BEGUM LAWYER MARKS FALL OF KABUL

A solicitor who acted on behalf of Shamima Begum and others who left Britain for the ISIL caliphate greeted the fall of Kabul yesterday with the following tweet...

Condemnation led Mr Akunjee to issue the bizarre defence that he was simply comparing the Taliban to the violent gang described in the lyrics of the Thin Lizzy song The Boys Are Back in Town.  However, despite his spirited defence he has since deleted the original tweet.  Unfortunately for him, the internet does not forget.

Two years ago Mr Akunjee went head to head with conservative commentator Emma Webb on the case for Begum's return.  The one hour debate at the Oxford Union can be seen below.

A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING

Shamima Begum has undergone a dramatic makeover that would shame any self-respecting Islamist.  Now 21, the former Daesh terrorist was sought out for an interview by the Daily Telegraph.  Intriguingly, she refused to give an interview, but agreed to pose for a series of photographs.  Dressed in a tracksuit top, loose fitting t-shirt and not a hijab in sight, her motivation behind the photo shoot is not difficult to fathom.

Begum clearly still harbours a desire to return to her country of birth and why wouldn't she?  Here, she can live a life of relative luxury at the expense of the British taxpayer.  She would undoubtedly provide nothing positive to society whatsoever, while reaping all the benefits that Western society offers.  There is a name for that in the natural world - it's called a parasite.

There is irony in abundance here.  This is the girl who turned her back on Britain and was still espousing the values of the Islamic State long after her capture by the Kurds.  Now she longs for the despotic West that Daesh vowed to destroy.

Over time Begum has realised that while Britain is a soft touch, its government can be swayed by public opinion and that is where her cause continues to fall drastically short.  Her first makeover last year was much more subtle than her current guise, but its intention was the same.  Gone was the black hijab, replaced by a purple headscarf and lighter clothing.  Placed very deliberately in the background was a Union flag cushion.

This photo shoot and the accompanying interview failed to soften the resolve of the British people.  In any case, she was still unrepentant in her assertion she had done anything wrong in the first place.

Perhaps this is the reason why she declined to speak to the Telegraph.  She still holds onto this belief and can't quite let go of her Islamist roots.  She can prostitute herself for the cameras in a desperate bid to invite sympathy, but she can't quite speak the words that would condemn her past and the terrorists with whom she allied herself.  She is a fraud and the Daily Telegraph should be ashamed of itself for entertaining her.

PLEA FOR LABOUR TO HELP BEGUM

A supporter of Islamist Shamima Begum has written to the Lancashire Telegraph calling on the Labour Party to get behind her case.  Malcolm Pittock appears to question whether the Starmer leadership would be prepared to do such a thing.  Given Sir Squeaky's overtures to the patriotic instincts of the working class, he's probably right.

His letter can be seen below.
"It is to be hoped that the Labour Party will take up the case of Shamima Begum, a former British citizen who was deprived of her citizenship after she went at 15 to join Isis.

Realistically, she can only apply for it to be restored if she can come to Britain to plead her case in a British court.

But the Supreme Court has now overturned the decision of the Appeal Court that she could on the grounds that in matters of national security the courts have no jurisdiction.

The Home Secretary’s decision cannot be overruled by the courts as she alone is in a position to assess whether Shamima is a threat to national security.

But Priti Patel cannot tell us what the evidence is that Shamima is a continuing threat to national security as her evidence is secret.

So this young woman, who has lost her three children faces indefinite imprisonment in a Kurdish run camp where conditions are appalling and she is under armed guard.

She has been completely denied any access to justice and is clearly the victim of tyranny.

The only organisation which could possibly save her is the Parliamentary Labour Party if is prepared to take up her case.  Under Corbyn it certainly would have done.  But under Starmer?

Well we shall see".

Malcolm Pittock
He's quite right about the previous Labour leadership too.  In fact Corbyn and his frontbench comrades Abbott and Thornberry repeatedly called for Begum to be able to return to the UK.  They knew, as we all do, that once back on British soil she would never leave.

