The pre-winter rush gave way to a big lull in crossings that began back on October 8. This was followed by zero crossings last week, which may or may not have been largely down to choppy conditions in the Channel. These poor weather conditions culminated in near gale force winds towards the end of the week, making crosssings impossible. Mixed conditions are expected this week, with more strong winds expected again towards the end of the week. It could be a while before the next crossings.
BUT THEY WILL COME!
