A few months ago Facebook demolished the distribution reach of our main Facebook page because of a meme posted SIX years ago. We retreated to the back-up Facebook page and last Thursday we were informed by Meta that they were demonetizing that page for reasons outlined in the video below. Our hopes for expanding BTLP this year are now subject to major financial restrictions and without support from any of the tens of thousands of site visitors and social media followers, they are effectively toast.
This is potentially the final straw for Karl and he is on the verge of walking away.
We have already covered the cost of running our website for another year, but had hoped to capitalise on our tenth anniversary to raise enough funds to grow the two Facebook pages and also our X account. Our X account is still not verified, as this costs money on a monthly basis, and neither of us are prepared to keep shelling out for a campaign that should be self-sufficient by now. Despite more than 100,000 Facebook followers, only one person chipped in on our tenth anniversary. Karl and I had spent the entire day, from 7am to 11pm, posting 147 pieces of content to commemorate the occasion. The lack of donors angered Karl to the extent that he stood down for two weeks and was only persuaded to return thanks to his own personal desire to continue standing up to this wretched government.
I hate asking for donations, it really pains me, but I no longer have the luxury of choice as the future of the group is at stake. It's a real shame, because we are at such an important juncture in our nation's history, with such a dire and tangible threat posed by net zero and the police state deployed to enforce it, along with the tinderbox multi-cultural society that continues to erode our way of life and our identity.
Times are hard I know, but if just a fraction of our following chucked in a couple of quid each we would never have to ask again.
If anyone is prepared to help, please click here and deposit whatever amount you can afford to spare in our PayPal account. It would not only restore Karl's faith in the project, it could potentially save it.
Thank you.
Richey
