Alex Salmond has conceded that his Alba vanity project may end up with no MSPs. Despite a recent opinion poll suggesting the party may scrape one regional seat at Holyrood, it could yet come to pass that Alba's only achievement in this election is stopping the SNP from forming a majority. This would be a bitter sweet result for Salmond, whose epic fall out with Nicola Sturgeon has dominated the headlines this year. The question is: Does Alex value his own ego more than Scottish independence?