Watch below.

Incidentally, why is Begum singled out anyway?  Note that these lefties never raise the case of Jack Letts aka 'Jihadi Jack', a white middle class Daesh recruit who is also languishing in a Kurdish prison camp.  For the record, BTLP believe that Begum and Letts should be treated equally - they should both be left to rot in the Syrian desert.

MOST SHARED: WEEK 275

For the second week in a row the most shared title is related to the return of Daesh terrorist Shamima Begum.  After appeal court judges ruled that she must return to the UK to plead her case (and therefore never leave) it was revealed that Keir Starmer was one of many Labour frontbenchers who condemned the government's decision to strip her of British citizenship.  He told Sky's Sophy Ridge in March 2019 that the then home secretary was wrong to do so and argued that measures were in place to facilitate her safe return (all extremely costly to the British taxpayer).  The video is here.

MOST SHARED: WEEK 274

News that Shamima Begum could return to the UK thanks to treacherous judiciary naturally provoked national outrage.  Feelings are particularly high because we all know that once she is back she will be back for good.  Furthermore, there is little confidence that she will face justice for her crimes.  While her membership of Daesh is not in any doubt, this wouldn't put her away for long.  As for other terrorist offences it would be almost impossible to prove guilt in a UK court.  The crimes occurred thousands of miles away, there is no physical evidence and many of the witnesses would either be dead or languishing in refugee camps in the desert.  Put simply, we are going to have to get used to the idea of her living out the rest of her days in this country at great expense to the taxpayer.  Thanks again, judges.

STARMER BACKED BEGUM'S RETURN

There has been a deafening silence from the Labour front bench over the return of Shamima Begum since the appeal court ruling last Thursday.  However, when Keir Starmer was previously asked about the case he expressed support for Begum's return.

On 10 March last year Starmer appeared on Sophy Ridge on Sunday and was asked if he thought Shamima Begum had been 'failed by the government'.  His immediate response was to denounce the decision of the then home secretary Sajid Javid: "Well I think the decision by the Home Secretary was the wrong decision and I think it was a rushed decision".  Starmer tried to evoke sympathy for Begum by twice referring to the death of her child.  He didn't refer to the ethnic cleansing or any other atrocities carried out by the organisation that Begum was breeding children for.

Starmer made it clear that he wants Begum to return and if there is not enough evidence to prosecute she could be made liable to a prevention order.  Of course this will all come at great expense and as we have seen in the past - to deadly effect - our police and intelligence services are already overwhelmed by the sheer number of dangerous Islamists at large in Britain.  Why does this one individual matter more to Labour than the safety of the British people?

As with his reprehensible support for Black Lives Matter, there's no escaping from his support for Begum either.  Watch below.

LABOUR WOULD HAVE BEGUM BACK

It's well documented that the Labour Party is more than sympathetic to many terrorist causes around the world.  It's no surprise then that whenever the issue of Daesh returnees raises its head, senior party figures immediately spring to the defence of the Islamists.  As far as Labour are concerned, the human rights of killers, rapists, torturers and terrorists trumps the rights of law abiding British citizens to live in a safe environment.

Shamima Begum made her bed and she is unrepentant about it.  If she wishes to continue living in an Islamic society, free of the vile kuffar way of life that she despises - let her go forth to Bangladesh or rot in the desert.  Either way, most British people are fine with that.

ABBOTT VS JAVID

Diane Abbott was very emotional at the despatch box yesterday, ranging from anger to sorrow, as she spoke about her latest pet project Shamima Begum.  She again accused her opposite number of being to blame for the death of Begum's baby, as well as being on the wrong side of international law.  Watch the full exchange below.

DON'T ASK US TO WEEP, DIANE

by Richey Edwards

The death of Shamima Begum's baby is nothing to be celebrated, albeit the whole situation could and should have been avoided.  It would have been avoided if she hadn't chosen to leave the comfort of the liberal West - her home, creature comforts and future family funded by the toil of British tax payers - in favour of a Third World existence in the desert caliphate of the Islamic State, a region targeted by aerial bombardment and surrounded on all sides by enemies.

