MEME MONDAY EXTRA: RAYNER'S PORTRAIT

As promised, we had a little fun with the presentation that took place in Westminster last week.  One of the original images can be seen above.

All the following efforts were posted on Facebook and we asked followers to like and share their favourites.  They are presented below in ascending order of favourability, beginning with three website exclusives that did not make the cut.

MEME MONDAY #25

Quite possible a record breaking week for memes, Karl was on fire last week.  There were also a couple of possible firsts.  The star meme, which went viral on both X and Facebook, was reissued with design tweaks two days later to account for the disgraceful release of MP Mike Amesbury.  The following day Karl republished a meme because he spotted a small typo in it!  He's a perfectionist...

Mon 24 Feb - 128 shares on Facebook
Mon 24 Feb - 138 shares

** STAR MEME **

Tue 25 Feb - 2,858 shares

Tue 25 Feb - 21 shares
Wed 26 Feb - 162 shares
Wed 26 Feb - 772 shares
Thurs 27 Feb - 1,004 shares.  The tweaking and reissue of this meme after just
two days marked a very sad, angry and frustrating day as Amesbury's release
served up another prime example of Two Tier Britain.
Fri 28 Feb - 215 shares.  This meme replaced the original after Karl
spotted a typo.  The number of shares is for both versions combined.
Fri 28 Feb - 349 shares
Sat 1 Mar - 29 shares
Sat 1 Mar - 994 shares
Sun 2 Mar - 1,383 shares.  The response to this meme was interesting, in
that it confirmed we still have a few warmonger media lemmings following
the page.  Some of them threatened to unfollow after this meme.  Bye then!

LABOUR TO GOVERN BY RACE

Labour frontbencher Anneliese Dodds has offered a glimpse into how her party might govern after the general election.  Last week she posted a racially divisive tweet, bemoaning the plight of black, Asian and ethnic minority-run businesses 'held back by the Conservatives' economic chaos'.

Just non-white businesses, Anneliese?  Needless to say, the tweet drew a furious response from Twitter users, exasperated by Labour's descent into an openly anti-white entity.

Dodds, who was briefly shadow chancellor, attached an article from the Birmingham Mail.  The article detailed Dodds' meeting with black and minority ethnic (BME) business leaders in the city, reporting that Labour would single out BME entrepreneurs by scrapping business rates and replacing them with 'a new system of business taxation to create a level playing field'.  That doesn't sound discriminatory at all, does it?

Just as the US Democrats have weaponised race to divide Americans, it seems their UK sister party is on track to do the same in government.  Five years of Labour could see critical race theory entering the curriculum and other openly anti-white legislation on the books.  This is what the Democrats refer to as 'positive discrimination'.

Twitter users vented their dismay at Dodds' tweet and many of these replies were eminently more popular than Dodds' original tweet.  Despite being seen over a million times, her tweet garnered barely 250 'likes', compared to thousands for some of the responses...

We are about to enter an age of racially divisive politics from the very people who accuse their opponents of racism.

As for Britain's economic 'chaos' referenced by Dodds, she repeatedly voted for the policies that caused the cost of lockdown crisis.  Each and every one of the crippling draconian restrictions during the scamdemic was strongly supported by Labour.  The Tories may have initiated the policies, but Labour were absolutely complicit.

POT, KETTLE, DODDS

There was a whiff of desperation from Labour as Rishi Sunak officially became PM on Tuesday.  They sent out Anneliese Dodds - the woman dropped as shadow chancellor in favour of the more presentable, but arguably less effective Rachel Reeves.  Tory musical chairs presented Labour with so many open goals, but what happened was a bizarre attack upon Sunak's record as chancellor.  Let's not forget - in fact, let's never forget - that all the rotten nanny state Covid measures trotted out by Johnson and Sunak were enthusiastically endorsed by Labour.  If anything, Starmer and co wanted more lockdowns - longer and harsher - furlough to be extended and benefits to be expanded.

While the Tories have bankrupted the nation for generations to come, with Labour at the helm the mountain of debt would have been even higher.

Dodds even managed to trot out the following line: "People didn't vote at the last election for a high tax, low growth economy".  She's not wrong there, they didn't vote for Labour.  However, thanks to the government's authoritarian response to Covid, they got a taste of Labour regardless.

The irony is either lost on Dodds or she's cynically well aware of it.  Either way, it's a dumb take for an opposition presented with a third PM in the space of three months.  Click below for the Scarecrow...

STARMER AT FRONTBENCHER'S BOOK LAUNCH

Keir Starmer has doubled down on his second jobs hypocrisy by attending a book launch by one of his own frontbenchers.  Nick Thomas-Symonds had spent the last fortnight promoting his 544 page biography of Harold Wilson, for which Starmer had already provided a quote for the cover.  On Wednesday night the Labour leader joined Thomas-Symonds for the official launch of his book (the book itself had already been on sale for a week).

