Although Fiona was sacked on Wednesday, there was nothing to stop her from seeking re-election in the forthcoming by-election. Given her extraordinary conduct over the last few months no-one could be certain as to what she might do next. As it happens, she has finally conceded that her brief career in Parliament is finally over...
