After a series of morale-boosting donations and almost two hours on the phone together, Richey and Karl have secured the short-term future of BTLP.
Richey has released a 25 minute video update that discusses the issues in greater detail (see below), but the key development is the retention of Karl. He will still be taking some time out, but everything will return to normal in 2-3 weeks. There will no Toon Tuesday or Woke Wednesday this week, but council by-election results will appear here as per usual on Friday morning.

As discussed below, a one off lump sum would result in an immediate X subscription, which would mitigate the loss of Meta's demonetization. Facebook ads would be considered, but only if Meta backed off with their persistent attacks on us. Not mentioned in the video is the desired addition of some decent editing software, as Karl is currently making miracles with a bare basic programme that only has one channel.
The important thing for the short term is that over a dozen kind donations in response to Richey's statement have secured Karl's services and further avenues will now be explored as to how we can achieve our goals.
