Mk II is the boy who cried wolf.  We're not buying it.

So let's have it.  Sign the petition and let's get the ball rolling towards a clean no deal Brexit...

THE HOUSE OF SHAME

by Richey Edwards

It is a great irony that a place in which members are referred to as 'honourable' is so seriously lacking in 'honour'.  It no longer comes as a surprise when disgraced members cling to their membership like barnacles on an old boat, or should that be gravy boat?

Last year we had one of the most inept and useless MPs in the history of the Commons suspended by his party, then reinstated before resigning in order to sit as an 'independent'.  Jared O'Mara was surely selected as a paper candidate with no thought given to him actually unseating Nickolarse Clegg, and thereafter proving himself to be way out of his depth when he surprisingly defeated the Lib Dem.  However, the young lad now has access to all the generosity afforded its members by the House of Commons.  So, instead of resigning from a job he cannot do, he chooses to cling to the gravy train and make the most of its perks before he is deposed as the 'honourable' member for Sheffield Hallam at the next election.

What of his predecessor?  Well, if anything exposes how corrupt and self-serving our political elite is, it is the fact that he is now to be known as 'Sir' Nickolarse Clegg.  Knighted in the New Year's Honours List of 2018, just six months after being dumped by his constituents in favour of O'Mara, for 'political and public service'.  He had been an MP for twelve years.  Perhaps it was a pay off for going to bed with the Tories in 2010, either a backhand requirement of the coalition deal or just the political elite looking after one of their own.  We'll never know, but it soured the entire 'honours' system for even its most ardent supporters.  That word again - 'honour'.  Dished out over the years with such random and numerous disregard, with little thought or consideration about what the word means and what it has carried throughout history - 'knight' - the harsh reality is that someone who refuses to have the title bestowed on them possesses more guts and honour than the bunch of politicos, singers and sports people who roll up to collect them.

Now, back to the gravy train of Westminster.  As if we didn't already know how disgraceful the Houses have become in recent years, up pops the fairly anonymous member for Peterborough - Fiona Onasanya.  Perhaps, like Jared, the party never imagined she would defeat the incumbent (the Conservative Stewart Jackson).  Alas, she did.  A little more than twelve months after her surprise victory Onasanya was charged with perverting the course of justice.  She was convicted last month and will be sentenced in the coming weeks.  Is she still an MP?  Of course!

Now perhaps it is a case of individual arrogance and not necessarily a sign of the overall decline of our political system, because this lady does indeed possess it in abundance.  Asides from her aspiration to be Britain's first black Prime Minister (pause for chuckle), she bizarrely compared herself to Christ and his disciples following her conviction.  However, these proceedings followed hot on the heels of the Kate Osamor fiasco, who still reportedly has her convict son on the payroll in Westminster.  Yes, symptomatic of a bigger picture alright.

Yet there are those who empower such shameful and dishonorable individuals.  Owen Jones, for instance, has excused the actions of Osamor's son, instead blaming the 'right wing press' for trying to bring down the MP (and of course, it's because she's black).  No, Owen, she has brought herself down, or she should have done by now.  But doing the honorable thing and falling on one's sword is not the way of Westminster these days.  Today the Peterborough Telegraph went one step further in legitimising such shameful behaviour.

In a move that will surely alienate many of its readers, the Telegraph features the convict as a guest columnist!  Already alarmed at the fact their local MP is a criminal, imagine their dismay when they see said criminal staring back at them from their local rag as a contributor?  Although the editor acknowledges these concerns at the top of the article he doesn't even bother defending his decision.  This is normalising what should be universally condemned.  And in any case who in their right mind is asking the question "I wonder how our disgraced local MP is going to vote on Tuesday"?  According to the Spectator, Onasanya appears to have been absent from the Commons since Christmas, making further mockery of Parliament and the ludicrous editorial decision of the Peterborough Telegraph.

Onasanya will only lose her seat if she is receives a sentence longer than twelve months.  Unlikely, but a custodial sentence of less than a year and she can be ejected by way of a petition.  It's a long drawn out process that frustrated one of our supporters to such a degree that he applied for a petition of his own.  Simon, from Yorkshire, posted a petition on the Downing Street website calling for MPs who are found guilty of crime to be removed from office.  Well, just look at the response he received on being told his petition was being rejected.

The petition made no mention of "Ministers", and it was not about "honours or appointments" or "government policy" either.  Did the recipient even read Simon's petition or is this just another example of the establishment looking after its own?

Unprompted, a customer said to me the other day that they could see no wrong in a modern day Guy Fawkes proceeding to wipe Parliament (and its parasitic inhabitants) off the map.  It's becoming increasingly difficult not to sympathise with such a sentiment.

UN PETITION SET TO SMASH 100k MARK

The petition against the despicable UN Compact agreement will smash the 100k mark today, possibly before the government has even issued its required 10k response!  Well done to everyone who has signed thus far.  We must defend our borders, migration to our shores (or anyone else's) is not a right to everyone on this planet.