Thomas-Symonds was also joined by Sky News presenter Wilfred Frost (son of David).  Frost appeared to throw his impartiality out of the window by praising the book and its author in a tweet.  "A great launch for a fabulous book, which I highly recommend. Congrats Nick!" he wrote.

Keir Starmer has repeatedly called for the banning of second jobs for MPs, with 'limited exceptions for public service'.  A good example of such an exception would be NHS doctor Rosena Allin-Khan, who is also a Labour frontbencher.  However, is a biographer or author really a 'public service' role Sir Keir?

Two other Labour frontbenchers - Anneliese Dodds and Catherine West - didn't take exception to Nick's second job as the latter proudly tweeted her attendance along with a photo posing with the author.

STELLA'S PENIS PROBLEM

by Richey Edwards

Labour backbencher Stella Creasy is an attention seeker of the highest order.  This is the woman who insisted on strapping her offspring to her bosom for every public appearance imaginable - including on the floor of the House of Commons.  This was, she explained due to a lack of affordable childcare.  As well as being an MP for a London constituency less than nine miles from Westminster, Stella is on an £82k salary and Parliament even has its own crèche.  When she was finally told to refrain from bringing her child into the Commons chamber it played right into her hands.  She proceeded to pour her heart out as a victim and made the most of the resulting publicity.

For Stella, everything must be about her.

LOOK AT ME: No-one ever had a baby before Stella

Creasy's been relatively quiet for a few weeks, but returned with a deliberately provocative interview published in Saturday's Daily Telegraph.  The headline was: 'JK Rowling is wrong – a woman can have a penis'.  In the opening line of the interview Stella appears to be interviewing herself - no surprise there - as she is quoted: "Do I think some women were born with penises?  Yes, but they are now women and I respect that."  Wow.

Despite her new-found trans stance, in this same interview she later refers to herself as an 'old-fashioned feminist'.  She continues: "I'm still fighting the patriarchy, I'm not interested in fighting among ourselves".  This statement directly contradicts the previous paragraph in which she lashes out at JK Rowling's sex-based feminism, or to put it correctly - feminism.

Creasy has taken up various feminist causes over the years and she declared in a 2014 interview that her parents 'taught her to be a feminist champion'.  Her latest views run counter to that, but perhaps she was just simply bored with the 'olf-fashioned feminist stuff'.  The Telegraph interview was subtitled with another quote from the interview: "Sometimes you have to break cover and be controversial".  If Creasy was being perfectly honest she should have said: "Sometimes I have to break cover and be controversial in order to draw attention to myself".

That was the intention, of course, and it worked.  The interview was featured in Twitter's trending topics and many high profile names piled in.  By Saturday evening the hashtag #labourlosingwomen was trending as the backlash grew.  Meanwhile, Stella was in her element and riding high on the attention that she craves.  After her interview first appeared, Creasy tweeted about it at least 40 times over three days, mostly in response to people and groups who had voiced criticism.  Despite saying in her interview that she wasn't interested in fighting feminists, she has taken plenty to task on Twitter in the last few days - including a group called Labour Women's Declaration, domestic abuse campaigner Dr Shonagh Dillon and JK Rowling herself.  The latter was a perfect example of Stella's rampant narcissism in action.

She had obviously been checking in on Rowling's account on Saturday for some kind of response to her interview.  This would have been the ultimate dopamine hit for Creasy, but alas, nothing appeared to be forthcoming.  However, on Saturday afternoon Rowling tweeted an article about the vulnerabilities of female prisoners at a New Jersey women's prison where male prisoners identifying as female were being transferred.  Rowling accompanies the article with the line: "These are the real world consequences of redefining woman to include the penised".  There was no mention of Stella Creasy, but the MP saw it differently...

A narcissist would 'presume' it was about them, but unfortunately Stella did not get the exchange she longed for as Rowling gave her the cold shoulder.  It was a bit like the Gallagher brothers feud in which the younger participant obsesses about the other, while the older largely ignores him.  It was Creasy who criticised Rowling in her interview and here she does so again, while bizarrely accusing Rowling of 'attacking' her - which only happened inside Stella's burgeoning head.

While Creasy declared in her interview that her new-found trans views were 'controversial', this twisted ideology is now mainstream on the far left - as long ago as February 2020 Dawn Butler declared that children are 'born without sex'.  And so-called Labour moderates such as Keir Starmer and many of his frontbenchers are scared to death to say anything to upset the trans lobby.  They would rather tie themselves up in knots and risk offending half of the entire population, than upset an ultra tiny minority of noisy nutjobs.  The issue of self-identification could even derail a Labour victory at the next general election, undermining what Starmer would present as a serious political party following the hard left years of Corbyn.  How could women vote for a party that cannot even guarantee them their sex-based rights?