That's a fact.

In life we all have to take responsibility for the choices we make.  Sure, the snowflake generation looks to absolve itself of such things, never accepting responsibility for anything.  That's why snowflakes will always fail, in education, in work, in life.

Shamima Begum is no snowflake.  She knows real hardship and she was unfazed by the horrific acts she witnessed.  However, the Islamic State she chose - over Britain - now lies in total ruins and she lives on Kurdish soil.  She doesn't much like it, but it is a consequence of the choice she made.

Thankfully, her frequent appeals to Britain have fallen mostly on deaf ears.  Except that is, for the liberal-left media and, of course, the Labour party.  Both the liberal elite and the left are ultimately responsible for the snowflake generation and naturally they have sought to absolve Shamima Begum of all her responsibilities.  Take Diane Abbott, for instance.

Diane has been tweeting incessantly about the death of Begum's baby since the small hours of this morning.  The language deployed by Abbott carefully removes all blame from the individual at the heart of the tragedy and lays it at the feet of others.  See below.

You may note that Diane's tweets continue throughout the night up to 4am in the morning.  Not sure why this is, perhaps she was up all night weeping into a champagne glass with Shami Chakrabarti?

Anyway, I digress.  She says the death is a "stain on the conscience of government".  She says Sajid Javid has behaved "shamefully" and he had a "moral responsibility for the baby".  She consistently describes the child as "British".  All of this language is designed to create sympathy for Shamima Begum and to blame her entire predicament on others, namely the British government.  It is both laughable and insulting when Diane says Begum would have faced "British justice" because we all know that in the (highly unlikely) scenario that Begum had faced charges the first person to be raging from the Twittersphere about it would have been Diane lovesmeaterrorist Abbott.

Everything Diane has tweeted today is disingenuous, at best.  At worst it is the mindset of someone who has dedicated her life to the cause of terrorists, but only those terrorists who seek to undermine the capitalist West, and imperialist Britain in particular.  It is why the old-school lefties running the Labour party adored the Marxist IRA in the 1970s and 80s, painted the terrorist Nelson Mandela as a 'victim' and have, for the past thirty years or more, looked to establish an unspoken alliance with the Islamist fifth column in towns and cities up and down this land.  We will take up your concerns about Palestine and the Middle East, we will hate on your enemies (especially the Jews), we will cover up the grooming activity of your community and wave through all your planning applications - in return you will vote for us.  Even your dead relatives will vote for us.

Diane Abbott and her party do not weep for the victims of terrorism, in fact they do not even see it as terrorism.  When the children of the Manchester Arena were blown up Diane described it as an "incident".  Weeks later when Islamists went on the rampage in London, she again dismissed it as an "incident".  When a white man rammed his van into Muslim worshippers, no this was a "terror attack" and the police must protect all mosques!

She did not weep for the boys murdered by terrorists in Warrington.   She shed no tears for the children and unborn children murdered by terrorists in Omagh.  She ignored the plight of the children butchered by Mandela's terrorists in South Africa.  She's oblivious to the thousands of children raped, tortured and murdered by Daesh terrorists in Syria and Iraq, but she is extremely concerned about one dead child who happenned to be the child of one of those Daesh terrorists.

So go on, Diane, ask us to weep for him.  The BBC will hear you, the Guardian and the Mirror will hear you.  Generation snowflake will hear you.  However, those of us who take responsibility for our actions - including Sajid Javid - we just couldn't give a shit.

HYPOCRITE FEMINISTS EXPLOITED

by Richey Edwards

Above is an image tweeted yesterday by a journalist called Shamim Chowdhury, more on her later.  The photo shows four feminists holding placards in support of Daesh bride Shamima Begum.  Yes, you read that correctly - four 'feminists' out on the streets of the British capital in support of a girl who voluntarily left the British capital to go and live in an Islamist caliphate governed by the most misogynistic doctrine ever known to humankind.  In said caliphate it is not known how many thousands of women were raped, tortured and murdered, but what we do know for certain is that Shamima Begum does not regret being a part of it and by her own words sees nothing wrong in harming non-Muslims.  That statement clearly includes Yazidi women, who as we know were raped en masse by Daesh fighters.

