It's a trio of Labour defences one week before the big day in Gorton and Denton. Technically, the seat in Redcar was vacated by an independent, as the incumbent quit Labour last October. We would expect that seat to go to either Reform or the Lib Dems.
Likewise, Labour are almost certainly toast in Caerphilly, with the seat most likely to go to Plaid. They will probably hold in Leicester, albeit with a drastically reduced majority.
Results will appear below.
Van, Caerphilly County Borough Council
(Lab defence)
Stoneygate, Leicester City Council
(Lab defence)
Zetland, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council
(Lab defence)