It's absurd, but following Creasy's interview a frontbencher made it clear that Starmer's team were far from united on the issue.  On Sunday morning Sky's Sophy Ridge put Creasy's remarks to Labour chair Anneliese Dodds.  Surprisingly for a politician these days, Dodds provided a straight answer - she did not agree with Creasy and argued in favour of human biology.  One can only imagine the abuse Dodds received for daring to speak science to fiction, albeit she did use a get out of jail clause later in her response.

Click below for the clip.

You'll notice that Dodds does her bit to reassure the trans lobby by suggesting that gender can be assigned, trotting out the line that sex and gender are separate entities.  This clause will still set biological women's rights back if it means anyone can assume a female identity.  The only prominent Labour figure to speak out against trans ideology unequivocally is the esteemed Labour peer and biologist Professor Robert Winston.  Last year he told a BBC Question Time audience that no-one could change their sex, as it is in every single cell of the human body.  As a biologist for almost six decades and with more letters after his name than there are letters in the alphabet, he should know what's what.

Stella Creasy has a PhD in 'social psychology'.

Of course by writing this article and paying her attention, I assuage Creasy's narcissism.  I'm not alone.  Many articles have appeared in the last few days to counter and ridicule her absurd attention-seeking stance, from the Spectator to Spiked.  I write about it, not because I want to give her attention, but in order to present such warped views to a wider audience.  If we are to hold back the tide of twisted so-called 'progressive' ideologies, we must expose them.

DOWDY DODDS' MAKEOVER

Anneliese Dodds sported a dramatic new look for her appearance on the Marr Show last weekend.  Her usual bedraggled appearance gave way to a sharp professional look, with dowdy dresses and straggly ginger locks nowhere to be seen.  We know Boris Johnson recently had a haircut, but it was his girlfriend who did it - hardly a major transformation for a man who generally looks like he's just fell out of bed.  Who worked their magic to transform Dodds?  Is it another case of rules for thee, but not for me?

Clearly, the Shadow Chancellor has woken up to the fact that she has to at least make an effort if she is ever to be seen as a potential rival to the slick Rishi Sunak.  According to a poll last month, non-entity Dodds is less popular among Labour voters than her Tory opponent.

It's a big week for her as she will have to provide Labour's response to the Budget, something that will undoubtedly entail criticism of any tax rises.  Yes, it's probably not wise to hit workers in the pocket at the precise moment the economy needs to bounce back, but at some point a hike in taxation is inevitable.  That is the reality of the huge black hole of debt our country is in - no thanks to Labour and other opposition parties for bolstering the government's disastrous policies in bringing about such levels of debt in the first place.

DODDS INTERVIEW GATECRASHED

The new Shadow Chancellor was introduced to many TV viewers this morning, but her appearance will be remembered for an unscheduled cameo from her young daughter, much to the amusement of Kay Burley.  Watch below.

Annaliese Dodds is not a name that will be familiar to many.  Elected for Oxford East in 2017, the Scot has been an MP for even less time than Keir Starmer.  Prior to entering Parliament she was the Labour MEP for South East England and a university lecturer before that.  Dodds made several runs for elected office dating back to the 2005 general election when she stood for Billericay in Essex.  A year later she tried and failed to get elected to Oxford City Council.  In the 2010 general election she stood in Reading East.  Having failed again she managed to get herself selected at the top of her party list for the 2014 European elections.  Now an MEP she skipped the 2015 general election, but once again sought Westminster office in the 2017 snap election, having seen her place on the EU gravy train threatened by the 2016 Leave vote.

From all of this we can safely assume that Dodds is a career politician, and it will be of course no surprise to anyone to discover that she is an ardent Remainer too.

BALLOON HEADS ON THE MARCH

Little Owen is currently headlining a bunch of fascist lefties gathering in London to protest against Boris Johnson and the Leave mandate.  Labour MPs Clive Lewis, Marsha de Cordova and Anneliese Dodds are among the remoaners addressing the crowd.

The losers have also shelled out on a rather pathetic cartoon 'blimp' of Boris Johnson.  We say 'blimp', but it's actually just a big balloon that floats a few feet off the ground.  It's fair to say that the left has hit rock bottom with these playground antics, throwing shed loads of money at gimmicks that make themselves look idiotic rather than the people who the balloons are supposed to represent.  The fact the morons can't see it shows how much they share with their daft balloons ie. they're both full of hot air and little else.

For some reason Owen had to pull out of his big speech today, "for personal reasons" he tweeted.  A huge loss for the crowd no doubt, half of whom think he's an annoying little narcissist gobshite as much as anyone on the right does.
