The eighth weekly clap for carers took place last night and once again politicians were eager to film themselves in order to gain virtue points on social media. The event appears to be in decline with participation clearly dropping and this was certainly evident in the not-so-Great Leader's contribution last night. Minus the bell he deployed in earlier weeks, Jezza's street was so quiet last night that he desperately tried to raise the volume himself by rallying his neighbours (no wonder half of them don't come out any more).
Still, this wasn't quite as disastrous as Keir Starmer's infamous contribution last week. In previous weeks there have also been embarrassing claps from Ian Lavery and the clearly reluctant Nick Thomas-Symonds.
