Labour's Khalid Mahmood says he actually resigned from the Labour front bench three weeks ago, despite media reports to the contrary. He pinned the following tweet to the top of his Twitter feed last night.
Earlier today he spoke to Matt Frei of LBC Radio and urged his party to re-engage with working people, who he said had been forgotten. If the party continues to favour woke metropolitan elites it will continue to suffer in the north, a fact that is clearly lost on the woke metropolitan elites who have controlled Labour for years.
