While Lady Nugee was very courteous towards the remaining candidates, only one of them paid tribute in return. Lisa Nandy wrote on
Twitter:
"Our leadership debate isn’t going to be as interesting, passionate or fun without Emily Thornberry. She brought so much to this debate. She’s a true fighter, a tough opponent, and a good friend".
Perhaps no great surprise to see any kind words from Long-Bailey after recent diatribes from Nugee during the campaign.
