While many of her colleagues are currently sniping at the government's Covid-19 response, Charlotte Nichols has been engaged in the exact opposite of social distancing. The MP for Warrington North tweeted
a series of photos from the St Patrick's Day parade that she declared a celebration of the town's 'diverse faith communities'. It seems that coronavirus is not going to stand in the way of some bizarre virtue signalling in a town where non-Christians make up barely two per cent of the population.
Ironically, 'sláinte' is Gaelic for 'health'.