"WOMEN DEMAND LIBERATION" says the placard on the right.  OK, so presumably you were on the streets protesting when Daesh were rampaging across Syria and Iraq taking thousands of women prisoners and raping them?

The hypocrisy is staggering.  Don't they care about those Yazidi women?  Are Yazidi women less worthy?  Or are we just "scapegoating women for male violence" as the placard third from the left states?  Well, no.  Shamima Begum has stated she is unfazed by beheadings.  Can there be a much more sadistic act of violence than sawing someone's head from their body with a knife?  In any case, surely now - free from the reaches of the dismantled Islamic State - she would be well placed to declare sympathy for the victims of the male violence?  Nope.  If anything she has justified it, on the basis that the victims are not Muslims.

Forgive me, but the four ladies in the photo don't look like fanatical Muslims.  Their hair is exposed, they are wearing tight fitting jeans, and - crucially - they are not accompanied by men.  It's almost as if they don't comprehend the nature of the Islamist beast they are, by proxy, supporting.  Again, the hypocrisy is staggering.

The journalist who tweeted the picture is actually a Muslim.  Shamim Chowdhury works for the Turkish-based TRT World news network, a global outlet that appears to promote a Turkish pro-Erdogan anti-European agenda, and as we know the Turks were facilitators in the rise of Islamic State.  It's no secret that nearly all Daesh recruits from Europe entered Syria via Turkey, including Shamima Begum.  The Turks had their own ethno-religious interests in the Syria conflict ie. the extermination of the Kurds.

Chowdhury is a classic example of a fifth column operative, born in London, but working to undermine her host nation on behalf of a foreign force.  Like Shamima Begum she is the daughter of Bangladeshis, but that is where the similarity ends.  Begum left her host nation to live an ultra-religious subordinate life away from dar al-harb (the lands of war ie. those unconquered by Islam).  Chowdhury has chosen to remain in the dar al-harb and blend in, no head scarfs etc, but with an ulterior motive.  There is apparently no shortage of stupid white feminists and self-hating leftists lining up to be exploited by people like Chowdhury for an agenda that is anything but 'feminist'.

What has this got to do with the Labour party?  We know leftists support any individual or group that is willing to attack and undermine our nation, Jeremy Corbyn has been leading that charge for more than 30 years.  So when I looked into the Islamist journalist Shamim Chowdhury and found that of all the 447 people we currently follow on our Twitter page only ONE follows Chowdhury.  You can imagine my surprise when I found that person to be Jeremy Corbyn.

MOST SHARED: WEEK 201

A BTLP original, shared 5,841 times via our Facebook page.  We put this together in the wake of Abbott's speech in the Commons, a speech that came as no particular surprise to anyone.

When the Shamima story broke we all expected Labour figures to spring to her defence, but in actual fact they stayed silent for several days.  It wasn't until Tuesday night when Labour's Stella Creasy condemned Sajid Javid's decision to revoke Shamima's citizenship.  The following day Diane Abbott stood up in the Commons and condemned Javid face to face with the forceful rigour of someone who had dedicated her life to supporting terrorists and people who hate our country.  Then, the day after that, Corbyn himself expressed his support for Shamima.

It's a curious beast 'the left'.  They are born into a nation and share that nation's blood, culture and history.  Yet despite enjoying all the privileges and freedoms won by their ancestors they despise it and work to destroy it from within.  It's treachery of the highest order.

DERBY COUNCILLOR SLAMS CORBYN

Not all Labour folk are impressed with Corbyn and Abbott's support for Daesh bride Shamima Begum.  The former Mayor of Derby has expressed disgust at his leader's sympathetic approach, but says he won't be leaving the party.  Cllr Paul Pegg gave the following detailed statement to the Derby Telegraph.

