CORBYN WHIP NOT RESTORED
Keir Starmer has now confirmed that the party whip has not been restored to Jeremy Corbyn, meaning that he will continue to sit as an independent. This comes despite Corbyn having his party membership reinstated by an NEC panel yesterday. Starmer announced his decision in a lengthy Twitter thread (see below) in which he wrote: "I will keep this situation under review".