"His views are not my views, nor are they the views of the majority of the real Labour party or the views of the majority of the ordinary citizens of Derby and especially the Mackworth Ward Labour Party.  I have supported our troops throughout the conflicts in the Middle East. How could I look the parents in the eye, who lost their innocent children at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester or the children and families of troops killed in action, or the families of the volunteers who went out to the Middle East to help with the humanitarian aid and were beheaded, if I supported such a statement.

Yes I could walk away from the Labour party and I have over the past few weeks thought long and hard about just that.   I fully understand why MPs have left the Labour party.  It could not have been easy for them.

I grew up with the Labour party.  My parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles supported the Labour Party.  It was my great-uncles who carried Derby MP Philip Noel-Baker shoulder high through the streets of Derby and stood him on a bus shelter on the Market Place.

I’m going to stay and fight for the Labour party I believe in, I’m not going to be pushed out by Corbyn, or his cronies in Derby, no matter what committee they take over".

Cllr Paul Pegg

Cllr Pegg appears to be more in touch with the public than Corbyn, certainly going by the poll in his local newspaper (see below).

Cllr Pegg's statement follows the resignation of one of his colleagues earlier this week.

ABBOTT & CREASY DECLARE FOR SHAMIMA

The government's decision to revoke the citizenship of Daesh bride Shamima Begum was always going to antagonise the loony left.  Taking the side of our nation's enemies - or potential enemies - is in their very nature.  The Shadow Home Secretary has practically dedicated her life to it.

Therefore it was no great surprise to see Diane Abbott stand up in the Commons and deliver a furious attack on Sajid Javid...

"If the government is proposing to make Shamima Begum stateless it is not just a breach of international human rights law, but is a failure to meet our security obligations to the international community. Potential citizenship rights elsewhere are entirely irrelevant. Our fundamental freedoms do not need to be compromised; they are perfectly compatible with our safety".

Diane Abbott

Why is it that people on the left never get remotely animated when British people are being blown up, shot, stabbed and decapitated by Muslim fanatics - or the IRA for that matter?  Diane Abbott immediately denounced the single fatality Finsbury Park van attack as a "terrorist attack", but when dozens of people were being murdered in London and Manchester she dismissed each as merely an "incident".  It's sickening.

Diane's Labour colleague, the self-styled 'feminist' Stella Creasy, had tweeted her own opposition to the decision last night (see below).  Stella's feminist credentials are tainted with more than a little hypocrisy.  When you moan about the patriarchy, equal pay and 'upskirting', but you've never stood up for the thousands of young females raped by Muslim grooming gangs in the UK, your credentials must surely come into question.

Stella spent the rest of her evening fending off a wave of criticism.  Who could have seen that coming?

MOST SHARED: WEEK 200

This BTLP original has become the second most shared meme in the history of our Facebook page, currently standing at 32,013 shares and counting.  The analogy was suggested by our new contributor David Winder and it was hastily 'designed' by Richey.  Simple, but effective (that's Richey).  Since it was posted up we've garnered almost 2,000 new followers to the page.  Well done all.

SKY POLL BACKFIRE

Some media outlets are deliberately trying to create an aura of sympathy around the Daesh 'schoolgirl' Shamima Begum.  Rather than run photos of what she looks like now (with hijab) they are only using an old photo of her (uncovered) in an attempt to normalise her as a typically British schoolgirl.  The Evening Standard even ran an editorial urging that she be allowed to return to the UK and treated with "compassion".  Remind us what 'compassion' her comrades showed David Haines and Alan Henning?  What 'compassion' did she show to the many thousands of Daesh victims when she was interviewed recently?  "No remorse" was her message.

Sky News have weighed in with a very leading poll in which said photo is used along with the term "pregnant British schoolgirl".  Despite the loaded bias (she's not even a schoolgirl any more) the poll went the opposite way to which it was intended!
